The only thing worth watching on this piece of shit is the Triple Threat match, which hopefully gets a good 20 minutes.
Other than that though... Cena vs. Barrett could end up being an instant classic, or a major clusterfuck, while Orton vs. Sheamus and Kane vs. 'Taker will undoubtedly be a couple of snooze fests. And that's the whole show... I mean, I really don't understand how anyone would ever pay $50 for this. More power to you though if you do.
I guess I am one of the foolish naive guys that is planning on purchasing HIAC tonight. Not so much because of what is on the card, as much as what has the potential to happen. You know, buying the PPV knowing it has the potential to be lacklustre, simply because I'll be kicking my ass if I don't purchase it and I miss something.
I fully expect McCool to defeat Natalya but if I am wrong, I would hate to miss this, especially if it were to be followed up by an appearance from Beth Phoenix.
I also expect super-Cena to win again, but if by chance a Cena heel turn were to ever happen, I would hate to miss this too.
I've been very impressed with Danielson since he's arrived in WWE. Plus I have always been a supporter of Morrison, especially if he were to return to his more natural heel status where he belongs. And I have become a fan of the Miz as well. While I hope and expect DBD to retain, the potential for the Miz to cash in his MITB after a Orton beatdown in the Cell at the hands of Sheamus compells me to purchase the PPV.
Plus I've always been a sucker for Kane/Undertaker, especially with the return of Paul Bearer. So even though I don't have high expectations of the PPV, I cannot help but buy it.
It's this type of naievity that may get me to do something next weekend that I've never done before: purchase a TNA PPV. BFG just may dupe me in the same way that HIAC will tonight; having to watch it for fear of what could be potentially missed.
