Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

There are people yelling outside my window at 9:00 on a Saturday morning. What is this shit?

I actually know exactly what it is, it's some sorority boot camp shit where they get dudes in the ROTC to come and act as Drill Sargent while they exercise. Why they have to do it in the middle of a bunch of dorms is the real mystery.

Ah, the OTC. They were something of an annoyance to me at university too. Not that I lived in dorms but I somehow managed to end up socialising with a lot of them and they can be the kind of entitled assholes, thinking they are better than you because of it.

Come to think of it, when coupled with the CU, I had to deal with some amount of ********s at university.

I think if Kraft was interested in getting into the snack cake game they would have bought Hostess outright a long time ago. I have no fucking idea who the hell Duchess is.

They make the Coffee Cakes and a few other things. I might be misspelling their name or something.

Yeah, I meant Drake's. No idea where I pulled Duchess from.

A few of them maybe, but most of those people are just plain fucked right now. If a company like Little Debbie picks up the recipes & name rights, they already make their own versions of most of Hostess snack cakes so they'll likely just slap the newly acquired names on the boxes & that will be that. They won't need to hire all those people.

Well think about it: if one company picks up Twinkies they'll be in charge of making Twinkies for the entire world (Though I can't imagine many places besides the US where people would actually want Twinkies. Maybe China.), and they're going to need a lot of employees to make up for that.

Actually, in my limited interactions with them, they seem like perfectly fine people and are usually very polite. It's just that they're yelling outside my window right now and that ain't cool.

Oh, they can be perfectly nice, polite people but they can also be extremely stuck up and have that air of presumed superiority about them.

I would say that the CU can be far, far worse as theirs is a type of assumed superiority that comes with an oblivious streak. Like they could not possibly being doing any wrong or annoying anybody because they are a good Christian.

As you can probably tell, I have a massive chip on my shoulder about them.

I can only assume the CU is the Christian Union. I know that we have a Christian Student Union here (and their name is Agape, which I find hilarious because of Gaping Anus, but I digress), but they're pretty mellow and rarely do anything, mostly because I go to a very liberal college in a very liberal city. The only thing they've ever done to piss people off is team up with the pro-life student group and stick a few hundred lawn flags in the main common on campus, each flag representing one hundred aborted fetuses or something. What was most annoying about it was that it was over a long weekend in Spring which meant there were lots of high school students touring the campus, and that type of demonstration could give them the wrong idea about our school.

We have a much more sizable Catholic Student Union (what with us being in Boston and all), but what little interaction I've had with them has always been polite. Same with Hillel. The Christian Students just seem to keep to themselves it seems.

You know who's birthday is today?

RuPaul

also, Danny Devito, Martin Scorsese, Lorne Michaels, & several others.

Lots of great film/TV people, hope there's room for one more.

Oh, and Tom Seaver is a November 17th birthday. I think I have a better shot of being a great TV/film producer than a great pitcher, but who knows?

There were a bunch I left off, like Reggie Wayne, & Ryan Braun. Your a GoT fan, did you know you share a birthday with Harry Lloyd, better known to you as Viserys Targaryen.

So over the last week I ran out of work, am being thrown out of my house at the end of this month as a result, got blind drunk thrown out of and barred from a few pubs in what I guess was my local area, including a Wetherspoons, not bad at all. Worst of all though I was unable to RP for the battle royal, not that I'd have won or anything, but I did have a few funny ideas in mind for it.

I have a spare room available...I smell a sitcom.

It'd be a laugh, Technology Of Chaos could've been epic. Plus it'd be good to kick the over serious vibe my RP's have been pushing. But yeah, the spare room would be nice, better than these cold, damp streets anyway.

This thread has changed lives.

You're welcome, WrestleZone.

And mostly for the better! Go figure.

Saxton and Saboteur wouldn't hate to rekindle that feud.

Wreck-It Ralph was freaking brilliant the whole way through. It was kinda odd the demographic watching the movie was either the 8-13 or the 18-25 age ranges if you disregard parents.

Things to comment on:

1) I had a good birthday, but I am relieved that it's over. People tend to make you the center of attention on your birthday, and while that's nice of them and all, it's quite overwhelming.
2) Brunch is a stupid meal, and ridiculously overpriced. What's wrong with breakfast and lunch? Nothing, that's what. Brunch was a problem created by a solution for a problem that didn't exist in the first place. The gays have given us lots of great things, but brunch is not one of them.
3) You know you're a wrestling fan when you overhear the dudes in the elevator talking about taking "quick bumps" and you think, "So like, a few arm drags and shoulder tackles?" Then you realize they were talking about cocaine.

I've always wondered this, if Brunch is suppose to be a combination of Breakfast & Lunch, then what what do we call it when you combine Lunch & Dinner? Lunner? Dinch?

I have created Saboteur in WWE13 - Took a few liberties on the design, made it more than just straight-up copying the Ronin suit - and once I finish his moveset will be getting a friend of mine to record the Saxton and Saboteur tag team entrance, complete with greatest theme.

If only WWE13 would leg Saboteur take his katanas to the ring. Unfortunately virtual Vince McMahon is even more stingy about these types of things than real Vince McMahon. It doesn't help that Saboteur totally scratched his car when he was using it to sunbathe on.
