Has a pretty good dick.
Harry Potter will probably do better, but it isn't for sure. Has that been said yet? Because it's the right fucking answer not matter which your a bigger fan of.

Again, you are comparing 8 movies as a whole, to 2 movies as a whole and that doesn't paint an acurate portrait. If you look at individual movies, Batman walks out the winner.
It is not fair... Batman Begins -> $371,853,783 (Worldwide)
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone -> $976,475,550 (Worldwide)
The Dark Knight (one of the best movies ever) -> $1,001,921,825 (worldwide)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets -> $876,688,482 (Worldwide)
Let me make the math here...
DK = $1,373,775,608 - Pretty good
HP 1 & 2= $1,853,164,032 - A little better don't you think??
Bullshit
That quote is saying that I was the one saying it.
Also I was saying that nobody said that batman has no mass appeal and nobody cares about it which is still true. Jay was saying that doesn't have as much of that as Harry Potter. There is a big fucking difference.
I haven't even said which I think will do better, I was just pointing out the bullshit that you were saying earlier in the thread and you have just continued lying throughout.
Jay said that Batman had no world wide mass appeal compared to Potter. But when it comes to worldwide box office numbers, it shows that he does have world wide mass appeal
FSWWE said:Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Not at all. He said there was no mass appeal to Batman compared to Potter. Movie tickets have shown other wise.
Then I must have mucked up in my copy and pasting. My appologize if that is the case.
Jay said that Batman had no world wide mass appeal compared to Potter. But when it comes to worldwide box office numbers, it shows that he does have world wide mass appeal
To say that no one cares about Batman or that he doesn't have mass appeal is crazy.
So you didn't say that in 2011 Harry Potter reins supreme?
Disregard SNS,
I went back and you CLEARLY didn't say that. It was SSC.
I'm not sure where I was thinking you said that.
I didn't read this before my last post. I started posting, had to do something else, then came back and finished posting without reading through what I missed.
You seriously think WB is just gonna let the cash cow that is HP go after this movie? please, I fully expect WB's to pull a Lucas and release a series of prequels a few yrs. down the road, or something, the Harry Potter franchise is not going to end with DH pt.2
It brought more than attention to the series, it's the reason why even though BB is a far better overall film people just can't help but cream over TDK. His death turned that film into a fucking phenomenon, it was a good film, but not the "masterpiece" everyone makes it out to be.
I'm also not saying that I don't think the new one is going to draw big numbers, but over the last fifteen years, Harry Potter has been far more relevant than Batman, and there's no real denying that; this is the closing film and everyone was left on a cliffhanger after the last one. I wouldn't even consider myself a fan of the series; but it takes a blind man not to see just how popular Harry Potter has become.
Box office favors Potter, no matter how you slice it.
People who think The Dark Knight Rises will out gross this next part of the Harry Potter franchise are fucking stupid.
So, when it's all over with, and the stupid people were right, what happens? Do we receive an apology?
Wouldn't people be interePeople who think The Dark Knight Rises will out gross this next part of the Harry Potter franchise are fucking stupid. The Potter franchise is coming to an end, Batman is replacing The Joker with Bane & Selina Kyle, which is really going to make the most money? Harry Potter will be the biggest grossing film of the year, making over a billion dollars. The Dark Knight Rises will likely be the 2nd highest grossing film of 2012 behind The Hobbit.
Harry Potter is currently bigger, Batman is bigger overall.
Batman will make more here stateside, but Harry Potter will make more globally.
And comparing total gross of films without inflation is silly. It's real easy to make more money when average ticket price today is 7.50 a ticket, compared to 4.00 a ticket for some of the earlier Batman films.
Again it's all silly, because Warner Brothers is going to swim in the cash from these tent poles.
Batman will out preform Potter, AND Potter won't even come close to hitting a billion dollars.
The Harry Potter film is only going to appeal to those who have read the books or who are fans of the previous films. I'm not at all saying that that is a small group, but it pales in comparison to those who will see The Dark Knight Rises which is more accessable to the public than Deathly Hollows Part II is.
