Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

The City and Fire Dept ment in a meeting to discuss the contract and the City said it was "confidental" then blabbed to the paper about everything that was discussed, as well as saying that it's the fire department that wants to go to arbitration to settle the contract. In reality, going to arbitration costs us thousands and thousands of dollars and months of time so we'd love to be able to come to an agreement and negotiate a contract.

In Brockville, city hall always tries to turn the public against us and the poll is simply a "who do you support?" question.

I'm sorry for being so quick and not describing it too well. I'm very rushed and eager to hit the hay.

I have a huge favour to ask all of the Glassholes. The best part is, it's really easy. Litterally a click, a scroll and two more clicks.

Can everyone click the link below, scroll down to about half way and click "The Firefighters" in the posted poll? Then submit your answer like a champ. You don't have to read the article, but if you do and have any questions ask away. The article leans heavily towards oneside and doesn't paint an accurate picture at all, on top of just being shady, shady to begin with.

You guys are the best... except for Yazloz and I hope to talk to you soon.

EDIT: Oh yeah. The link: http://www.recorder.ca/2012/08/29/impasse-off-to-arbitration

Done, btw the poll is 85% in favor of the firefighters, good job:thumbsup:

It's okay, I can't stay mad at you. When I voted firefighters they were kicking ass, much like in The Departed.

Got a big birthday bash to go to this weekend... for a 5 yr old, thankfully this one's not taking place at Chuck E. Cheese.

I understand that this is how the game works
Do you? Because I'm getting the sense that you don't. Obama stopping in for a town hall Q&A on a site that has a user base almost completely in the tank for him so he could give substance-less, nice-sounding answers that excite people on his side and ups his cool factor is far from an egregiousness sin. An hour out of his day to garner support on a site as busy and Dem-friendly as Reddit is time well spent for the man. It's business as usual. And not just in the last few elections, the ones that stick out in your memory because you were old enough to remember them. Image has always been a huge part of this game. Nixon sweating in a debate against Kennedy and substance flying out the window tells you what we're all about. Yeah, it sucks. But getting all up in arms about it shows a severe lack of understanding of this game. And putting this at the doorstep of the voters isn't taking aim at the right people. How much choice do they have to really focus on the issues? Take a look at the media. Heck, take aim at human nature. By and large, we'll take pandering, weightless applause-lines, cool dudes, and a circus over reasoned discussion any day.

Things blow. You got that much of it right. But don't pat yourself on the back for seeing how absurd the game played out for you in the media is. Because seeing that doesn't mean people really have the power to change it. That'd be fighting everything that people feel and everything they've been taught to care about by forces larger than you or me.

*Edit* My very real cynicism is showing. Disgusting, isn't it?

I don't think it's a lack of understanding so much as foolish idealism.

It's not about the amount of time he puts into it as it's obviously negligible. The issue I take with it is that it perpetuates the idea that the president's repeatability is somehow just as, if not more important, than the issues.

We should strive to be better, not to keep falling into the same traps.

I haven't been this turned on since this afternoon.

If he's interested in getting re-elected, it is.

I would try to change things, but I have yet to become part of the much-feared "media elite." But you're a Jew. You must know some people. It's different for you.

Quit being a realist and dream sometime. Then again, the stakes are pretty high. We can't have Romney as president, he wants to eat all the uteruses in the country.

Yes, one day, all of this will be mine. I look forward to setting Dagger up on a date with Anderson Cooper.

Hooked ya up Merky poo.

And dare I say it I actually had a good time at the concert. Even though I was extremely tired (had 3 hours of sleep) and now I got called into overnight because one of our staff called out and our 3rd shift ended up doing 2nd since we all were at the concert. Seeing as I'm the only one off Thursday I had to come in. So no sleep for me. And no I didn't stick my penis in any hole of the work girl. Doubt anything comes off it, but I felt she was hinting at things when certain songs came on and she said she loved them and even brushed up against me while dancing. Though I credited that to being so close together in the uncomfortable wooden seats. Oh well, I had a fucking blast and that is all that matters in the end.

Theo, every time you meet a girl that likes you and you don't go out with her, a puppy gets diabetes. Stop giving puppies diabetes.

This is the same girl. The one from work. She is so confusing. She tells me she doesn't want to date and then tells my best friend she would sleep with me and then tells me she doesn't want to ruin our friendship by having said fling. And now at the concert she seemed like she wanted to be close to me and at times seem uninterested. Ayy my head hurts and I'm so tired.

And I don't like dogs, I'm super allergic. They can have diabetes. Wait...that's mean. I take that back. I'm just incredibly cranky.

We had a dog die of diabetes a few months ago :(

And now I feel awful for my previous comments. I should be pushed off a cliff. Actually that is a good idea, someone push me.

Goodness I'm get so cranky and angry and depressed when I'm overly tired. Chances are I'm going to have to work again from 3p-11p after doing the overnight and then I'm back Friday 7a-3p. Somehow I cut hours and yet the past two weeks I'm nearly putting in 50 hours. It is a good thing the guy has a good excuse with his dad nearly dying. But someone else needs to step up besides me and my mom.

EDIT: I believe Justin or someone else in here said this would happen. God I should listen to you people more often.

Invite her to your place to watch a movie, make popcorn bitches love popcorn, turn the temperature in your place way down, when she says she is cold jokingly offer to snuggle with her, maybe compare yourself to a giant teddy bear, go get a blanket and snuggle on the couch under said blanket, brush against the back of her neck "on accident" Tell her how good she looks, she should be dripping wet at this point, if not she is clearly a lesbian.

She has mentioned that she should go lesbian before in our many talks. And I have invited her over, she usually tells me no. Seeing as when I'm off she is working until 11 and she relies on people to take her home since she doesn't have a car. I don't have to worry about the coldness thing, it is freezing in my place at all times. I'll invite her over next week, maybe she'll actually decide to come over since she had so much fun tonight.

I wouldn't trust my advice. Until I met my current lady I was pretty much the guy who just told girls what they wanted to hear to get them in bed. It worked on four, the majority though saw through the BS.

There's another DLC coming out for Skyrim that basically sounds like it combines Skyrim with elements of The Sims. You can build a house, hire stewarts, and even adopt children. Of course, it wouldn't be Skyrim if your house wasn't subject to giant attacks, skeever infestation, and bandit raids.

I don't know how much this interests me, as it all seems pretty extraneous. As of right now it doesn't seem like they added any quests or storylines to the game, which seems like a waste of a DLC release to me. The idea of building a house is pretty awesome, but then what? I've already done all there is to do in Skyrim, what difference does having a kickass house make?

WAY TO GO THEO, SEE WHAT YOU DID?!?, SEE!?!?! SEE!?!?!

You sure it wasn't the Pinky Pie wallpaper that sent them running off in laughter?

BTW, I know Pancakes mom is the size of 4 women, but that doesn't mean she count as 4 women

Hey you know what's a really shitty way to start the day, being at the dentist 15 mins. after you wake up to get a $233 filling.
