Hmmm... what do you guys think?

Well, since everyone and their mother has threads dedicated to them on this site (i.e. Xfear - X-Marks the Spot, Matt Fox-Foxhole, All Things Norcal, All Things Becca) I was wondering how someone becomes so important? How does one achieve the level of Club House/Bar Room icon by getting their own thread? And if I got my own thread, what would we name it? Here are a few ideas:

The D-Spot
D's Nuts
Take a Ride on the D-Train

What do you guys think?

Making your own thread dedicated to yourself is just kinda lame. You become important by having a thread made for you by someone else. And even then, it's probably going to last a couple of days at most and get buried unless you constantly bump it yourself, and that's maybe even lamer than making your own thread.

The only people that should have official threads are X, NorCal, and Becca. Everyone else doesn't generate as much interest. Sorry, Dex, I love you and all, but your thread just died

The reason why I created in this thread, in a way, was to poke fun at everyone that makes their own thread in the Bar Room and posts nothing but garbage in it. And as for Norcal, Becca, X, etc... their threads are WELL deserved, since they have involvement in so many things on this website. It's probably easier for everyone else if everything concerning them would just be consolidated in their own threads, but this isn't stuff you guys already know.

If there's one thing I know D-Man, is if there's a post or thread done/dedicated to you, the post is going to be top quality. Since you came here, there's never been a post that hasn't lacked interest or shown lack of quality, you are in my opinion one of the best posters on here.

I personally like The D-Spot name. Firstly because of the obvious innuendo made. People would be like "Dude, I'm about to hit up the D-Spot" and that's cool. Also, it is a spot in terms of placement. It kinda works on two levels.

Other than Norcal's, Becca's, and Xfear's, isn't Sam and Jake's thread regularly in the top 20 as well? Realistically I don't think its about whether someone has anything interesting to say- most of them contain general chatting rather than wonderous works of wit and imagination, in which the owner teaches us to be a better person Rather it seems to be more about how likeable a person is and someone to which people want to be friends with. We could probably create a formula to work out how popular someone is dependant on how long their personalised thread lasts

See, but then NorCal is a bit of a foil to that formula because he could be a bit abrasive at times, yet his is like, the second biggest thread ever or something. Not that I'm saying anything bad about NorCal. I didn't like him at first but once I got used to him, he seems like an ok guy.

But isn't Norcal really popular here? I haven’t really spoke to him much here but a la Jake and Sam and sometimes even Xfear abrasiveness doesn't really equal unpopularity here. In fact the opposite is often true I don't know I find you guys all pretty interesting- just as much so as those others guys.
