God, why did you create so many stupid wrestling fans?

Excellence of Execution
I know "stupid wrestling fans" is redundant, but still. The number of Cena turn heel, Cena sucks, Nexus needs a leader, bring back managers, bring back a tag division, ROH/ECW is awesome, etc. threads and posts in the IWC just amazes me.

It's one thing to have differing opinions, it's another to have stupid opinions. Xfear and I rarely agree on wrestling, but at least it's because we have differing opinions, not because he has stupid ones.

Seriously, God, what's up with that?

Maybe if you didn't trash all of Rox's threads we wouldn't have this problem.

I have to say that there are a lot of horrible threads in the WWE & TNA sections more than the rest. But the mods deal with it at least. I tend to skip to posters I recognise.

That's because the IWC is a disease. Everyone is a know-it-all. The ones that aren't just play "follow the leader" and act like they know everything. It's quite pathetic.

Oh,ok. I can explain myself though. I'm totally ignorant of all the inner workings of the wrestling business, but I sure as hell would like learn about it,so I ask tons of questions.Sometimes I ask the wrong way and a thread gets trashed,no big deal. I hate the fact that I'm kinda lumped in with the rest of these less than subpar wrestling threads tho.If I have a quick question,I head straight for the cage.

I agree with you, there's so many threads out there about the most ridiculous concepts, you would the think the IWC could find something more sensible to talk about. Like how Matt Hardy should become the next WWE champion. Or they could speculate about Chris Benoit. Or they could comment on the new Monday Night Wars and how TNA will rise up and put the WWE out of business. And don't forget how much better the Knockout division is than the Divas division.

You know, sensible things like that :)

That pic of Hurricane is from Raw 2. Right?

I'm still waiting for your rebuttal as to why that is such a senseless claim. If there's professional wrestling on television, I record it and watch it. For someone who isn't really paying attention to how the women look, but the amount of actual entertainment they provide (in terms of both characters and wrestling), I enjoy the knockouts more. Please point out my senselessness. I'd thank you if you did, because I'm really not seeing it. It could possibly be because I'm an idiot, but before I go down that path, I'm going to need you to prove it to me.

In response to Mr. Slyfox's original post, IWC members are just as frustrated as people who gripe about mainstream music, or the fact that all "good" television shows get canceled, or the people that gripe about mainstream movies. Many aren't quite grasping the fact that what they want to see doesn't really reflect what most people are willing to pay for. I remember someone mentioning that they had a system for decided which threads would be swarmed upon by the IWC and thus avoided those threads. Anyone wanna share, because I'm currently avoiding any threads about Bryan Danielson, John Cena, The Miz, CM Punk, Christian, ROH, and Matt Hardy. I think that may be overkill.

First of all, no one is suggesting that you are an "idiot." Quite the contrary, I have been enjoying reading your posts. Just because there's a difference of opinion doesn't make anyone an idiot.

I simply am amused by the number of people who come on here talking about how much better the Knockout division is as opposed to the Divas. Then I watch an episode of iMPACT (or at least attempt to, I usually don't make it all the way to the end), and I am struck by how they are essentially the same, except WWE does it, like everything else, on a greater stage with greater production value. I keep hearing about how much more potential the knockouts have, how much better they were in the indies, how much better their in-ring skills are, etc., But I just don't see it on a typical day on TNA TV. They are still just eye candy, still just filler time between the men's matches, and I just don't see what the KO's do that is so much better than what the divas do. Not to say they don't have the potential to do it, I just don't see it play out that way.

For example, people talk about how great Velvet Sky is in the ring. Come on now. The skills that she displays on iMPACT are no better than what Maryse, for example, does on any episode of RAW. Now she looks tremendous and I'm not complaining, but all Velvet does is dress skimpy, wiggle her butt, act sexy, and scream while she flails about the ring. No better than what any diva does. I have no problem with it, I just find it comical after watching TBP and then coming on here and reading how great they are in the ring.

My favourites are the ones that use the specialist lexis as if it doesn't make them look like *****. Smark, mark, Cener, Czena, Maestrio, etc. etc.

Also, it makes me sad that this place is probably the beacon of wisdom and measured responses in the wrestling kingdom. Makes you realise just how bad the other places must be.

I do Czena. Though Horswaggle pisses me off

My personal favorite: PG IS KILLING WRESTLING!

Someone find me a movie where you have models in swimsuits, massive amounts of violence, swearing, a massive riot and people being launched off ladders in a PG movie. I want to see that movie.
