Ugh. So every time around this year I start wheezing and getting the chills really badly and I have trouble sleeping, but of COURSE it had to happen the week I have bar tending school. The good news is that the teacher allows makeup classes for free, but that just means everything is going to take a little longer. So I'd really like to go, but with 8 AM fast approaching, me struggling to make it back to sleep and the chills shaking my bones despite the fact I'm wrapped up good I'm not sure I should do it. As much as missing class would suck, going and being so sick that I can concentrate would be even worse. I just hope this is a 24 hour thing.
From the research I've done Langston's bench press [525] is lower than a few. There's about a half dozen guys ahead of him. Cena is listed as 505 in comparison.
But Langston dominates in the squat [711] and deadlift [799] though. In comparison Cena's squat is listed as [575] - I don't know Ryback's but it's likely to be at around 650.
So yeah, other than Ryback, Langston is the strongest guy on the roster until Henry returns. His best lifts are a 951 squat and a 903 deadlift - and he claims in interviews that he could have easily shattered those.
I wouldn't be so sure that Ryback can outlift Cena. He might look more cut, but Cena's got that freak of nature strength that we've only been told Ryback has. Apart from lifting two jobbers over his shoulders, what has his greatest feat of strength been? Until he lifts Big Show and someone equivalent to Edge, I'm giving the edge to Cena. That said, I wouldn't be the least big surprised to find out Ryback can outlift Cena.
I'm also not so sure Henry can outlift Langston today. Sure, when he was in his prime he could definitely beat him, but he's quite old now.
And here I thought awesomesauce came out of another orifice.
Yeah, I went there.
I was given the choice of staying home and watching RAW or going to the bar to watch Monday Night Football. I went to the bar because the Jets were still alive in the playoff picture (and getting the help they needed was reasonable). If basing the decision solely on television, I made a horrendous choice. Based on you watching RAW, it looks like your television entertainment was of a much better quality. What a disgusting train-wreck that was. I'd have rather seen a blowout.
I can't say I'm surprised, though I am a little disappointed. I knew from the beginning of the season that this was not a playoff team, and by the time both Holmes and Revis were out it seemed like everything was lost. Still, winning out the season didn't seem like
too far of a stretch, so seeing them lose because of five (five! five! five!) turnovers is sort of sticking a knife in my Jets fandom and twisting it.
If it wasn't for Johnson's 94 year TD run we would have won. I know that's a silly thing to say, but we held him to 28 yards on 20 carries otherwise. It was just that one ridiculous rush...
Raw was fucking awesome and I'm drained. Live events, I put too much into them and it just sucks all the energy out of me. I may not be alive after WM.
Glad to hear you had a god time sir, though it sounds like maybe you should hook yourself up to IV fluids and take a 12 hour nap. Did you manage to meet up with the NJ contingency?
