Did WWE stuff up another heel/face turn?

I was watching Raw when Legacy double teamed Orton, the fans including myself were booing Legacy, is this other botch heel/face turn? I know WWE wanted Dibasie face for the Marine 2, but after this im thinking Randy will be tweening between the two. What do you all think about this?

WILL LEGACY BE HEELS AND ORTON BE FACE
WILL ORTON BE HEEL AND LEGACY BE FACE

DID WWE STUFF UP THE ROLES OF HEEL AND FACE FOR THIS?

As to the Marine 2 that is pretty much beating a dead horse. That movie came out in Janurary and they were in no way ready to make a turn then and at this point that is no longer a factor.
I think it will be Orton turning especially if both HHH and HBK take time off after Wrestlemaina they need someone else to be a main event level face alongside Cena. But I also dont see him going full face. I see him going the SCSA route and playing I stand alone. I will help a face if it benefits me but otherwise its all about me. It makes the most sense as Orton as a full face i dont think works

It seems it to me, I always thought the point was going to be that Ted would be a break-out face and Orton would be the heel because let's face it he's got to be a heel or he's nothing. His face work was awful. We can thank our lucky stars he is still acting like a heel despite the crowd popping for him, and that perhaps shows why this has turned out as it has. Orton has been getting cheers from the crowd for months now despite his actions.

Still, I think the problem is the 2-on-1 aspect. It's very difficult to get two men cheered against one. The last time I remember it was the Hardyz against Brock Lesnar. It's because the bad guys have to be the ones who have an unfair advantage and Orton is theoretically disadvantaged as he is out numbered.

I thought they'd instead build this as a triple threat match with Cody and Ted turning on each other. Ted could get over as a face, Orton could remain a tweener, acting a heel, getting cheered as a face, and Cody... would probably get not a lot of reaction to be honest.

If they turn Randy Orton into a full-blow face (I mean like Cena/Mysterio-type face), I will stop watching wrestling. This guy is one of the only reasons I still watch as much as I do.

I think he has the best thign going right now. He's getting a tweener reaction, and still doing heel things. I think if they try and mess with his character, he will lose momentum. I say let him go the tweener route. His version of tweener seems to be a lot more evil than Steve Austin. Steve did things everyone wanted to do; drink beer, beat the hell out of his boss, etc.

Orton can't go that route. Austin had a likability to him that Orton doesn't have. Orton is getting a face reaction because he reminds older fans of the Attitude Era. If he makes a complete face turn, it will be garbage. He'll always be money in the ring, but his character doesn't need an adjustment, not at all. I would guess Rhodes/DiBiase will stay heel after Mania, as a tag team, for a while at least. I think Orton will stay on the same path, on Raw. DiBiase/Rhodes might head to Smackdown.

I sure hope Randy Orton will remain face and Legacy, well I don't really care what Legacy has going for them, heel or face I don't mind.
All I know is that Randy Orton is born to remain heel for years to come.
Hell I don't even know why WWE would even think of turning Randy face, last time was a disaster if you ask me, sure he did fine with the feud he had going with Triple H after Randy was kicked out of Evolution, and that's probably the only time Randy as a face like character has ever done anything worthwhile, because he was facing the biggest heel of the company at that time.
And then Randy went on to have his little "relationship" with Stacy and everything, hell I admit I was happy when he RKO'd her and turned heel again, cause Randy as a Face does not work, I repeat, does NOT work, atleast not for me.

I think this is actually the way that WWE wanted and expected this fued to go.
If WWE wanted legacy to be faces then why have DiBiase use a weapon to pin Orton at EC? They have been doing all the heel work while Orton hasn't really cut any promos since EC. He has done all his work in the ring, and hasn't used any heel tactics as yet. (I don't consider attacking Legacy during the 6man tag-match a few weeks back to be a heel move, more a case of self defence)

i wanna see Randy run a route like SCSA like someone said, he can jus go around RKOing everyone like Steve did with the stunner, i wouldnt mind that, the fans chant RKO every match hes in and pop huge when he does it, love everytime he hits it, DDMe aint got shit on him there, BANG!!

At first it really looked like Ted was going to make a face turn, Now as time has gone by Ted had become more of a heel. Now I really think that the cards had turn, Orton always get's the major pop out of this stable, Legacy. Orton is now acting more like a tweener then a heel. Im sure that Orton will turn face past Wrestlemania, Also with his turn this will help both Ted and Cody become a better heel tag team. If they turn Ted or Cody face they wont get nothing out of it, Because they weren't a big factor in that little stable. Pretty much Orton made his own self look good, And over shine both Cody and Ted.

I love how the IWC gets swerved, and then has to say that it was a WWE failure. It is absolutely obvious that they want to keep Legacy heels, because they are two of the most boring wrestlers on the roster and its far easier to be a heel. They're obviously heading towards Orton being a face, but he proved pretty conclusively in 2004 that he is awful as a traditional face, so I think we can expect the weird loner kind of face, somewhere in between crow Sting and Austin. They didn't stuff up any turn, they just didn't do what the IWC expected them to.

I think the plan was to turn Legacy face, or at least Ted, but Orton started getting face pops at the end of the year when feuding with Cena. I think the match with Sheamus showed that the crowd can love him, so WWE swerved us because of fan reaction.

I don't mind Randy as a face, as he is no different. He is truly like Stone Cold, in that the character works either way. The only thing different between Orton as a face and as a heel is the punt, and he hasn't done that in a while.

Orton is one of my favorite wrestlers, and has been for years. I think the way he moves in the ring and his moveset as a whole creates interest, and he can be the evil heel or the superfocused faced.

Well what's the point of turning randy face. People cheer him any way. If he turns face that would be awful. I mean if he starts talking about how because of the WWE universe he's standing in that ring as of today like Cena does I'm done. But it should just be Orton is the tweener and legacy is the heel because I really don't think either one should be completely face.

I think people are buying into Orton becoming face to much, Ted is ready for a solo career, Cody isn't, I still think Cody will turn on Ted, maybe even at Mania, keeping himself with Orton, which will enable Orton to win at Mania, and push Ted threw the roof that he's been screwed, so we've got the revenge match with Cody at extreme rules, then maybe a rematch with Orton at Over the Limit, and maybe in the same match at Fatal Four Way before Ted moves on and Cody matures out in the ring still under the turtlage of Orton (maybe even a tag titles win)

i've been sayin it for months that wwe wont turn ted face why ??cuz his dad is ted dibiase and if you recall ted was the one who turned cody heel and it has worked for them ever since the whole idea is that legacy has learned from orton and now are better heels as you can see they did the old orton pose on monday ..as for orton they'll let em play face for a while until he gets a shot at the wwe title and then u'll see him turn back to full heel
