Bets if Torres had tried to do himself in with a gun he would have missed that too? ;)

Would you please do me the pleasure of not bringing up Torres's miss ever again? I've been hearing it all fucking week.

I could well be proved wrong about Chelsea/City, but despite Mancini's idiotic claims that his squad isn't big enough, hard to look past them staying in contention, dare I say maybe even winning, the league. Chelsea haven't really strengthened, and for the most part AVB is still untested as there is a big difference between the Portuguese league and the Premier League, just as there is a big difference between being a member of a top manager's backroom staff and being the manager.

I'm not looking past them as contenders, that would be silly but I refuse to believe that they will suddenly win the league this year when Man Utd and Chelsea are still there, I have faith in Villas-Boas, we pretty much outplayed Utd and I still think we can win the League.

The 80s was probably the worst decade in Chelsea Football Club, considering the worst season in our history is 82/83. We went up a year (we were relegated in 78/79) later but were back down again in 88 and then we were promoted again.

So, as you'd imagine, I'm not very fond of the 80s historically, football wise. No wonder I didn't know about Dundee's success against Barcelona.

Real Madrid weren't shit back then either! Guess the clubs of El Clasico have had the last laugh on the "New Firm." (For now)

Yeh you played well on Sunday, biggest difference was the ruthlessness in front of goal. And the eyes of the linesman. But Drogba's goal at OT in 2010 got the same blessing too.

In case you're interested, that team featured Lineker and Hughes too.

Well Alex is off but Fulham miss a pen.

Too many missed pens this season.

after there 1-0 defeat to Levente, Real Madrid have just drawn 0-0 against Racing Santander

Chelsea are now down to 10 men in there match against FUlham with Alex getting sent off but Fulham have just missed a penalty

Vicente, as in "best winger in the world circa 2005" Vicente, is warming up for Brighton. I think there's a good chance of another 2006 goal coming our way...

It should be noted that falkirk were 2-0 up until the 83rd minute.

Quite a few teams must be happy that they did not take the punt on Ruiz at the moment

We've got Leon Best and the best penalty taker in the world. Fuck Ruiz ;)

Eh, don't count out the lower league teams. One has a good surge every season or so. Knowing our luck we'll end up at Celtic Park next.

True and one of our biggest problems with away trips to lower league opposistions isn't the players but it's the pitches as they really don't favour our playing style, I would go as far to say that some of them are worst them Fir Park which is a scary thought

But looking at the draw then a trip to Tannadice is something I'm sure most Celtic fans would like to avoid
