Madden is just this guy, you know...
You're underselling him. More accurately, he's like several guys stitched together at the ass and sharing a collective consciousness.

Good No Surrender column. Part about Hardy at the end was good, and definitely relevant. As someone who doesn't watch TNA, I am intrigued by Austin Aries...but not really about Bully Ray. Perhaps it's because I don't watch, but I can't really get behind Bubba Ray as a main-event talent. This is significant if TNA is hoping to woo some of the WWE crowd, who mostly still likes Jeff Hardy. BFG looks better with him in the ME.

You know I didn't buy Bubba Ray as a main event guy when WWE tried that post draft. Bully Ray is a whole different beast though. He slimmed down, improved his mic work and is one of those guys who works without a title very damn well.

I noticed that too. If you had asked me before that show (I hadn't watched TNA in months if not longer) if I would buy Bully as top singles guy, I'd have slapped you. He looked better than I've ever seen him, and I was rather sold on him as a top guy.

That "Hardcore 5150" shit is pretty tacky, though.

Bully was always interesting behind the mic because he was believeable. I loved his classic shoots on the fans. His persona is to work shoot. This gimmick fits him perfectly.

"Oh look here, here's a mother teaching her daughter to suck dick". That's gold. Admittedly this wouldn't get over in TNA like it did in ECW.

The barrier for me was always the physicality. I was just conditioned to only accept him as a threat with a partner or a team. That he's looking to be in great shape only helped to convince me to see him as legit.

I just don't understand why he waited until now to get himself into shape. I mean he did slim down when he came across from ECW to the WWE but he seemed to have stayed around the the early to mid 300 pound area. I don't understand it but atleast he didn't do it sooner. Not just in hopes of a push but to better his health.

He looks in great shape now though.

This message isn't for anybody in particular, but just because you back an underdog in the Battlezone Tournament does not make you automatically more correct than everyone else's "main stream" choice. Just because the person you support isn't super popular, or is at a clear disadvantage, does not entitle you to be correct without supporting your opinions.

"Dude, I don't even know why you noobs are fighting over this, _______ is the obvious winner because they teh powers."

You know always got me? The game character arguments wherein the poster begins talking about game mechanics as proof of something. Dagger's posts last year about one of those FF7 guys is a perfect example, God bless him. There is very clearly a massive disconnect between a medium like that and, say, a cartoon character. You just can't come up with numbers and shit like that to answer with.

"OMG in Skyrim you can use a Fortify Enchanting potion to increase your level and give an item Fortify Alchemy, which let's you make better Fortify Enchanting potions, which let's you make better Fortify Alchemy gear which let's you break all the numbers of God and one-shot Heaven at level 26 and so yeah GAME OVER NOOB"

I was honestly thinking about trying to get into the BZT, I looked through some of the posting in there and it's clear that I would be WAY out of my league.
