I watched Channel 4's show on the 25 most influential games. It's a fucking joke, they use Shadow of the Colossus as their prime example of morality systems. And apparently Braid and Last of Us are more worthy of being in a top 25 than any Zelda or Metroid, Super Mario 64, Pokemon, Goldeneye, Wolfenstein, Metal Gear Solid, any Mass Effect or Bioshock.
It wasn't influential games and it wasn't a top 25, it was games that had changed the world. Doom destroys Goldeneye for importance, as does Super Mario Bros for Mario 64 etc. I thought it was actually a brilliant 2 hours, although it really took until the last few minutes to get its point across.
