Dixie Carter teases a new talent signing; Carlito to TNA?

I don't know why but I have a feeling that it may be....Batista.
I mean the guy has made it clear he know longer wants anything to do with WWE.
And the truth is, when TNA want someone, they get someone. (i meen seriously, hogan, hardy, flair, angle, RVD etc). Thats why i wouldent be surprised at all if it was him.
Now i'll be honest, I dont watch TNA (mostly because its hard for me to watch due to the timings but also because I just like WWE more) but if batista was to go there, then i'd be interested and I would watch TNA (I am a batista fan)

if not him then Mickie James, kattie lee, paul heyman or perhaps chris jericho intends on going straight to TNA when his contract expires.

Dixie Carter talks through her ASS...i'm kinda sick of her tweets...I't probably going to be a nobody..has anyone even requested they sign someone? Carlito? Kevin Thorn? Katie Lea? Who knows who it is..they probably going to be shown for a week and then dissapear...I never take Dixie's tweets seriously anymore..it's her way to get people to watch iMPACT!

The way Dixie has been with these Tweets over the past months, I would say take this with a grain of salt. Obviously there will be a new talent in TNA, but I won't bet my money on a guy like Daniels. If anything, it'll be someone like Mickie James, Katie Lea Burchill, or Gregory Helms.

I would mark the fuck out if it was Daniels, but knowing Dixie Carter as of late, I don't know.

batista is trying to get into strikforce and the closest jericho has come to being a part of tna has been when him and his band did a ppv theme song for them in 05 i believe it was

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Roderick Strong. I remember reading a few times that he was backstage at some tapings and I thing he might have worked a dark match too but I can't recall. I say its going out on a limb because I know ROH is putting a big push behind him.

Not too many people outside of ROH fans would be excited or even know who he is though. Not to mention how pissed ROH fans would be that they lost another star.

But he brings a good look, decent mic skills, and excellent in-ring ability and would be a great addition to TNA, probably for their X-Division.

If it's not him I wouldn't be surprised to see Mickie James or Gregory Helms show up soon. And I would be pretty excited to see the Fallen Angel back in TNA, I think he's a bit too big a star to only be in ROH. Like most others I'd welcome him back with open arms.

I have heard a lot of people complain multiple times because of Dixie's tweets and them all being let downs. Maybe she has signed Mickie James, although I really doubt it I have heard rumors of Mickie coming back to the wwe after her tours for her album is done. Mabe she is going to sign Katie Lea Burchill or someone else that the wwe has released recently I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'm going to go against my better judgement and trust Dixie when she says this is somebody people have been asking about.

That being said, it seems most likely to be one of three people:

1. Daniels. Seems the easiest to sign, and he has been noticeably absent.

2. Mickie James. She's been very buddy-buddy with Dixie, lately, and has expressed an interest in TNA, since she can have a more relaxed schedule for her music.

3. Shane Helms (yes, he's still Shane Helms to me). I'd say he's very likely as people have been asking about him for months, and he is a good high-flyer...Now, if we could just get Evan Karagias, we could have a 3-Count reunion.

I want it to be The Hurricane/Gregory Helms. I thought for sure he'd be the one to answer Jeff Hardy's open challenge, and from what I've read, everyone else thought so too. Coupled with Jarrett's old mysterious pictures pointing towards Hurricane that never led to anything, I could imagine the fans asking about his whereabouts.

I like Helms. I love The Hurricane, though the gimmick may not be suited to TNA, so he probably won't show up as The Tornado or whatever. Not a big loss, as Helms as himself is quite entertaining. I don't see why he couldn't show up and do some things in the X-Division. He'd make a decent enough addition to the roster.

It could also be Roderick Strong. Didn't he have a TNA tryout match a little bit ago? He's a big indy name, so he could also be someone fans were talking about. Just a thought.

I doubt that this is anything to get too excited about. I'm not trying to bash Dixie here, but she's notorious for over-hyping something like this and then not delivering...and by that, I mean that we most likely won't see whoever she's talking about on television for a WHILE. We probably won't even know the identity of who she's talking about for a while, and when we do find out -- it will most likely be a bit of a let-down.

My initial thought was that it's Mickie James, but I like the idea of it being Katie Burchill (or however you spell/say her name) or possibly Carlito. It's most likely a WWE cast-off of some type, maybe they stole Delirious away from RoH after all (highly doubtful)?

She did say it was someone "you guys have been asking about", but that could literally be anyone. Hopefully she (and/or the rest of TNA higher-ups) don't make everyone wait too long for their television debut, or their identity like it's been done in the past.

i hope it's an addition to the Knockouts Division, myself. Mickie James or Katie Lea would be awesome. they need some more more ladies in there. they don't even seem to have enough girls to warrant having both a Knockouts Singles Championship and Tag Title. I'm kinda tired of seeing Angelina Love or Madison Rayne or Tara as champ. i would love to see Mickie James come in and win the Knockouts Championship. She's been my favorite women's wrestler since Lita and Trish left wrestling.

With the recent push of EV2.0, I would almost be willing to guess it is some former ECW guy that the fans wanted to see at Hardcore Justice. Probably someone who had to work either in Japan or in another promotion the night of the PPV. Someone like Shane Douglas, Roadkill, Lance Storm, Steve Corino, Danny Doring, Tajiri...etc...this list is too long to mention everyone possible.

Dixie Carter is not too bright, so hypes people up for let downs... its prolly some old WCW washed up Fart like Shawn Stasiak, or Buff Bagwell, Its not Carlito he signed with lucha libre Masked Warriors, Shelton is ROH, so it could be Reid Flair, or someone we dont want to see, like Vader.. lmao1

Who gives a shit who it is. They have a ton of people not doing a goddam thing, and we are supposed to be “excited” for another person coming in to do nothing?

Unless it’s HBK (sarcasm), I don’t give two sacks of horse shit who it is. Dixie needs to focus on cleaning house and improving the product. Not bringing in more dead weight.

Other than Mickie or Shelton, I couldn't care less about anyone out there. I no longer pay attention to Dixie's teaser tweets. Cried wolf too many times for me.

So what you are saying is that you've made up your mind already as to this signing being "more dead weight", when in fact it could end up being the next Nigel McGuinness, who is now heralded as one of the best signings in TNA history via Desmond Wolfe?

IDR, I don't think it's about WHO they sign. The problem with TNA is that they have TONS and TONS of talent and they don't utilize them for shit. So why the hell would we get excited about bringing in someone that can potentially be Dave Batista who will get pushed for three months, headline two PPV's, and then get lost in midcard bliss battling AJ for the Legends... er, Global... er, Television... er whatever-they-want-to-rename-it title?!?

I think most posters in here don't care about TNA's signings because they don't care enough about their futures to book them effectively.

Like who, D? Jay Lethal, Amazing Red, Brian Kendrick, Hernandez, Eric Young and the rest of the card-carrying members of the DPC TNA can lay claim to? Yeah, no thanks, man. I'll take a Gregory Helms or a Christopher Daniels or anyone with an actual personality over any of the aforementioned names any day of the week and twice on Sunday before I'd push or re-push anyone who I just so happen to still have on the payroll.

Who exactly is waiting in the ranks who's actually worth not being there?

D-Man's right. I would love for it to be Helms or James, but in all honesty they'd get a three month push and fade into obscuirty.

Desmond Wolfe came in on fire last year and entered a fued with Kurt Angle! and where is he now teaming with Magnus on Xplosion.

Generation Me came in and looked like they'd light the tag team division on fire, they've had their first match in months.

THe problem is they bring in these guys and have plans for them but they don't follow through and just leave them to the side to bring in someone else and repeat.

While you've got your crystal ball out, can you tell me the winning lottery numbers? I need the money.

Yeah, tagging with Magnus on Xplosion, set to compete against the Motorcity Machine Guns in a tag-team match for the TNA World Tag Team Championships at No Surrender. What an embarrassing fall from grace – to go from feuding with Angle over no title to feuding with the hottest tag-team in the business over real gold.

Poor Generation Me. Couldn't possibly be because they have absolutely no fucking personalities whatsoever though, right? Couldn't possibly be because when it comes to the natural progressions of story-lining, they fail at the most critical parts in being able to convey a story outside of performing high-spots in the actual matches? They're name should be Generation Mediocre.

You just explained the problem here. They have plenty of names on the roster but none of them are effective. So how does another signing make us exciting? If it always looks like shit and smells like shit, most of us assume it's going to be shit.

I'm a big fan of Nigel's work in the Indy's and marked out when Filsinger Games signed him to a Legends of the Future contract, but if there is anyone out there heralding him joining TNA as one of the best signings ever by them I haven't seen it. To be more specific, I know he got a lot of love when the WWE was ready to sign him and then again when TNA grabbed him when WWE passed, but as far as what they have done with him is less than exciting. He may have had the potential to be a great signing, but they sure haven't used him like one.

I really believe it's KLB. Like I said earlier, she just had a try out match like last week so that seems to make the most amount of sense.

With that said, I agree that TNA needs to stop hiring people and concentrate more on building up the guys and gals they have (and I don't mean the EV2 losers). They only have 2 hours a week to work with. More is not always better when you don't have the platform to showcase them on. Especially when it's lower mid cart talent, which is what I assume this signing will be.

It broke

Yes fueding with a main eventer which could have made him a main event player as well (worst upper-midcarder) to going in a tag team over tag belts.

Well considering there were barely any tag teams when they came in (Beer Money, MCMG, 3D and I guess The Band) they could have helped variate the tag team scene a bit.

Like who?

Wolfe for one, Shannon Moore looked like he was going toward an X-Division push but got shafted toward a tag team with Jesse Neal.

It could be anyone a this point. It could be the two knockouts that have tried out recently such as Becky Bayless and Chrissie. Dixie gets a lot of tweets asking her to bring every name in the book in from The Rock to Mickie James. Katie Lee has worked some dark matches, so it could probably be her. Daniels, Mickie James, Helms, or Paul Burchill could be selected as well. Anything could happen, but I wouldn't get my hopes up thinking that the next talent signing is a big name like Heyman and so forth.

Hopefully TNA can use whoever they bring in to their potential. We don't need anymore Shannon Moores or Orlando Jordans that hardly do anything. Someone to help the knockouts or the X division get off the ground would definitely be helpful.

I suppose Daniels would be the most exciting, given what I've seen from the names already mentioned in here. Still, that wouldn't be that exciting at all. Remember his last run in the company? Sean Morley. Yikes.

I might actually be a little interested in Mickie. She was one of the few women's wrestlers I actually cared about. Awesome Kong as well. Bring here in.

In the end, it'll surely be someone unimportant and insignificant, especially given Dixie's past history. My guess is Tito Ortiz.
