Goldberg close to signing with WWE?

Goldberg first run in the WWE wasn't good. I dont want to see him make an in ring return.
.

Beat The Rock clean in his first match.

Entertaining programme with Jericho followed.

One of the few who Austin drank a beer with in the ring.

Scorching performance at SummerSlam.

Pinned HHH for the world title, then beat him again at Survivor Series.

Entertaining fued with Brock (dispite the payoff - but the reasons that much sucked are very public)

And he did good business with TV numbers and buy rates.

Again, they would welcome big Bill back, and so would I.

Im pretty sure he said himself ( i could be wrong ) that he doesnt want to get back in the ring as he has lost alot of mass and wouldnt be the same goldberg and doesnt want to destroy his own legacy, and also stated that hes dangerous in the ring and thats a factor why he doesnt want to aswell, i would absolutely love to see it happen tho, when that music starts i get goose bumps!

I think what he said was that it's harder for bigger guys to return as they have to do the power moves the fans expect, which gets harder as they get older.

goldberg is the man they should just let him after a ryback match to just go spear him and say who's next leading to a match at wrestlemania

I'd like for Goldberg to come back to Smackdown. And right when he's about to say "Who's next" the lights go out and the lightning strikes. Then 21-0 appears on the titantron. that'd be awesome.

It would be nice if Goldberg signed a legends contract. It would be mostly for a DVD set, come out with some Retro T-shirts, put him in the WWE game, and have other merch with his name on it. Also like someone else stated maybe a movie role or two.

As for if he will wrestle again, he has said in the past that he would like to wrestle again so his son could see what he is known for.

His last match in WWE agenst Brock was bad because everyone thought it would just be power moves. But it turned into just like 15 minutes of being a test of strength with alot of dead moments. But there were reports that him and Brock know that stunk and rumors that him and Lesnar still talk and Goldberg and Goldberg may of reached out when he heard Brock was back with the company and was trying to see about putting on another big money match to make up or the WMXX match. If that's true who knows.

I hope he well come back for some apperiances and a few matches. I don't think he will come back to put anyone over. But if he comes back I would like to see him mix it up with some names and not the jobbers. Also, he would be a much better surprise entery into the Rumble then some of the people that they wasted spots on in the past.

At most, I expect him to be a surprise Royal Rumble entrant and be thrown out by Ryback.

thats a great idea and pretty much the only hope of helping Ryback via Goldie.

That way Ry can exercise domination over Goldie but not actually beat him. Obviously Goldberg would be weakened by other wrestlers in the Rumble so his credibility would not erode too bad.

Goldberg had a horrible WWE run. Too far from the '90s, too late for the InVasion, new attire, new music, lopsided feuds, horrible lackluster exit.

Goldberg should pursue MMA like he had intended.. I dont know what his build is or his strength level but hes still in his mid 40s and has some viability of still being a good athlete. If he returned to WWE all he would have to do is crush some younger guys, make his way to guys like Zeke and Titus, take the I-C title then go for the World title. They would be able to squeeze more out of him utilizing him in the tag team division with another behemonth and he can take a loss in that division so long as hes not the member who was pinned. He has to be heelish from a WWE universe perspective, he has to be classic GB and hes got to promote or tout WCW and the WCW way. Its still a high risk prospect and engaging him in a direct bout with Ryback that would result in a clean victory would be a severe miscalculation by the WWE brass.. Goldberg would be devalued and Ryback could lose any solid footing he ever had..

They can play up that Goldberg knows better than anyone about streaks. I personally was a fan of his and was very entertained by his matches but he was the biggest name in wrestling for a decent span of time and beat a ton of the biggest names of our generation. If you really need to bring Goldberg back then just do it for a big match. He doesn't need to wrestle a bunch of matches because he's way past any point of relevance to the current audience.
