I don't underestimate it. The Cena machine is still a major money maker, and for it to be so after all these years is a testament to the power he has as a star. But WWE's lack of interest in having any sort of contingency in place is getting laughable at this point. And in that name, I think you overestimate just how long this course of action is tenable by not sharing my Ryback-related outrage.
I'm willing to let the Ryback turn play out. But if you think Ryback was the answer to Cena's candle burning out, I would have to disagree. Ryback isn't a spring chicken, and he's injury prone. He could fill Cena's role in a post-Cena WWE for a year, tops, but then he'd be finished.
I agree, they need a contingency plan, and that guy is probably in the WWE somewhere between the WWE and NXT. However, I don't think the WWE is in need of a contingency plan for Cena as you suggest.
When Ziggler marks bitch about anything, it's generally advisable not to listen.
It wasn't just Ziggler marks. Slyfox himself said Ziggler shouldn't have lost, and he hates that guy.
As for what you say of wins and losses speaking to short-term utility and storytelling, I can agree with that. But then in time, it means nothing. And most smarks keep bitching about the same old shit while the consciousness of the general wrestling audience has moved the fuck on.
Agreed. After maybe a month, maybe, the particular win or loss loses almost all of its meaning.
As to Breaking Bad in August, I can wait. Patiently. Undoubtedly, that means I'm committing some sort of faux pas...
Well, yeah, of course you will. What are you going to do, break into AMC headquarters and swipe the tapes? I'll wait, but I'm not exactly happy that I'm going to have to wait until August, which is when I thought it would be wrapping up.
Indeed they were. The Henry match inparticular was good fun. They have some odd chemistry with one-another.
Probably Punk's best non-Cena match last year. Yeah, that's right, I put that match with Henry above both of his Daniel Bryan Y2J matches. Well, his ER match with Jericho might have been better, but that Henry match was
really good.

As the current top scorer in the EreDivisie and with his team who were touted to finish 17th out of 18 top of the league, Pedro Barbosa is doing okay so far in his turning down of a move to Old Trafford.
Yeah, but the second season always kicks things up a notch. That's when Man U will have their assassins planted, and they're all gunning for Barbosa.
What is this unsubstantiated nonsense?
Yeah, that's some straight up bullshit. Apparently Lariat and Cena are pals, because Lariat sure seems to know Cena intimately.
