Slim Shady LP came out in '99 actually. And he hasn't had a great album since Marshall Mathers. One great album in a decade doesn't equal the best rapper of the decade.

I know it came out in 99 but I read the first post and apparently they counted the Slim Shady LP as this decade. Not sure why but they did. And The Eminem Show was a great album. Encore was shit, but you can't win them all.

Because lyrically, he's still one of the best out there. He still has it. People are just so stuck on the old albums that they refuse to accept any new shit. Relapse wasn't a bad album. It was pretty damn great. Encore was meh, but it wasn't garbage. He tried a whole different style on that one. My favorite album will always be The Eminem Show unless Relapse 2 blows it out the water, doubtful because it's a wonderful album.. but y'never know.
Beyonce does write most of her own music, so (Natedahack) shut the hell up. Also, even if you were going to make that point, Nickleback (I guarentee it) has performed songs that they haven't written. Another thing, Eminem is garbage these days, and doesn't even make credible music. The only good thing he's done in years is do that freestyle on the BET rap awards, that was good and it brought me back to the old Eminem.

Ha, that album was basically god when I was like fourteen. Everyone had it, everyone played it all the time when we smoked. The first Chronic album is where it's really at though.
