Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

The sad thing is the that no matter how shitty Bay's Turtles ends up being it'll likely still set some sort of box office records & bring in hundreds of millions of dollars to the studio, which will then of course lead to them green-lighting 2 or 3 sequels over the course of ten hrs. or so. Basically what happened with the Transformers franchise.

No doubt. Many older fans will go see it, and throw up in their popcorn. Younger kids will love it because they dont know any better or what they are missing. Either way the studio makes the cash. Best way to handle it is to boycott the film. I wont be watching it. I wont even download it, thats how much I hate the idea.

Skyrim? Fucking awesome, you and I are about to have a lot more to talk about. Tell me about your character.
I just started Friday before last and I'm pretty sure I suck already. I haven't played in a couple days because I had a school retreat and I've been watching my bro, he's pretty amazing at the game.

I've got a Dark Elf, level 13, using a elven mace. I named her Visenya after Aegon the Conqueror's sister. I thought it was fitting.

How bout yours?

You can't suck at Skyrim, it's a game that is all about exploring and creating your own story, not about winning or losing.

I have played 4 different characters in the game, though I've only completed it with 3.

My first and main character is Bronn, a Nordic Barbarian. He's rocking his Dragon Bone armor and carries around a whole array of weapons, but mostly he just rocks the two handed weapons and his bow. He's very noble, but has a short temper and isn't afraid to use violence to solve his problems.

My second character was a Wood Elf named Lilandra. She was a thief that excelled with a bow, but would use a one handed sword in close combat. She had a twisted sense of morality, but was a genuinely good person.

My third character was a Vampiric Altmer named Octano Dianni. He's an extremely powerful mage favoring destruction and conjuration magic, though he's also good with illusion spells. He's a bad guy, has no real allegiances to anyone and makes all his decisions based on what would benefit him the most.

My 4th and most recent character is an Argonian named Proudly He Fights. Unlike Bronn, he's not a born leader and is better off serving as a soldier than a general. He's a great fighter, however, and is very handy with a sword and shield. He's also very polite.

Ohhhhh snap now we're talking Skyrim. Now we got the real deal subject going.

What character do you play as?

I love you like you're my own blood right now

How do you know your characters personality? Also, did you name Bronn after Bronn in ASOIAF?

I legit have never seen the 2nd or 3rd Transformers. Then again I never gave a fuck about Transformers pre-Bay either. What was that cartoon with dinosaurs in armor? I think I loved that shit but it is a vague memory. I opted for Dark Souls in my latest bargain gaming and haven't got around to Skyrim yet.

And once I marry your mother, I basically will be.

I made them up based on how they talk to people in the game and the choices they make.

And yes, I did. He kind of looks like him too, except much thicker and he has awesome war paint.

Dunmer by the name of Rhy. Rocks the Dragonscale armor and typically sticks with either the Daedric bow or sword, depending on my mood.

The Dunmer seem to be a popular race, can't really understand why. They have that fire resistance, but Skyrim is a land of ice! Most of your magic using enemies (Draugr, Falmer, bandits) use ice (or lightning) spells, and I find dragons alternate between fire and ice breath fairly evenly. But if you're going to play Dunmer, I figure you gotta go magic user.

I enjoyed playing with my Altmer as a mage, but I just like straight up wrecking people with a battle axe or great sword so much more.

The answer you were looking for was Dinosaucers. That show was not too bad, but not too good either. Aptly named because they were dinosaurs and came from space. Henceforth Dino-Saucers. Classy creative meeting that was, im sure...

Fucking Skyrim talk again, well guess I be back in a few days then

Wait, dont go... I miss you!

Nah, seriously though. Im trying to find a complete collection of Spawn, to rekindle my past interest. I lost alot of issues along the way. Is there a reason that they arent all collected together? Whats with this stop\start half assed attempts at collections with missing issues? One series they stopped at like volume 6 and now they have collections of various stories that just skip around. What the hell is all that about?....

I haven't seen the 2nd or 3rd Transformers either. Like, any of it. I saw the first one on DVD I think. It was fun, but I only need to see one movie about giant robots beating the crap out of each other with not other discernible plot in my lifetime.

Speaking of movies, I saw ParaNorman last night, and it kicked ass. Probably in my top 5 animated of all time.

Skyrim is actually still pretty expensive (if you consider 30+ bucks expensive), so you probably made the economical choice. Still, Skyrim is just a phenomenal game. I still can't decide whether it usurps Red Dead Redemption as my favorite game of all time, or if Mass Effect beats them both.

Dinosaurs AND Space. MTFO.

I remember alot of old cartoons from back in the day. Watching them now ruins the memories a bit though. I tried to watch some of Masters of the Universe for shits and giggles. What a crappy show. I decided to watch clips of Skeletors best moments on youtube instead. That made me feel better.

I watched a couple mins of Dinosaucers on YouTube. Some things are best remembered without the aid of what actually happened. Then again I can totally see how a 4 year old would love that shit.

Haha old ass mu'fuckas

This made me laugh a lot, mostly because I'm sleep deprived

I've spent nearly twenty hours with Kingdoms of Amalur and I'd estimate I've experienced about a quarter of it. This is very exciting to me.

I haven't been engrossed in an RPG like this in a looooong time.

I was gonna pick that up when I trade in some games. It looks fucking great.

Dont know if I should dive into that or wait till I play through the new Transformers game. This new disc is a vast improvement over the last game from the looks of it so far.
