Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Having an opinion might not be against the law, but harassment is. Cuff me, officer.

Oh, and I've decided that consistently good discussion about wrestling shouldn't be impossible and so have started posting in the wrestling sections again. With a number of shit posts. I didn't think this through.

Anything earnest but stupid, really.

What, you're going to tell me that Dragonite is as vicious as, say, Salemance?

Oh my, I'm shaking in my running shoes.

Although I do not consider such 'history' to be true history yet as I was alive during most of it, I will give the answer of 'both.'

Modernised much of the economy, broke the power of overly powerful trade unions that needed put in their place but left a large part of the population behind in the process.

Without her, there is not 90s boom but at the same time, large parts of the north would not be in such poor shape.

Do you think the only reason she's remembered with such nostalgic fondness (by those who admire her of course) is because of the excruciating mediocrity of today's politicians? It also helps that unlike any today, she actually spoke with (even if misplaced in some instances) conviction and had character. I'm thinking she certainly didn't deserve a statue opposite Sir Winston Churchill. She had a lot of overpraise for somebody who brought England the closest it's been for centuries to civil war.

Who are you voting for in the next election? If you even vote.

This fucking thing creeped me out to no end at first:

It's got fucking heads for hands!

Please nobody sig this.

I wonder if they all have their own brains, or if they are all controlled by one brain. Or maybe they each have their own brain to perform certain functions the only effect each individual head, but one main brain to perform functions for the entire body.

Only the middle one has a brain - it's in its Pokedex entry. Genuinely. That's a thing I know.

Edit: It's also totally fuck awesome, but, unfortunately, the sixth gen also spawned the greatest dark pokemon of all-time:

Scrafty. Dark/fighting. Just look at that bad motherfucker. It's like if MC Hammer was a pokemon. Teach that motherfucker ice punch and he'll decimate entire teams.

Please don't tell anyone I like pokemon.

Wait, no, we're only up to gen V, aren't we? That's a relief - I don't know much about Pokemon after all.

I've only played generations 1-3, so I can't really tell you about your fancy shmancy generation 4 and 5 pokemon. I do, however, know of Scrafty because I have a friend that's really into Pokemon and he says Scrafty is a beast.

I don't know how he holds his pants-skin up when he's ice punching, though. I also don't understand why ice punch would make him such an asset.

Oh my, I'm shaking in my running shoes.

You've obviously never seen the show, Iris's dragonite was unruly, and hot headed, and Lance the dragon masters dragonites weren't anything to smile at.

We are up to generation 6 with x and y in october.

And scrafty with Ice punch, dig, zen headbutt, and another move of your choice, EV trained in attack and you could have a pretty good mid level attack tank on your team. He has a higher def, than attack, but you could train it up close to it., and Sam, ice is x2 effective on one of the harder hitting pokemon for him, flying types.

Uncle Phatso, 21 year old pokemon nerd, here to help

I taught my ex fiance how to play pokemon? I've always.been more of a fan of Rayquaza, tbh each.

She couldn't figure it out on her own? Hell, the lot of us probably figured it out between the ages of 8-10. I think I was in 3rd grade when the Pokemon craze hit my school, so that would have been when I was 8 or 9 years old, I think... I'm not sure, I was busy playing Pokemon while they were teaching math.

That sounds about right.

Going to a small school in rural Indiana they banned Pokemon, or as they called it Poke-a-man, because it was demonic.

At least you got a hilarious reason for having Pokemon banned. Our school banned Pokemon because kids were playing their gameboys at inappropriate times or crying after they lost their Pokemon cards after a match where cards were on the line.

If anything Pokemon cards should have been encouraged as a lesson in capitalism. The more well-off kids could afford more cards, and therefore were more likely to have better cards, and therefore won more battles and took the poorer kids' cards.
