Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

LOL, I'm playing JGlass in both Yahoo leagues this week, or should I say I get the honor of beating him in both leagues this week ;)

Gonna send my bios onto J. If and when you read this, I know you will because you read all my posts like some weird stalker, feel free to make any tweaks you feel are necessary.

Day 1 of Fantasy Football Analysis:

Large WZ League: Good day. NYG and Cowboys defenses were equal which is better than I'd hoped. Dez Bryant was underwhelming since all Romo wants to do is pass to Ogletree apparently. But still, alright overall.

Small WZ League: Much the same. I'm down because Eli went for him and I didn't have my QB yet but I expect Rodgers to have a thing or two to say about that.

Glass Ass League:

Status unknown. Nobody went today, so. It seems Jones's underwhelmingness has worked in my favor against the opponent here, though.

Romo performed better than expected for me in the big league and Miles Austin got me decent points in our small league.

No one on my ESPN team played today.

My PM box was unusually full, then I remembered I PMed all of the bios to myself so I would have them saved here and on my PC. Silly me

Found him. He's at the bar. It's nice to know my tag partner is Scott Hall.

[jk jglass <3 you]

LULZ! I kinda wish I didn't drink, though. I have class tomorrow at... 10:30. Oh, that's not that early.

Rookie mistake Yaz, JGlass always tweaks the nipples first.

This is true.

Remember that time you were all, "This game is going to be like, 40-30!"

After a piss poor first half, Bradshaw finally started doing something, & finished with 17.3 pts. in the Large WZ league, & 16.3 in the Small WZ league.

Triple H cut his hair & I do NOT approve

I'm surprised, but it looks like the Cowboys defensive upgrades are as billed. Cowboys just looked amazing tonight.

Giants looked terrible - Cruz just dropped so many passes, and with their running game...sure, Bradshaw had a good night, but if Bradshaw is the guy running your offense on the Giants, you're in a lot of trouble.

The Cowboy's offense is officially scary. Romo has all sorts of weapons to throw to, and now this new Cabletree guy (or whatever) appears to be added to his list. Murray had a solid game too. Their defense wasn't as smothering as some people billed it to be, but it definitely made its presence felt and will only continue to get better I'm sure.

The Giants did look pretty woeful. Victor Cruz was embarrassing. Was last year a fluke? I doubt it, but he certainly raised some question marks last night. A few of Eli's big plays came as a result of his WRs bailing him out from making shitty throws, especially that one long gain to Hixon (I think in the 3rd quarter) where Hixon was wide open but a poor throw forced Hixon to make a difficult catch with two Cowboys closing in on him. I think the Giants will get better, but Tom Coughlin is certainly going to be yelling a lot during practice this week.

PIECE O PISS, BROTHER

its going well. finally to the point were it doesnt feel like we are working on the surface of an active frying pan every day, so thankful for that beyond expression.

its the beginning of the push to the finish line on this here tour, so that brings spirits up a little, but it still seems far away. Things will feel more real when October gets here.

Barbosa...

Despite the immense enjoyment I got out of it, I almost wish you had never told me about Deadwood. That was a CRUSHINGLY unsatisfactory series ending. I know it wasnt meant to be, but that doesn't make it taste any better.

The interactions with Woo and Swearengen were my favorite. By far. Pretty much anything involving Woo was fucking hilarious

"You just couldnt control yourself one more fucking day!"
"Swedgen!"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP WOO"

:lmao:

The first season was a bit of a chore at times.....the second and third were utterly delightful. The only thing I didnt like was the way a lot of characters and scenes tended to meander and be pointless a lot of the time.

Pretty fantastic though, and for the most part, very strong character development. The most powerful of which being the situation with the reverend and Al at the end of season one.

Also, for whatever reason, I really liked the character of Dan a lot. Being a stone cold killer but all emotional and shit was hilarious.

It certainly was a disappointing end with the buildup to what looked like a monster conclusion between the residents of Deadwood and Hearst.

Alas, the writers did not want to stray too far from historical fact and then did not get their extension of the series/film to finish anything up.

Dan vs Capt Turner was BRUTAL

The finale of season two was phenominal, btw. Such a wonderful creschendo.

also sort of disappointed we never got a love scene with the Bullocks. I thought it was on its way during season three.

I was literally cheering during that fight, like it was on UFC. So. Fucking. Epic. I was legit rollercoaster when it looked like Dan was gonna get killed. I watched most of it with a couple of my boys, and we were all "fuck him, Dan is gonna fuck him up!"

For example, the fuck was the point of the Odell character? Or Jeaneeneeneeneenene? (besides being hot and having an AMAZING pair of tits)

The autumn wind is a raider.

Getting closer.

There he is, the Mightiest of NorCals! How's it going brother? Get any mail recently?

Wait, are you coming home in November? Could a SurvivorSeries Anniversary party be in the works?!
