Damn straight I do. I debate by providing facts and indisputable numbers that support my theory and/or topic of discussion. Not everyone agrees with me but no one (other than a sheer idiot) can deny that I am thorough in my research and provide evidence that help prove my arguments.

It was about how TNA was featuring (footage of) him in thier next PPV showing that despite what haters claim, TNA does not feel that he was bad for the company or it's image.

I did.

As part of TNA's reboot for it's debut on the new network, they are rumored to be further stepping up productions, pyro and so forth. They are also expected to be going back to a 4 sided ring. Now they are featuring PPVs with legends. What do you know? After listening to the IWC who claimed that HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN was ruining the company, and briefly going back to the old ways, TNA now seems to be admitting that HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN was right after all. They are even featuring (footage of) him on their first PPV at their new network.

Maybe it's time to take another look at the HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN era and see it for the good points. Even if it was not your favorite era, you can't deny that a lot of good came from it. While maybe not as much as people hoped, viewership did increase. HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN'S debut episode remains the highest rated episode. 2011 - the "Immortal" takeover angle- is the highest yearly ratings average. The highest domestic attendance record was broken two years in a row. First in 2012 Slammiversary X drew 5,500 fans. Then the following year 7,200 fans came to Lockdown.


That's a landmark attendance growth every year - which has not been duplicated. Clearly they were doing something right. I know there were mistakes as well such as moving to Monday nights. But don't forget, their highest rating ever (HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN'S debut) was live on Monday Night so, it made sense to try it. Fans had different opinions on things like Open Fight Night, Gut Check Challenge and the Bound for Glory series (all of which I thought were good concepts but needed to be tweeked) but you have to at least give them props for trying something new.

So what do you think? If the rumored changes are true (not to mention the PPV), do you take that as a sign that the HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN years weren't as bad as some have said?

There were no positives from Hogan's tenure in TNA. None whatsoever. TNA in 2013 was in financial ruin due to the being on the road touring for Impact Wrestling...which was a Hulk Hogan idea.

Hogan never pushed the young guys, despite always claiming that Matt Morgan was the future.
Booked himself in the biggest show of the year versus Sting in a HORRID match.
Hired his friends and family to TNA.

Plus, he was never called Hollywood Hulk Hogan in TNA.
