So I hear but it's not really my genre, nor am I really in the mood for grindingly hard games these days. I'd pay extra for an easy mode that let me just breeze through and look at it, which I'm not sure their "simple" mode is.

I got a SNES Classic (at launch - I just forgot to mention it). I actually really like Earthbound.

It's really, really good. A lot of people claim to either play it exclusively in docked or handheld but I find I choose based on the game - e.g. I'll play Splatoon 2 docked but I'm yet to even see Golf Story, which is fantastic, on my TV. The wait between big tent pole releases is much easier when you have access to a great library of indies to play on the go.

Now all I need is a virtual console and some Pokemon games and it's the perfect system.

You actually can't progress in the game if you beat a level in simple, you have to be playing it on regular.

I got an Xbox One S for 50 bucks last week, was wondering if anyone had recommendations? I've been playing Horizon 3 and already have a PS4 if that helps.

Uhhh...

Halo.

Cuphead.

Uhhh...

Yeah, Xbox is going through something of a drought.

I came so close to pre-ordering a Switch, Zelda, Mario and Fifa last week.

But that's the beauty of it - you can play it on the shitter!

Sign up for the Xbox Game Pass and EA Access subscriptions and you'll have an absolute shit ton of games to choose from to start out with. Game Pass is $10 a month and EA Access is $5 a month. You will need an Xbox Live Membership for Game Pass I do believe.

Steam's Halloween sale begins Thursday. Can't wait to buy some horror games I missed out on before and then not play them right away because Mario Odyssey comes out Friday.

Just recently got into Bloodborne. As a dark souls fan, this is very similar, yet so different. You still gotta be patient, but it pays to be more aggressive. Been grinding a lil and bought all weapons available to see what combo to roll with

Anyone amped for Call of Duty World War 2? All these commercials are getting to me and I'm hyped that they're going back to WW2, something they did good with. Haven't played a really good COD since Black Ops 2 and have been clamoring for them to go back to WW2 for awhile.

Wow. Between that and Breath of the Wild (which I still haven't finished) I literally might never need another game. As far as games keeping me occupied with something to do.

With help from the Collector's edition guide, I managed to 100% BotW after 140 hours of gameplay (still eagerly awaiting the 2nd batch of DLC though). Man, those 900 Korok seeds.

Have the Collector's edition guide for Odyssey so we'll see how long it'll take me to get those moons. I'm sitting around 160 right now.

You are quite the completionist. Once I beat a final boss there's no looking around any remaining nooks and crannys for me. On to the next game. I beat Final Fantasy 15 and I still had well over 50 percent content to explore and I said screw it, traded it in for another game.

As good as game as Assassin's creed origins is the story feels underwhelming. For a story on the origins of the assassin's I find it stupid that things like the first leap of faith arent symbolic or at least a moment (the hidden blade was good at least). Maybe I need to wait for the next game where they actually establish the order.

Bayek is the first protagonist they've had since Ezio who actually has some depth to him, excluding Edward Kenway from Black Flag. Bayek should get a second game, although I'm only part way through so I dont know if I'll feel the same way at the end. Amazing how much the game improves when they've had a year off and given the character a proper motivation AND a personality. I dont think Ubisoft will learn from this and they'll churn out another AC game next year

Never been a big fan, only liked Black Flag. But this one did catch my attention, cuz of the Egypt stuff
