Dean Ambrose is turning heel... deal with it.

Believes in The Shield!
It's been so blatantly obvious for the past few months, basically since the day Shane and Stephanie started appearing on Television together. Whether the brand split was going to happen or not, the lines were drawn in the sand. Dean Ambrose is joining the Authority... or at least joining Stephanie. With the way they go back and forth with the banter like a married couple, with the constant reminder that he wasn't Roman Reigns, with the constant shots at his manhood... it's only blatantly obvious that Dean Ambrose and Stephanie McMahon have been growing closer and closer to a partnership. And with Triple H seemingly nowhere to be seen, and Seth Rollins now just keeping it "business only" with Stephanie, it's become more and more apparent that Dean is joining Stephanie.

And let's say he does go to Smackdown. Let's say he loses at Battleground, and the champion isn't dual branded. That's still and obvious set up for his heel turn. Why? Because he'll be bitter. Bitter that there isn't a chance to get back the World title he desperately deserves. Bitter that he (possibly) wasn't pinned to lose his title. Bitter that there isn't a world title to even compete for. Bitter that Roman Reigns got off with a slap on the wrist while he had to scrape and claw his way to the top. And bitter that he'll have to do it again.

And finally, keep in mind that Dean Ambrose said he'd do whatever it took to keep his title. And if that means aligning with Stephanie, who's to say he wouldn't do it?

"Someones getting Cheered... Turn them heel!"

No really, I feel like the WWE has been trying so hard to unnaturally relive the Attitude Era by making the talent that people cheer into heels and the boos into faces, and cash in on that 20 year old phenomena of people cheering "Cool heels", but like usual, the WWE's too late in this.

JBL yelling "He's so crazy, the lunatic is turning on his fans!" such cheap heat.

I do see where you're getting the signals, I just really hope WWE doesn't do this, Dean is legit over, especially with the pre-teens, and he's a face the older crowd can tolerate or even get behind.

This is just my opinion, but I hate Dean Ambrose as WWE Champion. He doesn't have the umph to generate any of my interest to invest in anything outside a Shield triple threat match. A Dean Ambrose one on one match is a guaranteed snack break for me, YAWN!! 95% of his one on one matches suck eggs. I don't mind the Dean Ambrose character, I like his mic skills....but his 1 vs 1? Turning the channel. I don't think a heel Ambrose could fix that.

Stephanie emasculates everyone. If everyone she belittled turned heel, we'd have a rogues gallery for a roster. I don't see how Stephanie doing it to Dean guarantees a heel turn, especially since she's criticized his reign the same way she did Roman or Daniel Bryan's reigns (YOU'RE A TERRIBLE CHAMPION!)

Plus turning him heel would be ridiculous given he's the most universally over babyface they have right now. If they turn Dean heel, are the fans expected to rally behind Captain Suspension Roman Reigns? Good luck with that.

Finally, I think you're reading too much into Dean's "whatever it takes" comment. This is the same guy that once promised to rip Seth Rollins' ear off and move his nose to the side his head in order to beat him. Dean makes crazy hyperbolic promises all of the time because he's a crazy hyperbolic person.

I don't know if you noticed, but he changed his in-ring style a bit this past few weeks. He actually wrestled more. You are not alone into thinking that Dean Ambrose leaves a lot to be desired in the ring, I agree with you, and to some extent, I believe, so does the management in WWE, which explained those recent adjustments that were made.

Ambrose can do a lot more in the ring, im pretty sure he suffer the usually directives from backstage to keep his matches very VERY basic regarding his offensive moveset.

If you notice, almots every "heel" has a better moveset than most of the "faces", and no, its not a coincidence.

That being said, Ambrose champion was an absolute logic outcome sooner or later, with all WWE has invested in the first run of the Shield (which was AMAZINGLY booked, at least to me) they clearly decided to have the 3 of them being BIG stars.

And i think wwe is trying to to make the same mistakes with ambrose they did with Roman. Remember there was a time, Roman was the most cheered member of the shield, Rollins always has great reactions because of his skills and his over the top heel persona, and Ambrose was the least "popular" during the shield run, until the splitted, then he started to became the big face to this day. And he is, GA loves Ambrose.

And no, im pretty sure they wont turn him heel, if someone will turn heel, its gonna be Roman which is an almost dead face project.

Ambrose is going to Raw. Period. But you know what else is going to happen on draft night? Seth Rollins gets drafted to Shane McMahon's Smackdown. You know why? Because they have to start getting ready for the "slow build" for HHH's storyline leading up to WrestleMania. There will probably be a Raw vs. Smackdown match at Survivor Series where the seeds will be planted. I'm sure HHH will include himself in the match, have a little dance with Seth, and the seeds will be planted. Maybe the match happens at the Royal Rumble so then HHH and "wrestle" Shane at WrestleMania? Either way, gotta make sure HHH's storyline is all set.

This is how I also feel, there's an 'X-factor' or 'umph' missing from him. His wrestling (which granted might be starting to diversify) is pretty meh and that makes it difficult for me to buy him defeating the likes of Reigns and Rollins as a face (as the win needs to be legitimate).

I think turning him heel might make a difference though. I think it suits his character better and he'd be more believable as champion retaining by any means necessary. I mean the way he won it was pretty heelish anyway I think. He'll obviously still get cheers and I don't think that's a problem... I think it would work as a direction for him.

To me Ambrose just has looked sluggish and stale in the ring. He busts his read end and I can respect that, but he just looks like he is in slow motion and gassed...and that "rebound" clothesline 8 times every match definitely doesn't have the impact it had back in the good ole days.

I really want to like the guy, but yeah I think he just needs a break or a change of some sort. I hope he continues to evolve his style and wrestle more as he has very recently.

That'd be smart. I'm hoping to never see Shane vs. HHH again. With HHH aging, I'd prefer he face younger talent like Rollins.

I don't think that Ambrose is turning heel anytime soon. Infact he doesn't need to.

The guy that needs to turn heel is Roman Reigns.

And I don't think that Ambrose would align with Stephanie anytime soon. It would be too illogical on Ambrose's part. He has always been an Anti-Authority guy so that defeats the purpose of his whole persona.

It's not Ambrose it's the pitiful booking behind this Shield Triple threat match. They should have made it Seth vs. Dean and have Roman beat the hell out of both of them causing a DQ and have the Triple threat at Slam where Ambrose silences the critics and wins by finally pinning Roman.

They're going to be on different brands by SummerSlam.

Maybe but you don't know that for sure. Rumour has it that Reigns suspension has thrown a wrench into the works. I was sure that Ambrose was going to SD and Rollins and Reigns would go to RAW. Not so sure anymore though.

On topic, I would love Ambrose to get serious and turn heel. Rollins to me is a natural face, Reigns too. Ambrose can play both sides of the coin and do it well. He can use the excuse that he's had to fight and claw his way to the top, and no one is going ot take the belt from him.

I think the story will see Steph refuse to draft Ambrose even though he is champ only to screw him at Battleground. Dean then either works his way to get to Raw or meets HHH at Mania to get his win back.

Or maybe he goes heel. There is no telling either way.

Naw. Logic says Roman should turn heel. This is the perfect time to finally get Roman over. They have been teasing it for months with his cocky speeches. This drug bust is the perfect opportunity to make Roman full blown heel and Rollins a face. That is what fans want. Roman is going to be booed out of the building at Battleground.

Ambrose will stay face and probably end up on smackdown.
