Go Green Ranger Go! Official HGR Thread

Their Money in the Bank match is a much better advert for match of the year, you're right. Beautifully insightful.

The only thing women have to offer men as mangers is their sex appeal. That's not sexism, that's just the way the entertainment industry is.

I've not seen a single female manager with better promo ability than the wrestler they represent. SO bottom line is, if WWE is too PG to show a little skin and be willing to exploit the sex appeal of a female worker (see: Lita), than no, Maria won't do any good back in WWE right now. AJ Lee has become WWE's on-screen ****e, and the most she's ever done is make out with a guy.

THERE'S A REASON the Edge/Lita live sex celebration drew ratings. I love Miss Elizabeth, but I also don't think for a second she was the reason Randy Savage got over.
Your name is attached to that. You ought to be careful what you type.

Sex selling isn't proof that women don't have more to offer.

Figured this would be the best way of getting in touch with you...

Just wanting to point out that in the five/six image top news stories thing at the top of the home page theres a link screaming that ADR is the new WHC and thats totally spoilers and someone with the know how and neccesary passwords should fix that bitch up!

Thanks

Mack.

Not really a big fan of WWE spoiling the title change. People were already going to watch it for the Rock's appearance. Part of me thinks they did because they know the internet was going to spoil it regardless, but that shouldn't matter. We spoil everything. If WWE's going to try playing damage control with the dirt sheets, they're gonna have a bad time.

I was pretty annoyed that it was spoiled, its obviously what ye guys do, i have no problem there. But I dont see how its damage control for WWE to spoil their own show, especially for it to be big bold front page news. People should atleast have the choice.

I guess for ye to have it front and centre is less of an issue when WWE.com does the same, I hadnt clicked the news story when I first posted!

I have to say, as a fan of both guys, I have no interest in seeing Rock vs. Cena II at WrestleMania. And I have ever less of an interest in it being for the WWE Championship.

I don't have a problem with Rock beating CM Punk. The reign has to end at some point, and it makes sense that a guy who has beaten the best of them could actually beat Punk. I also get why WWE wants to cash in on Cena/Rock again. I understand, but that doesn't mean I'm interested.

I'm going to be a little frustrated with that scenario too, because for Punk to carry the belt 440+ days, just to drop the belt to the Rock so he can fight Cena again...kind of a slap in the face. Who carried the ball for the last year? Was it Rock? Wasn't really Cena, if you look at the numbers.

Also, if Cena beats Rock, does that mean we have to sit through ANOTHER match next year? How long will they keep this up? You know what I wouldn't mind? Cena vs. Rock vs. CM Punk with the WWE Championship on the line. Punk beats Rock to retain at the Rumble. Cena wins the Rumble itself. Rock beats Punk for the title at Elimination Chamber, and Punk choses his rematch at WrestleMania, setting up the 3-way. Does it not make WAY more sense?

If anybody wants to know the story behind me being a terrible student in grade school, I posted it in full in the Book This! lounge.

Basically, I started booking episodes of Raw and Smackdown when I was 11, and got so addicted to it I filled up 78 spiral notebooks between 2001 and 2008. I don't even think I was all that great at it, I was just obsessed with the managerial aspect of booking matches and setting up shows culminating in a PPV. I'd book full, page-long hand written promos too. You know, I could probably be a great indy wrestling manager if I lost about 60 pounds.

Sometimes. I almost did a few months ago, but I wanted to make sure I had the time to dedicate to it. Thus far, I do not. And I don't anticipate that changing in the near future.

Psych isn't that great of a show, but I like it way more than I should. The first 3 seasons are just fun, and pretty episodic. However, the season 3 and 4 finales are absolutely phenomenal. The season 4 Hitchcock themed mystery is among my favorite episodes, if it doesn't completely take the cake.

Finished unpacking the last box today, and set up my coffee/entertainment table. I can now officially consider myself moved in. (only took 3 months)

I bought that bitch as an adult!

You know, some lite reading. A little bit of Kierkegaard, a little Bonhoeffer, maybe some OSC sci-fi if I'm in the right mood...And some Dr. Seuss.

I should complete the image by putting my Sigur Ros and Mumford & Sons vinyl next to the Cat in the Hat. Maybe my hand-painted Ric Flair or mixed-media Triple H pictures. Bitches can't handle my swag.

Did you paint that Flair pic and create the Triple H one or buy them? Either way lets see em
