Ok it's official. I have to get a PS4 now. FF7 remake was literally the only thing that could ever convince me to get one. Unless it gets an Xbox One version, I'd rather get an Xbox One.

It'll be released on PS4 first, then released on PC and Xbox shortly after.
Xbox One it is then. Either way I have been saying for years that I'd buy whatever console an FF7 remake is released on. No matter what.

While I agree it was subpar, I'm hardly worried. Nintendo pretty much stopped being super-paranoid about E3 years ago.
That being said I'd like to have heard SOMETHING about Wii U Zelda, since they did show it off last year.
Starfox looks very good, and 3-player Zelda and Multiplayer Metroid Prime looks solid. And they did show off Mario Maker at the NWC rather spectacularly.
Nintendo'll hopefully announce some stuff in a Direct at some point, otherwise I've still got to finish, well, all my Wii U games other than Mario Kart.
It's gotten to the point that I kind of want an Xbone or a PS4 but I've begun to live an adult life and I'm not sure if I have the time. Or money.

GG Microsoft, have fun watching your backwards compatibility announcement do absolutely nothing for business since 95% of Xbone owners already have the 360 and you've already burnt the opportunity to swing people over by waiting two years to do it. What the fuck was that metroid shit? NOBODY ever thought "gee I wish Metroid was multiplayer without Samus or the original devs". Like what the hell Nintendo? It's like if Konami released Castlevania baseball or something. Star fox looks rad as shit.
Microsoft and Sony were neck and neck this year. Microsoft made a lot of good decisions but none of their games really impressed or stood out. Still it made amazing choices for the future that was very pleasing. Sony went the complete opposite. They had the pleasing games,the last guardian being a thing, the FF7 remake everyone wanted but nobody thought would happen and the horizon game looks great. I'm biased so I think Sony won but Microsoft knocked it out of the park also.
Cannot wait for the new Hitman. Looks amazing too and thankfully isn't going story drive like Absolution.
Metal gear solid continues to impress while giving me zero clue what the hell is going on.
Fallout 4 has me scared its gonna continues bethesdas streak of dumbing down games.
Mass effect has never been my thing so meh.
Doom looks wonderful. Hopefully it's as good as wolfenstein was.
Holy shit Kingdom hearts 3
No mans sky may be ambitious but I have not seen anything fun. More colourful destiny maybe.
Battlefront doesn't look as bad as I assumed but it's so far removed from its original that I can't care enough.
Overall pretty decent e3 10/10.

Yeah, I am currently playing through Origins and I consistently question "where was this gadget in Asylum/City?"
I must say that I have enjoyed City and Origins more than Asylum for the same reason - I played them both on the Wii U rather than the PC.
