Did Sting make the right choice in 2011 when he chose to go back to tna over the wwe

I think he did, because he became world champion twice again. Yes him vs. Taker is a dream match, but I feel like and still feel like that he would have been overshadowed by the rock.

As big of a Legend as Sting is, The rock might be the number 1 if not number 2. Most wwe fans, even more wanted to see the rock more than sting.

Sting got two last world title runs, and now he got those runs and now he can face Undertaker at wrestlmaina, because you know he is not going to beat taker.

What is your opinion on the subject I would love to hear it?

Sting got te be TNA's own super-veteran with a dark gimmick. There's a reason he's the first entrant in TNA's hall of fame. With him staying on in TNA, he could do his own thing and didn't have to compete with Undertaker or Kane. He did what he can to help put TNA on the map and they all have to retire at some point.

Sure, he could've had more money, but judging by the few interviews I've seen on Youtube, Sting is more concerned with his mental and spiritual well-being and TNA's comparatively relaxed schedule would help.

Clearly a relaxed schedule has done wonders for his mental state

I have to agree with you, Sting should try to go back to tna and be a trainer, but if he wants

A report I read about ten minutes ago states he will have one match with WWE, which will apparently be next year at Mania against Taker. If that turns out to be true, then yes, it was a wise move. He got to work full time and still gets his dream match with Undertaker.

If not.... yeah.

Sting would have had a relaxed schedule had he went to WWE though. He would've worked Mania and maybe another 2-3 PPVs if he wanted. At most he would have worked a Lesnar schedule but he could've been as limited as Taker. Working bigger crowds on a bigger stage for more money seems like a better deal than two TNA title reigns and a Joker impersonation gimmick. Still, he may yet have his cake and eat it.

I totally agree. What I meant by "going to WWE" was when WCW collapsed and he was afraid of getting buried. I don't think he would've had the pull to work that lighter load yet.

I sure hope he gets that fat, juicy WWE payday, though.

No. TNA made character adjustments to an iconic wrestler in the twilight years of his career. Sting let them. Sting is clearly an idiot.

Of course not. He gave up three years of bigger paydays, more exposure, and the opportunity to further pad his impressive legacy, just to go tread water for another three years.

Through no fault of his own, he was involved in arguably the worst match in TNA history at Victory Road 2011. That alone puts me on the side of him making the wrong call.

Fanbois who obsess about him being in the WWE don't realize how underwhelming it's going to be if/when he does show up in the WWE. Had he gone to the WWE back when WCW folded, it would have been awesome. Now, every year that passes, less and less people are going to give a fuck. There's a large percentage of the current WWE fanbase who won't even know who the fuck he is. It's been the way for the last 4 or 5 years.
