There's a difference between a misunderstanding and a false accusation to the police.
A false accusation? So if a player's been (or thought they were) racially abused, he/she should just keep their mouths shut? No. How else are they meant to "kick out" racism?

As for his incompetence, I have seen far, far worse than the "poor" decisions he gave against Chelsea. Neither of the reds were overly poor. Torres' was definitely debatable but explainable by "not all contact is a foul" while Ivanovic's was a blatant straight red by the rules of the game.
Oh, and technically Suarez's racism was a misunderstanding. That did not get him away with it.
Clattenberg's career is already ruined, the extremely poor decisions he gave against Chelsea (because that's what they were, fucking poor) are the reason Man Utd are top of the table. We all know how close things can get in the title race and if Man Utd win the title by two or less points, those awful decisions will have cost Chelsea or Manchester City a Premier League Title, granting Man Utd one. What about what happened with Suarez? Two wrongs don't make a right.
