Dixie Carter listens to the fans!

Enigma

Pre-Show Stalwart
I'm not sure any of you are aware that a couple days ago Dixie Carter asked fans who they wanted to see more of (via. Twitter). I read alot of the responses and some were ******ed but most people asked for Alissa Flash to get a Knockouts Title shot.

I personally, tweeted for the samething. Then, I tweeted her asking for a D'Angelo Dinero face turn and push when he returned from his leave of absence. I also tweeted asking for Lethal to be used differently.

According to Tonight's Impact tapings (Spoiler free):

-Flash gets more focus.

-The Pope gets a face turn.

-Lethal is being used against 80's Wrestlers.

Dixie actually listed to the fans. Now, If she can make changes by listening to our voice then why can't everyone else do the samething?

The stupidity of people in the IWC amazes me.

It doesn't work that way, she won't listen to your sad attempts at Russo because he isn't doing a bad job as a booker. He probably needs to be fired but TNA has no one to look to right now as a replacement.

Learn Business.

Dixie will listen to people's comments on talent and who should be pushed and who should get a title run, etc.

You can't expect her to listen to your idiotic remarks on Russo or anyone else just because it suits you.

The same person asked and answered the question. Not flaming, but that is confusing. Oh well.

There is a reason Russo gets the big bucks. First TNA had gotten in touch with Neidhart before Dixie asked this. The only idea mentioned that sounds decent is the Alissa Flash push. Someone needs to challenge ODB. I thought they might reward Daffney but I guess going through tacks and barbedwire is her reward. These changes will not last but hey you had input.

its in dixie's interest to at least appear to be listening to the fans by using things such as twitter. In actuality it is probably only by gauging the reactions of live crowds will decisions on talent directions be taken. It always been that way

Obviously she doensn't there's another week of spoiler up and low and behold AJ loses another match? For pushing the younger talent they sure are burying him, what record they going for, How many times can the WHC lose before he loses the belt? What is with Neidhart coming back? He's gotta be like 60, what has TNA turned into Senior Citizen Get us a Cane Action? You sent Nash home, who is credited with ruining WCW for the younger talent, then you bring in the biggest ego of all in Hogan and Bishoff, and you've re-created the downfall of WCW, next years SummerSlam DVD will be the Almost Rise of TNA turns into the Downfall of WCW 2

well yeah shes not gonna listen to the fans, but I agree with OP, I like Flash and would love to see her win the Knockouts title.

Why do you pose a thread and then come into your very own thread and basically call yourself stupid. Did you forget to login with your other alias or something to create dialogue? Whatever it is, it looks like a failed attempt.

As for Dixie, it's good that she wants feedback but I don't think it's necessarily smart for her to be on twitter.

And speaking of twitter, I have no idea how to use that thing or if my message even went to her. I don't even see any dialogue from anyone of her followers like we do in here. It's real weird!

Come on, people, use your heads. There was obviously a deleted spam post in between the original post and his response.

I don't watch TNA, but I think that's extremely interesting. If TNA embraces the internet, we could either see something very good or very bad. Let's say that TNA officials patrol WrestleZone for ideas, and they pick all the ridiculous ones. That could suck. However, if they pick the good ones, that could be interesting. Other companies might follow suit, if it works out for TNA.

It's hit-or-miss, really. Involving the IWC could be a good idea, or it could be a bad idea. It depends on a number of factors.

dixie will listen but she wont do anything drastic she just really wants to know who we the IWC like cause normally we like the ones we see that have alot of talent. the only person we need to see less of in tna is dr. steive that angle has just gone on way way to long

There's clearly some entries missing here. Namely, mine.

I guess it counts as SPAM, even though the spam rules are far dumber than even Lethal jobbing to an old timer who wasn't even relevant when he was in WWE 20 years ago.

My opinion on this is that it's a half way good idea if true. There's only some fans who are worth listening to. If the Lethal loss is part of an overall story line, then great, but he has to win most of these matches. No one is going to take a guy seriously when he jobs to Jim Neidhart. Neidhart is also a terrible person to start the story line with. Jake would have been great. Even Joke-o Koko would have been better. It could have great long term success if it leads to a Lethal push, and could spike ratings each week with old fans tuning in.

How's that?

It's really naive to think that Dixie Carter is going to take booking advice from armchair internet bookers. The only "input" they are interested in is the reaction to what is booked, not the actual booking itself.

Why would Dixie pay Russo his (undeserved) salary if she's taking advice from Twitter?? Jesus dude, don't be ******ed!

We all like to think that our rants and raves on forums like this are read and noted by pro wrestling big wigs. But they're not. Really if they were, what would we have to complain about anymore? We'd have ourselves to blame for shitty products, not the bookers and that just simply will not do.

There is no way that Dixie's twitter has any sort of bearing on the direction of the company. It is possible that she is using one or two suggestions, but it's highly unlikely. Looking at Flash's push, she's been the best heel for a while, the beautiful people are shit now and Kong's busy. Coincidence is a beuatiful thing. As for D'Angelo's face push, noone really cared about him when he debuted as a heel, so why not try something else? I am very suspicious that anybody is taking twitter posts as pointers, and if they are, there is a disaster waiting to happen there.
