For today at least I've set up the live chat thread. I'll be watching both games, talking and there will be some charts and stuff (I love charts).
I'm still accepting predictions until the whistle blows, which is 90 minutes away

One day. One day I'll fluke my way to a victory in some sort of football prediction competition. I did it for the Premier League 2010/11 season, I can do it again!

I am rooting for holland this time, those guys are among the most underrated teams in the world. Plus a team that kicked brazil's butt in the world cup has every chance of making it big here at the euro cup. However if you ask which team will win the tournament, i predict its gonna be italy, as they seem to me like the most organised team of the lot :)

Anybody seen the videos shown on Sky Sports News? Absolutely disgusting behaviour by the Russian fans, felt physically sick after one of them.

It's natural they lost after every single person predicted they'd win. It'll be interesting to see how they hold up now, they have a long history of inter-camp arguments. Not only that but they've got to play Portugal in a rematch of The Battle of Nuremburg and then the Germans who they hate.

Roy Hodgson is so full of shit. Firstly he says he didn't want to bring Ferdinand because he's too good to sit on the bench, now he's saying he might pick him in the future. What is it about the England job that makes managers lose their mind?

Weirdly enough I found the two day 1 matches better than todays matches. Probably due to the lack of hope I had in them

Looks like Brazil Vs Argentina was a classic. Argentina won 4-3, coming from 3-2 down, Messi hattrick and scores the last goal in the 85th minutes. 2 red cards followed

In other news I'm going to set up the live chat again tomorrow but I may be missing for the first game. I think my girlfriend is feeling a bit abandoned

Solution: watch soccer with her.

Alternate solution: mail order bride.

Joint first after four games not bad. Now if only I'd picked Denmark...

Surely, no-one picked denmark. In other news I wish I'd noticed this thread earlier. Football isn't my first choice of sport (much prefer any kind of Motorsport tbh.) But still big tournaments bring out the statto in me.

A bit irrelevant, but one of the R.E teachers from my old school is the fourth official for the Spain game today. Something about that is just awesome.
