He may not lose confidence, someone obviously would've told him after the game to keep his head up and that he played well, another start always helps too. I think he'll get at least 10 goals in all comps.

I love how you've just taken it for granted that Chelsea will be in the Champions League next season, Villas-Boas isn't cut out for the premier league. It will be a Man Utd + City fight at the top, with Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham battling it out for third and fourth.

Ferraira, Anelka, Ballack was shit in his last 2 years, Drogba only scored 11 last season and wont score that amount this season. Lamps and Terry aren't as good as they were 2 years ago. Beletti did nothing at Chelsea and don't get me started on Shevchenko's "holiday" at the club.

Benayoun looks finished, Chamakh is about as mobile as Nelson's Column, Park is the classic Arsenal striker -drifts out wide and out of the match. Gibbs is to Clichy as Andy Johnson is to Alan Shearer. Jenkinson is arse, Fabianski is arse, Djorou got done by a League Two striker multiple times. Arsenal won in the end but only because Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a good goal and because some guy who's squad number wasn't even in the programme came on and carved outa chance for Benayoun that he took about ten minutes to put away. Coquelin was the only decent Arsenal player. It could have been 3-1 to Shrewsbury at half time, and had that been a Championship side, or maybe even a League One side, this would have been another Arsenal defeat. Glad Owen kept up his immense scoring record in the Cup last night and even ol' Giggs got in on the act too. Berb at centre-back, another option too so that's something!
However it was sad to see Pogba freezing up when he appeared. After all the controversy surrounding his signing a couple years ago it would have been nice to see a few positive touches. At the same time, he's a young guy who will hopefully re-appear somewhere down the line.

Oh, ditto. Gerrard is awesome. One of my favourite players ever, he just doesn't look like he has the talent that he, in fact, does have. He looks like an avergae joe, then, you watch him on the pitch and he becomes this world-class passer, volleyer, shooter, crosser, free-kick taker and best of all, an amazing, inspirational captain. Lampard, on the other hand, is the most glorified, over-rated piece of shit on this Earth. He's the most consistently average player on the field, ALWAYS. Fuckin' hate the prick.
