I think WWE will have to do something pretty big to attract people to buy this PPV. You're getting a Hell In A Cell at Survivor Series, which in my opinion they should have saved for this show. The big 4 shows should sell without gimmick matches. To make this worth buying there probably going to bring out the Elimination Chamber.

I agree that they shouldn't need a gimmick match to sell but right now I think it is a great idea.Armageddon should have the Hell In A Cell but teh idea of putting it at Survivor Series is good because Edge is returning and there are some good possibilities of how he can make his return during this match.

As for the Title match I see Edge being back in the picture probably against Undertaker. That is assuming he will win at Survivor Series. Maybe Undertaker wins at Survivor Series Edge attacks him after and they have a match at Armageddon.This is what I will like to see happen.
The most likely situation though is it will be Batista because if they want the Edge/Undertaker match at Wrestlemania why would they start it now.

I also think there is going to be an Elimination Chamber since there hasn't been one in 2007, but the question is: What Brand? It will obviously not be ECW because that would be their full roster right there lol. My guess would be SmackDown mostly because it did not have an EC yet and Batista is on the poster. After Vince screws over Orton at SS, to pay homage to the Montreal screwjob, HBK and Vince alliance will take place on Raw. HBK will torment D.H. Smith for a few weeks, decimating him in a match, taunting him about how he used to beat up his dad, and about how he really did sleep with his mom (from HBK vs Bulldog fued from 96- bulldog accused HBK of trying to hit on his wife), HBK turns major heel. HBK decimates D.H. throughout the entire match. D.H. makes a bit of a comeback btu HBK just destroys him, hits Sweet Chin Music, gets the 1-2-3. Vince and HBK are celebrating as HHH's music hits. HHH comes out and takes it to HBK and Vince, clearing the ring as he motions a belt around his waist.
Womens Championship
Candice Michelle vs. Beth Phoenix (c)
Beth picks up the win over Candice in her return match. But afterwards Candice attacks Beth, leaving her laid out in the aisle until its broken up by officials.

As my first post im gonna keep this short. I agree that there will probably be an elimination chamber for armageddon even though I believe they should have kept the hell in a cell for 'taker/edge i mean what could be better than these 2 dudes (that can both take an insane amount of abuse) destroying each other for the title. As a side note does WWE even remember that Edge co-holds the Hardcore title with Mick Foley after their wrestlemania 23 match?
If there is an elimination chamber i disagree that it should be a smackdown promotion. With Raw promoting a line-up of;
-HHH
-HBK
-Orton
-Jeff Hardy
-Umaga
-Kennedy
thers alot of potential for an awesome match which i dont think smackdown can equal (having only 3 guys that would really be watchable in such a stipulation ie 'Taker, Edge, Batista and mabye Rey who im sure could hold his own). With the Raw line-up theres potential for so much;
-HHH; power, great hardcore ability, great technical ability and insane endurance levels (took a walls of Jericho with a torn quadriceps and kept fighting the match, plus injured at the very start of the elimination chamber at SS 2002 when RVD crushed his throat but fought on for another 30 minutes to the v.end)
-HBK; speed, has had hardcore fueds ('with 'Taker and Foley), high-flying, good technical ability and one of the most 'over' wrestlers of all-time who always delivers (whether PPV or untaped live-shows)
-Orton; again like HBK, an all-round wrestler with hardcore experience (again with 'Taker/Foley/Edge) though not as 'over' people love to hate him and he plays the crowd well.
-Hardy; a personal favourite, decent technical knowledge, awesome risk taking (swanton off a 22ft ladder on-top-of the entrance podium in TNA onto abyss
) Hardy could perform as-well-as RVD did in the first ever E-Chamber, whats certain is the real cahnce he would end up killing himself with some insane move!
-Umaga; POWERHOUSE, will dish out serious damdge while taking a beating from HHH and probably getting bust open (you may not like him but hes a serious worker who will deal out serious damage).
-Kennedy; talented (not much else to say 'cept he can hold his own against the best WWE has to offer and is almost enjoyable to watch eg current fued with Hardy)
Finally if Kennedy and Hardy end up having a match for the IC title (which they probably will) theirs always the possiblity of Jericho and Lashley returning to replace them. Better than this would b for Kennedy to take the title b4 Armaggedon have lashley challenge him and have Jericho & Jeff in the E-chamber

here's what i reckon would be cool:
the elimination chamber with undertaker, batista, kane, edge, finlay and khali, with edge winning and pinning undertaker after a spear.
also a ladder match for the us title, matt v mvp with matt winning of course after a side effect off the ladder
and rey v flair, with flair pinning rey after a low blow and a shot with a sledge hammer, i reckon its much better when flair is dirty

my predictions are.
cruiesweight championship battle royal.
moore vs wang vs chavo vs noble.
this would be great because the cruiserweight hasn't been up there for a while so lets start with this.
tag team championship.
londrick vs cade and murdoch
they need new tag champs if they want to have a better rating. they could have londrick winnign and starting a feud with worlds greatest tag team making a ladder match.
us title ladder match: matt hardy vsing mvp.
i beleive it should end here having a great rivally and ending it with a ladder match. making hardy winning, but i still beleive they will have the tag titles till no way out or summerslam

I realized that with New Years Revolution gone this year, this'll be the last PPV before the Royal Rumble, so this'll probably be the PPV that they set everybody up for Wrestlemania with.

This is a stretch, but I would like to see Edge win the title from Batista in a TLC match, maybe with undertaker in that match too. I mean, we haven't seen one of those for a while. Plus, that'd be a good way for Edge to return so it can set up his supposed Wrestlemania match with Undertaker.

Main Event: World Heavyweight Title-Triple Threat Match: Batista(c) vs. The UnderTaker vs. Edge. The reason for this being a triple threat is b/c I feel Edge will interfere during the HIAC match at Survivor Series. He will screw the Undertaker in the match, b/c he feels he owns Batista in World Title matches, and so he would much rather face Batista than UnderTaker. Then on Smackdown he would envoke the championship clause granted him by Theodore Long four months ago when he left. Of course Co-GM Vikki Guerrero grants his wish but informs him it will be a triple threat match. This way it sets up for Taker/Edge at Mania.
WWE Championship Ladder Match: Randy Orton(c) vs. Shawn Michaels. The reason b/c the main event scene on Raw is thin right now, I expect WWE to milk this feud another month. Plus who won't want to see Orton and Michaels in a ladder match.
ECW Championship Match: CM Punk(c) vs. Snitsky. After Survivor Series, who really wants another Punk/Miz, Punk/Morrison or Punk/Daddy V match. I can see Vince sending Snitsky on over to ECW to help the main event scene over there.
Women's Championship Match: Beth Phoenix(c) vs. Mickie James. Candice should be back by then, but I don't think the WWE will push for another match between her and Phoenix this soon. So the only good option would be Mickie James.

WWE Championship- Elimination Chamber- Randy Orton(c) vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H vs. Chris Jericho vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Jeff Hardy- Since there has not been an elimination chamber match in a long time, I can see this happening, Orton will win a SS and that will be followed by a series of play-in matches on Raw which will lead to this main event.
World Heavyweight Championship- Undertaker(c) vs. Batista vs. Edge- I see this as a way to get Batista out of the title picture without hurting him all that much, I see Taker winning at SS just because i dont think that they would rush him back to have him lose two title matches, this will also set up Taker/Edge at the rumble.
ECW Championship- CM Punk vs. Jamie Noble- I know what your saying, but Noble got some good offence in his last few matches with Punk, and I see this as a match for Armageddon, Noble is one of the most UNDERRATED wrestlers in the company and will show why in this match
Womens Championship- Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James- This will be the best womens match that we have seen in a long time, they are obviosly setting this up as I type, I see Glamazon winning but losing at the rumble as Candice returns to help Mickie win
US Title- MVP(c) vs. Matt Hardy vs. Finlay vs. Rey Mysterio- They have had tag matches in the past and with Hardy and MVP losing the tag team titles i finally see a US title match on this PPV with either Matt or Rey getting the pin

Given how SS ended, Edge has entered himseslf into the title hunt. His fued is Taker, and Batista has the belt. This match has made itself.
ECW Title/SD! Tag Team Titles
Remember when Steve Austin was the Champ and Triple H was the IC Champ, and they were teammates as the two-man power trip, and they fueded with the tag team champs, the Brothers of Destruction, Taker and Kane. And they had a PPV match which consisted of a tag team match, in which who ever earned the pin would get the person's belt who he pinned? Well, let's use that stipulation for the ECW Title and the SD! Tag Team Titles. With CM Punk's fued with both Miz and Morrison, this seems both logical and a fun way to mix it up. I say CM Punk chooses Rey Mysterio as his partner since his fued with Finlay is on the cusp of ending.
Speaking of Finlay, he obviously is starting a program with Khali by interfering in the Khali v. Hornswaggle match at SS. This should set up Armageddon's match between the two.
And Kane and Viscera haven't had their one-on-one match yet. Another Inferno Match might be fun.
Now that MVP and Matt Hardy aren't pretending to be friends anymore, they can have their full-on, intense grudge match for the US Title. Make it a Ladder Match.
Women's Title: At SS, in the 10-Diva tag match, Mickie James came away with the pin. To me, that makes her the #1 contender, as the execs have enough confidence in her to give her a win before any of the other divas on the roster. Besides, she's the most worthy (not that something likek that has ever mattered before...). So expect Phoenix v. James.
So what do the RAW Tag champs have to do? They already beat the team who looks like are going to get pushed, so you might as well have a rematch. But we don't want to have a SS repeat, so I say add either a stipulation, gimmick, or another team, just to keep it from going stale. Frankly, I'd rather see Londrick than a tables match.
And of course, Chris Jericho needs a match. He's not ready for a Title shot right out of the gate, so I say give him someone who can do the job, but not someone like Santino who has no credibility. They've been pushing Snitzky as unstoppable, so it might be fun to see Jericho stop the monster. Besides, what other high-middle card heels does RAW have now that Carlito and Booker are gone?

Having arguably the two biggest gimmick matches in WWE (Hell in a Cell and Elimination Chamber) on back to back pay per views is silly. Plus with the Royal Rumble around the corner no less. It won't, and should not, happen. Why blow their load in November and December when "the road to Wrestlemania" and the summer of 2008 needs some fire?
I loved the one poster's idea of a Michaels vs Orton ladder match. The two obviously work well together. Besides, if HBK wants to put Orton over as a legit heel champion, what better way than to lose to him in the match he helped make famous? But it won't happen here. This may be a street fight. I have better ideas for the ladder...keep reading...

Somehow, someway, Taker has to take the title into Wrestlemania for a showdown with Edge - and what better way to put the belt on him while allowing Batista to save face than right here? Also looming on the horizon is the Intercontinental Championship Match between Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy. If Michaels vs Orton doesn't get a ladder, this one should, as Hardy is the ladder legend and Kennedy won the last Money in the Bank match.
A fun battle of the microphone stars, as well as my two favorite WWE wrestlers going right now, may see Chris Jericho vs Santino Marella. WWE teased it by showing the Saveus222 promo during a Santino rant a while back - and it would be Santino's first major ring test.
I also wonder if Armageddon will feature MVP and Matt Hardy's long awaited United States Championship Match. I love this feud and how WWE has taken so much time to build. I hope these two do a series. In fact, I would rather an inter-promotional Hardy Boyz vs MVP and Kennedy match to set it up first.
I don't see the tag titles defended, because nothing is set up. MAYBE we get a Cade and Murdoch vs Holly and Rhodes rematch, but whatever.

2. i think you save Edge/Taker one on one until Mania so a three-way match is good idea here with Taker winning tthe title.
3. Y2J vs Santino i think this is a good way to get Jercho back into things and a test for Santino. Could be a good mic battle between the two plus i think the WWE should reward Santino for his promos hell you can even here JR and the King laugh during them.
4. Hardyz vs Kennedy and MVP cause i think you save Matt vs MVP for Mania as well as a Jeff vs Kennedy ladder match at Mania

WWE Title- Randy Orton(C) vs. Chris Jericho- Let me start by sayng that this is a BAD idea, they should let Jericho have a few warm up matches before just throwing him into the main event, I would have loved to see a Hardy or HBK in this match. The Y2J/Orton match looks pretty set after the end promo on RAW the other night and it has the POTENTIAL to be very good. Jericho will definatly not win as I see WWE saving him for mania. WINNER: RANDY ORTON

This isn't what I'd necessarily want, but its what I see happening:

--Could go either way, but more than likely, Orton will retain.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - Batista vs Edge vs Undertaker
--I definitely don't see Batista lasting this. Whether or not Edge or Undertaker is the champ makes no difference, because the two will start feuding 1 on 1 afterwards anyway. Personally, I'd like to see it be the Undertaker, but I love Edge, so if anyone is picked over him, I'd want it to be Edge. No matter what happens though, if Batista is still the champ by the end of this match, I'll be sooo pissed.
ECW CHAMPIONSHIP (?)
CM Punk is in a bad spot right now. He has nobody in the world to feud with. Punk/Morrison has been going on for far too long, Miz isn't plausible, Burke has been buried lately, Thorn isn't going anywhere, and for all those people that think Dreamer's gonna be the next biggest thing, they're fooling themselves. I can see Kane being the ECW champ pretty soon, but if he was to beat Punk, he'd seem like a heel, which I don't think they want to do, so this is too tricky to predict. Punk's facing random people right now as they clearly have nothing for him to do, so I have no clue where they're going. I'd like to see him go against Shelton Benjamin, though, as he's a new edition and that SHOULD be a great match.

--Here's a problem. Miz and Morrison won't defend their titles here, I'm 100% positive of that. It just won't happen. But Cade/Murdoch might. With the Royal Rumble not too far off, I don't see them putting on a match that would be really interesting, like Cade/Murdoch vs Highlanders vs Londrick vs Rhodes/Holly...because the WWE this year has been all for dragging things out and using the bare minimum. If anything happens with this, I could simply see a rematch from Survivor Series and the title switching hands if they do.

Those are the only matches that i can come up with. I'm not sure what will happen with MVP and Matt Hardy or HHH and Umaga. I can't see them waisting MVP vs Matt Hardy here, maybe a match ending in DQ setting up for a gimmick match at Rumble or they could possibly stretch this match for Mania. We'll probably also see something will Finlay, Hornswoggle, and the McMahon's. There might also be a gimmick tag team match, and I have no clue about the ECW Title i guess i will find out. I also think Lashley might return here or The Rumble.

I also think Lashley might return here or The Rumble.

I hate that WWE is doing Orton/Jericho this soon. It's like TNA's handling of Joe/Angle last year at Genesis. If they want Orton and Jericho to start interacting with one another at Armageddon, there are better ways to do it.
In fact I just thought of one:
WWE should consider doing a Special Elimination Chamber Match. The match would include- Batista(World Champion),UnderTaker(co#1 contender-smackdown), Edge(co#1 contender-smackdown), Randy Orton(WWE Champion), Shawn Michaels(co#1 contender-raw), and Chris Jericho(co#1 contender-raw).
The match would start with both champions going at it for five minutes before one of the contenders is released from a pod. The way the match works is that if one the champions wins then they both retain, if neither champion wins then the contender who wins, will win the title of that brand he's on. While the Champion for the other brand would retain. So say Jericho wins the match, he would then win the WWE Title while Batista would retain. And the same goes for if Taker or Edge win, they would win World Title while Orton retained.

My (early) predictions for Armageddon.
W.W.E. Championship: Randy Orton v. Chris Jericho: After Monday Night Raw's re-debut of Jericho, & his statement of saying when he gets the chance, he'll take the W.W.E. Championship from Orton, I can clearly see Jericho (next week) winning a #1. contender's match, likely against Kennedy (with help from H.B.K.) then going on to Armageddon to likely take the title, for at least a month.
World Championship: Triple Threat Match: Batista v. Undertaker v. Edge: I'm not clear on whether it was rumored, or actually announced. But either way, I would've honestly thought it'd be Edge v. Batista, to save Taker & Edge's encounter for Wrestlemania. Either way you look at it, Batista is likely to drop the Championship to Edge here, & thankfully so.
(SD) Tag Team Championships: John Morrison & The Miz v. Jesse & Festus: After tonight's addition of E.C.W., I think Jesse & Festus won a #1. contender's match, I think. If thats the case, I can clearly see Jesse & Festus picking up the Tag Team Championships here.. as apparently Miz & Morrison only won them, due to Matt Hardy's real injury.
Intercontinental Championship: Jeff Hardy v. Snitsky: Is it possible that this is as much of a push, as Snitsky would get? The real question would be.. CAN Snitsky beat Jeff Hardy, & win the Intercontinental Championship? I think they'd let him run with it.. I'd kinda like to see it, but in all honesty.. I see Snitsky getting DQed, thus NOT winning the I.C. title.
Women's Championship: Beth Phoenix v. Mickie James: Its building, the only question is.. will they make the match for this p.p.v., or save it for the Royal Rumble? I'd kinda think this is a Rumble type quality match. And Armageddon is actually being built nicely enough to look good without this being added. Either way, Beth will win her first match-up that she'd seemingly have a challenge with.
Royal Rumble #1. contender's/Grudge Match: Shawn Michaels v. Mr. Kennedy: I personally think the winner of this, will meet the W.W.E. Champion at the Royal Rumble. This match has "Match of the Night" written all over it, as well. I can't wait to see it, & I hope they don't screw it up.
Finale/Gimmick Match: Triple H. v. Umaga: I seriously hope not, but it looks like these two aren't QUITE done with their feud. And apparently Umaga isn't done with WILLINGLY being buried by Triple H.. so, lets add a gimmick & allow Triple H. to bury him some more.
Finlay v. The Great Khali: Does anyone else think this could be a much better Smackdown, or Raw match-up, than a p.p.v. waster? Finlay deserves so much more than a match-up against the walking talentless. Unfortunately, I see it building for a p.p.v. showdown.

This match is bound to happen and it should be good but batista is in it so u never know. i want to see batista lose the title and edge winning it with inteference by vickie guerrero. this leads to the undertaker and edge feud at WM, but batista will get his rematch before than, probably at the rumble, with edge retaining and undertaker signalling he wants the title at the end.

CM Punk Vs Shelton Benjamin w/Elijah Burke
This match will be awsome with these two great wrestlers. this is what ecw needs and i really hope it happens. Burke will try to interfear but CM Punk will find some way to get the win. Fued should still go on after this
US Championship
MVP Vs Rey Mysterio
this also should be a good match as MVP is really improving and rey is awsome. Rey will try to take the belt off MVP and will keep attacking him on smackdown to get the title shot. After weeks MVP finally agrees and will probably try to take out rey like hardy. MVP Retains.
NO DQ TAG MATCH
Jeff and HHH VS Umaga and Snitsky
i see Umaga and Snitsky destroying Jeff and HHH on raw and this leads to HHH wanting revenge and they make it a No dq tag match. Jeff and HHH will probably win and Mabye hhh betrays Jeff after the match, signifying HHH's heel turn.
Womens Championship
Mickie Vs Beth
This match is going to happen and should be a good womens match between two women who can actually wrestle. Beth retains to expand the feud.
Finlay Vs Great Khali
this match is bound to happen as well as part of the tough love for hornswogle. Vince will probably make Finlay pay for saving Hornswoggle by not letting him use the weapon he uses **Sorry dont know how to spell it** Khali will destroy finlay and hornswoggle to teach them a lesson.
HBK Vs Kennedy
This will be built around Kennedy saying Micheals should step as side and its time for him to get all the fame. Should be a good match but i dont know who will win, not sure.
