Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Obviously, that's why I've not done it.

Sounds like someone needs to join WZCW

Oh dear lord yes. I reckon Ming would be pretty successful in WZCW, and at the very least he'd be interesting. Last night I was making fun of MMSoldier's new character to Doc. I'm setting the over/under on RPs until his character talks to his old high school coach at 5. Pay is double if his coach is dying.

Get more info on it, to ensure itll be worthwhile.

But yes. I always, always have said anything that could end up being once in a lifetime, or something no one else can say they have done, you have to go for it. You will be happier later that you did.

Graduating college will allways be there. An oppurtunity such as this may not.

I found it on Linkedin. It's a TV production company that produces Infamous on NBC and Alphas on SyFy as well as a handful of other shows. They've also done online media work with the Mythbusters guys, so that's pretty cool. The job description makes it sound like I'd be doing a fair bit of real work there too, and it even says something about participating in creative meetings. It sounds pretty epic, and I'm hoping my experience in television production gives me the edge.

As someone who has a love/hate relationship with doing nothing, it's not always all it's cracked up to be. Other times it's the best fucking thing in the world.

NorCal, I am seriously contemplating doing something right now that would take me to the other side of the country from you and our beautiful group of friends in the Spring. It would also prevent me from graduating college at the time I was planning on graduating (but not from WrestleMania, because fuck that, I'd break out of Alcatraz for WrestleMania). What do you think, would an internship with a television production company in Los Angeles be worth putting off graduating college for 6 months?

Might I add, that's VERY good advice.

Fuck yea. Go for it, I 100% endorse this.

You can always pick back up later, shit even if its online classes while you take advantage of carreer oppurtunities. Shit, thats how I manage to be just a few credits short of a bachelors, while having traveled the world and done all sorts of cool shit.

Actual real life work experience >>>>>> peices of paper, every fucking time.

and like I said man, its all about life. You want experiences and stories to look back on, not what ifs. You gotta grab every chance that comes along. The institution of collegeness will always exist.

Outstanding start to my fantasy team in my money league. -4 points, a lost fumble from Mcfadden and a missed field goal from Matt Bryant.

Nice to see Brady Quinn working out for KC, I can really see why they would rather have this guy starting for them instead of Cassel:rolleyes:

I was more concerned about potential infringement on Connor Reese's gimmick, what with the whole "three sport athlete" thing.

It's not like you'd be alone in LA, you always have Jose to hang out with & show you around

Oh I didn't even think about that! And he lives in Santa Monica if I'm not mistaken, and that's where this co-op is! Oh man, that would be SO awesome. Jose has long been on my list of online friends that need to turn into real life friends.

Too bad I won't be able to go to any Kings games.

Did I beat you last week? I think I beat you last week. Consider this trash talk.

I wouldn't worry about it, I think Connor Reese's athletic history is more prevalent to the situation than MMSoldier's character, who seems to have been sitting on his butt since his high school glory days.

I would say that I personally was a "jack of all trades, master of none" type. A good, reliable player to have in the team who works hard but never likely to do anything spectacular.

My school was somewhat similar. Quite high in the academic league tables but as a consequence, not overly proficient in sports but could at times produce good teams.

So tonight on TV, we have GB/Hou in SNF, SF/StL in game 1 of the NLCS, the returns of Walking Dead & Comicbook Men on AMC, & BFG on PPV... that is alot of shit to watch

I represented my school at three sports. Does that make me great?

I didn't realize they had three sports in Ireland. I'm guessing you played soccer, quidditch, and beer pong.

Shonn Greene- 161 yds. & 3 TDs, damn Indy's defense is terrible

Yes our defense is terrible, so terrible you guys couldn't beat us. :D

But yeah, terrible now, terrible 5 years ago. We have had a shitty defense for a while. We have some excellent players, arguably the best defensive end combo in the game with Freeney and Mathis, and we have some underrated guys in the secondary, but we have no depth, and are way way undersized.

No wonder the Jets won today, they had the power of Super Cena behind them, I'm sure in exchange Cena had Tebow use his holy healing powers on his arm.

We have plenty of sports on the Emerald Isle. What do you think we do with all the grassland?

I played football, rugby and cricket - a real child of the Empire

Sam would have something witty to say. I think my bank of condescending Irish humor has just about run dry.

Hey Yazloz, remember that time you bet me a boobjob that the Colts would win?

You're getting double D's, sexy.

Boston's John Cena at a New York Jets game? With Tim Tebow?! Is he trying to further alienate the hometown fans?

What's Cena supposed to do? "Oh, no thanks, I don't want to be honorary captain. Go Pats!"

I'm oddly excited for Comic Book Men, Justin. It's normally not my kind of show, but I enjoyed the first season.

Not Hurling or Gaelic football? I'm almost disappointed.

You think The Rock would go to a Jets game and not hit the Rock Bottom on Vinnie Testaverde? Hell know, he'd drop that Jabroni and then hit Curtis Martin with the People's Elbow because he loves his Miami Dolphins. John Cena should have the same passion for his team.
