Eve, the diva to beat Maryse for the divas title?

Okay so everyone knows that Melina has torn her achilles tendon and will be out for several months. So that leaves many people wondering who will challenge Maryse for her divas championship.

I think that Eve will replace Melina as the top diva face on RAW. Eve is really trying to improve her in-ring skills and she is. Eve has gotten better since she first came to the WWE.

Eve is getting better every week and she is good on the mic. She seems to be in the middle of a push right now. So do you guys think that Eve will be the diva to defeat Maryse for the divas title and if not her who and why.

I personally wish Beth Phoenix was still on Raw. She was running over everyone on that show. She's on Smackdown right now and not receiving a push. There's no one in the WWE that can beat her and i feel like Maryse and Undertaker's girlfriend as wrestlers are well... jokes. But that's just me and that's enough of my banter of why i love Beth. LOL. Anyway....

Here's the roster of RAW divas:

Alicia Fox: currently in FCW, i believe, training
Bella twins: No in ring skill
Gail Kim: received her opportunity and failed, injured
Jillian: no push right now
Katie Lea: no push right now
Kelly Kelly: no push right now
Rosa Mendes: strictly a valet
Eve: little push (with Chris Masters), training

Knowing this, Eve will probably get the next opportunity at the title. She's training in FCW and i saw one of her matches and she seems ready. She botched her finisher but looked really good in the ring. Out of all the divas that i mentioned, none of them are really getting pushed, so its probably going to be Eve. Although, knowing the WWE and Wrestlemaina, there's probably going to be a battle royal at Wrestlemania for the title. My money will be on Eve. She's beautiful, charismatic, and her in ring skills have improved. Now that Gail Kim is out of the picture and no other diva is given face time other than Eve with Chris Masters, Eve should be the next number one contender for the Divas Championship. Although, Awesome Kong is a free agent. Maybe just maybe WWE will sign her and actually give the divas some competition. But for the moment, I'm going to be rooting for Eve.

Eve, Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, & The Bella Twins are the only face divas on raw that are active. Neither of the Bella Twins will be contender's for the title. I don't think Kelly Kelly can really be taken too seriously. That leaves Gail Kim & Eve. Honestly who I think they will go with is Gail Kim and that's who they should go with. I mean they need to give her the title already, she's more deserving than any other diva on the raw roster. Plus Eve is working a program with Chris Masters valet, and I just don't see Eve as a real threat.

I would think Gail should be the contender for the title because she has the skills and she seems to be close to a good push. I do think Eve is being groomed to be the top face in the near future. This would be the perfect time to get more faces because it has been only Melina and Mickie for awhile. Honestly, the Divas have become stagnant and they need a change to mix things up to create more interest.

Either way Gail should be next, but Eve needs to keep getting groomed for her chance in the near future.

Well, I think that the diva to beat Maryse for the Divas Championship will be either Kelly or Eve because those two are the future of the divas division. Maryse is the top heel, so a feud with her would be beneficial to both Kelly or Eve. Both of them in my opinion should be given a chance at getting their first title reign. It should be a longer feud though, with Maryse winning at first and the face overcoming the odds by the 3rd match or so. I agree completely with the threadstarter, but also think that Kelly would be a good choice too because she would make a great top face if given a chance, she's been compared to a younger Trish and it's about time WWE give her the chance she deserves to live up to that comparison.

Eve just might get her shot and win but with Maryse being the heel that she is and WWE competing with TNA they way they are now and the Latino community really being a strong force involved in the world Eve will most likely win at least for a couple months.

But who knows with the "Crack Head" staff sometimes LMHO! I do see Eve's change for the better in the ring i would like to see a great promo from her though in the near future.

With the next WWE Draft coming up WWE needs to make some Serious changes to the current Diva Lineups. I think Having either Natalya Or Eve beat Maryse at Wrestlemania would be the best option because the Divas division needs more exposure.

Well, Eve has been getting a big push. It seems that creative wants a fued between her and Marayse. Possibly for a match at Wrestlemania?( I wouldn't mind.)

What I actually like about Eve is that she does have combat skill. She actually is trained in jiujitsu with none other than the Gracie clan. And if you don't know anything about the Gracies, they're pretty much jiujitsu gods and paved the way for MMA. Anyways, I like how the WWE is letting her showcase that a bit( her armbar finisher.) I really think they should promote her as a submission specialist and not just a pretty face. She can go far if the WWE doesn't screw it up.

Yes, Eve has been quite impressive, and you can see even in the little ring time she gets that she has the ability to work. In her time in WWE, she has improved so much, arguably the fastest I've seen. I think she's the true future of the division, as she seems to work really hard and that armbar finisher today was pretty awesome. She is athletic enough to do that flip thing so give her some reign to do more. People might actually care about her matches. She needs to be the top face on Raw and if Mickie comes back, send her to Smackdown and let her be the top face there. Team her with Cryme Tyme again and show her off against men. Imagine her hitting a big top rope maneuver on CM Punk or something. It would be huge! And she can do that. I have all the faith in the world in this girl. She's got real potential.

Eve finished off Maryse with a mother fucking armbar! I don't think I've ever saw a diva beat another diva with a submission move. Does anyone even know the last time or if there was a last time??

With the success of MMA, this is a great move in my opinion and instantly gives Eve credibility to win the championship. She has my vote. If she in fact trained with the Gracies like xAsianRejectX said, her growth in the ring is something that I haven't seen with the diva division ever. I forsee either a one on one championship match with Maryse for the championship where Eve wins or a 6 woman tag match at Wrestlemania where Eve beats Maryse with a submission and later on at another pay per view or Raw, we'll see her get her first title. Eve will be the most popular face by this time next year.
