Typical that we have to start with what is no doubt the least interesting game in the tournament. Hopefully the atmosphere of the hosts will save it.

I have faith in Samaras and co. to beat the co-hosts. Not a match I care about though, will be watching in background

I don't give them much hope. Poland over the last year have looked the best I've ever seen them, they have a genuine goal threat and the home crowd are going to be intimidating. This game badly needs an early goal

Lewandowski is a quality striker. All he will need a sniff. I'll be surprised if its goalless.

I'm more anticipating Blaszczykowski (Yeah, I copied the name, forget trying to spell that) to be Poland's main player. The man has serious pace and there is no way for Greece to counter it as far as I can see.

Still though, I'm keeping faith.

This is basically my first serious attempt at an international soccer tournament, so I know basically nothing about anyone in this tournament, other than that Spain is pretty well favored. I will probably ask a number of increasingly idiotic questions, so please bear with me.

That guy in the opening ceremony fucking up with the ball will likely be the most exciting thing about this match.

They definitely exist. There's a lot been made about racism in Polish football recently, I was hoping there would be some sign of inclusivity but nope.

Gah, Poland should be 3-0 up already. They're just cutting straight through Greece.

It's only a matter of time at this point. Greece just have nothing for Poland. This is painful watching for someone pulling for Greece.
