Go Green Ranger Go! Official HGR Thread

I can't help it! I always knew a childhood spent reading comics and books and playing games was gonna pay out somewhere down the line.

I wanted to comment on your post on the mothership, but for some reason it won't let me log in with my WZ stuff. If you can't tell already, Sly is Lucifer to most out there. You're somewhere on the level with Hermann Göring. I like how Sly goes to helped someone who likely got auto-banned for alts and still everyone is like OMG NAZI.

Seriously. No good can be done for those people who want to complain no matter what. Probably the people that can't find any good in the wrestling product they watch, simply because they honestly don't want to enjoy it.

In other news, I just realized you can ignore people, and their posts show up in little boxes that says "this person has been ignored."

Yep. This is going to make the forums much more bearable, I think. Quite.

In other, other news I really need to figure out which box I packed my camera in, so I can call up Adam Cole and do an interview with da Champ. Good guy. Great wrestler.

Ignore is a trap. You might be able to hold on, but I end up clicking "reveal" after too long because I just can't not look at a train wreck.

And I kinda dropped posting wrestling just because of that. I'm aware that the product is not made just for me, and as such is going to disappoint me if I get too worked up about it. Wrestling is best when it's just out of focus; clear enough to follow week to week but blurry enough to not sweat the details. I'll make a comment here and there, but for the most part I just don't find it worth over analyzing day in and day out.

Speaking of which, you've been with them for awhile now, haven't you? Obviously you are enjoying it then, right?

By "them" do you mean Wrestlezone? Assuming that's a "yes", I do quite enjoy working with them. Most of my actual "job" is just to do all the boring news posting people complain about. It's not difficult, and I'd rather be doing that than another equally meaningless desk job. I wish I did it more often actually; I could be making a bit more money.

I like doing previews and reviews. In fact, I should be working on No Surrender right now. But I've been wasting all my time in the BZT today, and haven't gotten any sort of work done. I feel like that's going to be my fate for the next month or so.

I like Twitter, and interacting with people. I've made some decent friends. Chris Cash is great, but if you talk to him on the phone and he gets going, it'll be 2 hours minimum before you stop. He's got a lot to say, and we've become friends so I don't mind. It's nice to have somebody to talk wrestling with in the "real world". Other than that, I really like both the guys for the Wrestle_Reaction show. I think Chris put together their website and VOW is sponsoring it. Good stuff, I think I've got a date with them on Tuesday to get some recording done.

LaBar is a good guy, we hung out in Chicago for Extreme Rules, but I don't really interact with him very often. Hard working mufucka though; probably more than most people "in the industry." SO yeah, I enjoy it. You get days like today where some people make stupid comments, and sometimes I write an article that turns out to be like, 98% wrong on all my predictions and I'll get flamed for it. But if anything I take it as a good sign that the industry isn't totally predictably anymore, and move on with my life.

Yeah, just remember you aren't getting paid for BZT stuff. Get work stuff out of the way first, then we can dance some more.

Looking forward to it. My friend just posted in the Mega Man vs. Ripley thread. I'm excited to see him start up, even if it's just for the tournament. He was really timid and appologetic in his first post, but that's kinda how he is IRL. But he's also the most brilliant, video-game-minded person I know. He's going to DigiPen in Seattle right now for game design (I think?), and by far...like FAR FAR FAAAR...his favorite character and series is Mega Man. So if there will be any good debates coming out of this tournament, it may well be from him and that thread.

Ok. Just switched to "newest first" mode because I'm tired of scrolling through to get to the bottom of each page.

If I don't get used to this by tomorrow night I'm changing it back.

Ok. No Surrender preview (ish) done. It's shit. One of the worst things I've written this year I think. But it's also 5am and it's a TNA preview, so...whatever. Going to sleep so I can wake up and watch football, and eventually prepare for more TNA. The review will be better, I hope.

EDIT: I really need to take advantage of this early morning crowd more often. I think it's because the UK people are up and busy, and the early rising Americans are probably drinking coffee and checking the internet. Decent traffic in the first 10 minutes, for 8am EST anyways.

I agree, he does indeed make a lot of stupid comments, in-fact everything he says can be perceived as a stupid comment.
