Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

He's pretty fantastic, and I love his "run away instead of get pinned" gimmick. It's fantastic really.

It is. The extremely smug expression on his face as he's about to speak into a microphone is all kinds of awesome. I feel the same way towards Daniel Bryan, they're obviously great in the ring, awesome characters, and I always smile when I see them in a segment or on the mic.

Shepard not making it past the first round is bullshit, isn't it? I was hoping I could push him all the way to the finals, but apparently Samus is just too popular.

It's shocking. I think Shepard could easily win the whole thing, if it wasn't for gamer's erections getting in the way...

In all seriousness, Shepard trumps Samus Aran with the greatest of ease, and no one's come close to making me think otherwise. It's a rather large hypocrisy that people are going to complain about Batman & others winning on popularity then vote Samus just because they like her more.

What continuation was this? The Timothy Zahn books?

While not writing the first Star Wars novels, Zahn's Heir to the Empire trilogy really kick-started the EU, which is all canon.

As for "Lord Nyax," he appears in the middle of the 21 book series, the New Jedi Order, about the Yuuzahn Vong (named after Zahn) invasion of the SW galaxy over twenty years after the Return of the Jedi.

I think you might be on to something with his facial expressions. Daniel Bryan is number one in that category (obviously), and I think CM Punk might be number two, but Sandow could probably pass Punk if he's given more material.

As if my dick didn't move during the scene with Miranda.

I'm of the opinion that Sheaprd wouldn't even have to lift his gun to defeat Miranda. He can use sabotage to take all her weapons and life support systems off line, and then overload her suit, which I would imagine causes some sort of electrical shock to Samus. He could then use incinerate, which is super effective against armor, to blow her to shit.

Or he could use sabotage and then pull out his Mantis Sniper Rifle, walk right up to her, and shoot her through the skull with an armor-piercing bullet.

In all seriousness, Shepard trumps Samus Aran with the greatest of ease, and no one's come close to making me think otherwise. It's a rather large hypocrisy that people are going to complain about Batman & others winning on popularity then vote Samus just because they like her more.

I'm okay with people voting based on who they like more, but at least hear the arguments first. The evidence for Shepard beating Samus heavily outweighs the popularity factor.

How in the bloody fuck is Spider-Man tied with Flash? No one has made even the slightest case for Spider-Man. This is awful.

Yeah, it's so awful, I just might kill myself is Spidey ends up winning, what a horriable fucking tragedy:rolleyes:

I imagine you supporting him is reason enough for people to vote against him.

good grief man, get it together, they're FICTIONAL FUCKING CHARACTERS.

I thought it was suppose to be impartial?

:lmao: you didn't actually believed for one second that everyone participating was going to be impartial did you? The tournament is about creating some fun debate which it does, the second people start taking shit too fucking seriously is the second this is going to stop being fun, don't be one of those guys that takes silly shit like this too seriously, besides Flash is losing to Spidey, it's not like he's losing to ALF or an Ewok or somebody else ridiculously stupid.

I thought the entire point of the tournament, was to vote who you would think would win? Spider-Man is miles and leagues ahead of Flash when it comes to being an actual character, but in this tournament I thought it was suppose to be impartial? I know it is no big deal in the end, but I'm complaining for the sake of complaining. :p

Usually I do vote impartially. It's why I voted Fett over Bugs even though I was most excited about Bugs going into this thing. However, I think there's still a pretty decent chance that Spidey can beat Flash. You can't discount his Spidey senses, and I'm pretty sure he could slap a web over Flash's face on feeling alone, which would probably send him crashing into a concrete wall at high speed.

Completely off topic, but certain CM Punk fans just make me want to dislike the guy. I like CM Punk, dude is in my fave five, but some fans of his just need to shut up. Am I the only one that gets this. Different forum argument, but they believe he has been the "best in the world" for years now and there has been no one close to him. Sometimes wrestling fans frustrate me.

I've voted against most people Pancake has campaigned for, solely because of how he's been pushing for them to win. It's a hell of a lot of fun.

He is my favorite wrestler right now but a lot of his fans are rather self righteous and smarky

Yeah I probably should have stayed out of the argument. I just felt bad for the one guy arguing against Punk, I had to help him haha.

As of last year Punk was number one in my fave five, now I'd probably put him 5. JGlass will be glad to hear that I've dropped my stance (for the time being) of Cena being too good for my fave five.

I don't have Cena, but I do have a guy the IWC wants to turn heel. Kofi Kingston is in my fave five, damn affirmative action

I've never understood this, why exactly does everyone think Kofi will instantly be better as a fucking heel? he's been perfectly entertaining as is, the crowd pops for him every time his music hits, & he's one of the more exciting in ring competitors WWE has. Kofi is a natural face, always has been, turning someone like Kofi heel would be about as dumb as turning someone like Mysterio heel, the fans just are not going to buy it. The IWC needs to get past this "turn everyone heel because heels are more interesting" bullshit, it's simply not fucking true, & just plain stupid.

No, I'm with you, I feel the exact same way. He's too good not to like, but about 90% of Punk fans need to step back and realize that he is far from the best wrestler in the world. In terms of in-ring ability he's trumped by the likes of Randy Orton, Cena, and Aries, and in terms of mic work he's trumped by Cena, Daniel Bryan, and probably Roode at this point. That's not to say he's not easily one of the top 3 wrestlers in the US, but to think he's in a league of his own is just silly.

I am, especially because that means he's so good that you had to break your own rule and put him in your fave 5.

I've always been a big Kofi guy, and I'll never understand why people want to turn him heel. The dude screams face. I find it ridiculous that Ziggler got pushed instead of Kofi as Kofi is way better in the ring and probably better on the mic too. It's probably a race thing.
