GSB's Post-Vasectomy After Care LD - What Rhymes With Sterile?

Neither my wife nor I want any more kids, my wife has difficult pregnancies, I hate rubbers, and my wife isn't comfortable taking the pill due to possible health concerns.

How's life treating ya GSB? You move yet?

Been a minute since I checked on things here. What's new?

I am a beaten man. Yesterday was my 39th birthday (May the Fourth be with you) and I spent it putting together a yard sale, working the yard sale, packing for today's move, and all around wearing myself down. Been up at 5am both mornings after working late packing. The good news is that the kids have been with my wife's aunt so it makes life easier. Then this Wed my wife is having surgery. She'll be out of commission fully for about 4 days and then at half strength for a couple weeks. Fortunately we are getting some help.

Time to pick up the truck. How is everyone else?

I think we're all thankful you got the vasectomy and will not be breeding. Put a checkmark in the "Good Decision" category. Oh wait... you're really old and you've already bred. Let's see a picture of the "beautiful family". I put "beautiful family" in quotations there.

Crazy birthday weekend man, but the hangover from it sucks.

Oh yeah and Happy birthday.

Thank you sir.

Nah, even if I wanted to I spend 99% of my time on here using my Blackberry Bold. I don't know how to upload pics even if I wanted to.

Happy Bday ya goon!

Georgy, I know you're stressed and overworked, but you need to watch the Bryan/bears video and explain it to me.

Happy belated, GSB. We've been prepping for our move. Did a yard sale last week. Today we spent hours putting DVD's in a binder to save some room for the new place. Just barely finished that and gotta get up for work.

How was your birthday?

Fine, the highlight was going to Chicago's hazardous waste facility. Excellent service.

I've heard good things about this, I have to check it out. I wonder if it is similar to Colbert's schtick on bears.

It can be backbreaking work I hope yours goes smoother than mine.

Where are you moving to now, GSB?

Just moved across the train tracks about a mile away. Unfortunately my wife found a ton of mold the second day we were in there. We stayed at a hotel last night with the kids. A company is coming in today to look at it and hopefully clean it out. We will see otherwise the move was a waste of time and we are going to be stick living with my wife's relatives until we can find another place to rent.

Life kind of sucks right now, I need to get out of this shit storm.

Ahh that sucks man. I'll attempt to take your mind off it by asking you a fun question...

Have you ever wondered why Hogan connected so well with the people in the WWF?

He is charismatic, but in a fatherly way and interacts with the crowd like he would with kids. Not his kids though.

Fack, man. Well hopefully it will soon be inhabitable. But that sucks. Also hope it wasn't a lot of money for the place if you have to leave.

My God your question about Hogan is a good one. Looking back now his mass appeal is hard too explain. I think in 30 years Cena's reign will be much easier to understand than what Hogan accomplished. He was just larger than life and was helped in legitimizing the sport by Lauper and Mr. T. Those two don't get enough credit for Hogan's success. They were huge in their own careers but still played a part in bringing Hogan to the masses and making wrestling seem legit. Now our attention is so segregated I don't know how you pull in that level of attention. It's not like Will Smith is going to work a program with Fandango. You're lucky to get Snookie.

But yeah, when you look at the guy in his tiny yellow trunks, dark tanned skin and balding head you start to wonder how the hell he won the hearts and minds of millions. The act should have only gone so far and it went way beyond what is reasonable. Right place, right time, right guy. This should be a thread in itself.

And yes I'm typing this on the shitter.

The landlord has been a total stand up guy so far and he said he would take the hotel cost out of next month's rent. This is his first time renting the house so there are some definitely kinks to work out.

I'm posting this here because I know CH David will see it, and depending on where GSB's baseball allegiances lie it might be meaningful to him too.

I'm going to the Mets game tonight, where they will be playing the Chicago White Sox. Normally I'd already be waving the white flag, but Matt Harvey is pitching tonight and it's against some guy I've never heard of on the White Sox, so I am fairly confident the Mets can win this one.

Harvey has been a monster this season. Hector Santiago has been outstanding in his occasional starts, and he is pitching in front of his family tonight. This should be a good pitching match up. I expect 2 runs can win this game tonight, either way. Though if the White Sox have a lead and they give the ball to the bullpen, Mets are in trouble.

It'll be a fun game. I look forward to seeing Harvey pitch though.

Shitter/twitter, they're the same.

Going by how damn popular Mr. T was, his rub was incredible for the WWF starting. I know Piper hates the guy with a passion, but he admits to his mass influence as well.

You know how J.R talks about IT. This innate quality that wrestlers have, to break the glass ceiling. Well I see it Hogan. Not just because how the crowd pops for him, but the way he interacts, his mannerisms, the way he draws a lot of sympathy from them. I'll say another thing, his promos recently with Aces and 8s have been great. I know we like to brother-jabroni-dude his promos, but the man can actually work it to carry an angle.

He used to say Brah in WCW. Not a big fan then.

Sounds like the CTA is doing about as well as possible considering the scope of the project.

Do you take the red line regularly? I've been taking Metra for the last four years so none of this would have really affected me. The craziest thing going in Chicago right now appears to be all the school closings. I'd hate to be one of the kids or parents affected but it sounds like the city is doing the fiscally responsible thing.

The school closings are hitting the city harder than anything else, my school still hasn't made up all of the days for the strike. But really I find both sides at fault, the city wants to force certain teachers into retirement and hire less experienced ones at a lower price and of course teachers want more money and smaller class sizes. Each side is really just concerned with money, but I hope there's not another strike, only the students lose.

Hey GSB, you should join the survivor game on here and show the advantages to being older than all of us by winning every challenge.
