Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

I have a quick suggestion for the next round of the BZT on, when making the threads would it be possible to include links to each competitors bio in the OP? I just think it would be a small change that would make things a little more convenient & perhaps encourage folks to read the bios before posting their arguments.

YOU ASK SO MUCH OF US!

That's a good idea. We'll probably do that next round.

I'm only interested in Cena/Punk because Dwayne getting a title shot at the Rumble intrigues me.

Why? The two put on great matches and have fantastic chemistry in every aspect of the business. What's not to love?

I know they're going to put on a great match. I honestly don't know who is going to win and Dwayne ties into it. If they're going to do Cena/Rock II, I would imagine they would do it at Wrestlemania. I would be fine with Punk/Rock at the Royal Rumble. They may just have Cena win it Sunday and beat Rock at the Rumble to redeem his Wrestlemania loss.

So what it sounds like is that you're even more interested in Punk/Cena because the speculation of who faces Rock at the Rumble ups that ante.

JGlass, you get my PM with my flight details?

I'm just crazy excited. All that star power, and NOC is one of my favorites anyway. We're going to get to see a battle royal! I love battle royals!

And the linking the bios is a really good idea. Will definitely do that next round.

I did. I will see you on Friday night. I can't believe how soon this is! In just four days we're going to have some top notch seats to what promises to be an amazing show.

Yeah man, I always wondered what my first PPV experience would be like. Never expected this. Haha. Thanks again.

Shit, I think literally all my favorite current guys will be performing. Sin Cara, Bryan, Punk, Cena, might even get Sandow in the battle royal. Just crazy.

It's cool man. It's going to be a solid weekend too, lots of vidya games, pizza, walking around Boston, shit like that.

I hope Sandow cuts a promo on his way to the battle royal about why he shouldn't have to compete in the Battle Royal.

So Jiggles I bought X-Men the Animated Series for £32. That's the whole thing.

You should have seen if they could knock a few pounds off if they took away the 5th season.

Yeah, I'm going to be hoping Gabriel (or maybe Kidd) wins the Battle Royale. Thinking about who's not on the card, that's who I think would put on the best match. Neither of them do bad matches, really.

Will be someone else though. Santino, probably.

Every time I hear one of my British friends talk about pounds I think of this joke from an episode of Robot Chicken that makes me roll each time.

Chris Angel is subbing for a class at Hogwarts and he throws one of Hermoine's books across the room and she yells "That textbook was sixty pounds" and he says "No way it weighed anywhere near that"

Every day I look at the plane tickets I want to catch something on fire in anger. Nothing of my own because I like my stuff, but something nonetheless.

I envy you, especially since they keep announcing good things. Get drunk for me. I will probably be drinking and attempting to work- but will likely just stream the PPV in my office while on the clock. Getting paid to watch wrestling is a good idea since they are screwing me out of going. Seems fair to me.

I do find the arguments regarding how Darth Vader was one of the most powerful individuals in the SW Universe rather funny. Sure, he was feared and a dangerous fighter but as with every other show/film/series there is always someone or something stronger.

Even in the realms of Jedi/Sith, Vader is easily surpassed. Check out this dude.

Born Irek Ismaren but later to take on the role of "Lord Nyax," a Corellian boogey-man legend, and long rumoured to be Emperor Palpatine's son (he wasn't), he had similar Force-talents as Anakin Skywalker and became a strong Dark Jedi. However, in training with his master, he let his anger overpower him and his Master was forced to stab him through the head with his lightsabre.

However, despite severe brain damage, he managed to survive and had the added "benefit" of removing virtually all of his memory and mental faculties except for his ability to draw on the Force, which was also greatly enhanced, and monomanical hunger for more power, which he got by accessing the Force Nexus belong the old Jedi Temple on Coruscant (after which he could fly). To achieve this, he demonstrated the ability to project his monomania onto a large group of people so completely that they did nothing else other than want he told them - some would die from exhaustion and lack of food or water rather than stop working.

But as you can see, not only was he a monomanical psychopath with Force powers greater than virtually all, while recouperating from his stabbing, his mother had overseen his conversion from a Dark Jedi into a genetically enhanced killing machine "possessed with immense physical strength, having been medically altered to grow well past a normal human size [and] 8 lightsabers (whcih could not hurt him]... surgically implanted into his body along with sub-dermal armor pads."

It took three Jedi - Grand Master Luke Skywalker, Master Mara Jade Skywalker and Tahiri Veila - a Yuuzahn Vong army and a fleet to bring him down, and even then it is not confirmed that he is dead.

First week of college is going pretty ok. Not much hours, easy monday and friday. The lack of a wrestling society upsets me.

Well thats just crazy. Took a lightsaber to the head and came back. He could just fly at whatever his target is and its toast since he has that armor and 8 lightsabers grafted to his body. Yeah, he has Vader beat in the bad ass department. He doesnt have the voice of James Earl Jones- so that counts against him, though. Heavily against him.

Just run up and clothesline someone. See if a battle royal breaks out. The fans will join in soon enough. Thats an idea or just stand up in class and yell "Best in the World!". They will either cheer or boo you. Either way- you know where you stand with the crowd.

What continuation was this? The Timothy Zahn books?

Sandow is my third favourite thing on RAW right now.

He's pretty fantastic, and I love his "run away instead of get pinned" gimmick. It's fantastic really.

Shepard not making it past the first round is bullshit, isn't it? I was hoping I could push him all the way to the finals, but apparently Samus is just too popular.

You might find your fellow wrestling fans eventually. It's something most people don't exactly wear on their sleeve, though, so you might have to do a little digging or put yourself out there. I didn't meet any wrestling fans until my 4th year.

How in the bloody fuck is Spider-Man tied with Flash? No one has made even the slightest case for Spider-Man. This is awful.

I voted for him because I like him more and the prospect of Spider-Man vs. Shao Khan is more exciting to me than Flash vs. Shao Khan.

I thought the entire point of the tournament, was to vote who you would think would win? Spider-Man is miles and leagues ahead of Flash when it comes to being an actual character, but in this tournament I thought it was suppose to be impartial? I know it is no big deal in the end, but I'm complaining for the sake of complaining. :p
