Could the new heel R Truth work on SmackDown?

With the draft nearly upon us and the inevitable superstars destined to switch shows R Truth comes to mind

He surprisingly turned heel tonight (well unless you read Truth's twitter before the show) but where does he go from there if he remains on RAW? One could say a feud with Morrison is a good guess but wouldn't that just hurt Morrison more then it would help Truth? Morrison is in the WWE title match at Extreme Rules, do i expect him to win? not a chance! But it is good exposure being in the match with Cena and the Miz! a match that is likely to be the main event. So wouldn't Morrison following up this match with a feud with Truth be a step down?

So why not send Truth to the blue show? he has alot of potential feuds, with Mysterio, Big show, Kane, Kingston ETC since the draft hasn't even happened yet we dont know what other faces might also end up on Smackdown for a heel Truth to feud with

So do you all agree with me on this? Or would you rather see him stay on RAW? who do you want to see him feud with? any titles you want to see him chase or win?

I think him moving to SmackDown wouldn't be the best idea, however this is moreso down to my personal opinion on him.

I would much rather see Rhodes/A returning Ziggler and Del Rio be the top heels on SmackDown, simply becuase i find them more entertaining.

I think what is going to happen, is what you said, JoMo will obviously lose in the E.R match, and will feud with Truth.

If he were to go to Smackdown, i just hope he doesn't end up taking the push that Cody Rhodes looks like he is getting.

Maybe, but I feel like a freshly turned heel, if you want him to be a main guy, needs to feud with a mega over babyface. Perhaps with a guy like Mysterio. Not sure, we just got a glimpse at Truth tonight. lets see where they go with it next week.

Personally, I'd have him screw Morrison out of the title at ER and then you have a Morrison/Truth feud where you put Truth over as a ruthless bastard and Morrison as a tough guy. At SummerSlam you have Truth vs Cena and Morrison vs Miz.

Let him finish his feud with The Miz, they both have a good style and it might work. If not, move him over to smackdown after the draft and see how it goes with another face he can feud with or even a Heel if he becomes an inbetweener.

It's possible but I can also see him feud with John Cena or John Morrison. Plus the whole smoking angle and others, if they user other non-PG heat, probably will suit better on the USA Network.

Besides its now heels Smackdown lacks right now. It's faces besides Mysterio and Christian there aren't a lot of faces that be sustainable headliners.

Smackdown is already dominated by heels. Why send another heel there. Smackdown is in dire need for faces that can actually challenge for the top title. They have just lost a major face in Edge, so bringing in R-Truth really isnt the best move.

I would like to see R Truth get drafted to smackdown, the show is in need of mid carders and heels. In fact, they are in shortage of superstars. He could feud with kofi kingston, team with cody rhodes, or nearly anything else. Actually, i would like to see truth and rhodes team together they could be great.

Smackdown has too many heels at the moment and depending on the results of the draft, that may or may not change. Right now, Smackdown needs faces in order to balance out their roster. Personally, I think Truth has the potential to become RAW's top heel. It looks like WWE has big plans for him (despite the fact that Truth isn't in the main event of Extreme Rules as of now) and is doing everything to make the fans pay more attention to him. I'm assuming that Cena, Morrison, and Miz are staying on RAW (although, past drafts have proven that in fact no one is safe) so if that's the case, I'd love to see Truth stay on RAW and feud with these guys particularly Cena and Morrison and actually go over them.

Sure! R-Truth's new heel character might be better off on Smackdown honestly. He would have more faces to work with and could make a potential Intercontinental Champion after Barrett's reign is over. There are more heels on Raw and a feud with Sheamus or even Morrison just doesn't seem as good at the moment as moving to Smackdown in a brand new heel status. That would open up more opportunities for Truth because he could go after all sorts of face characters and feud for the IC title which he has not held yet. Whereas on Raw he'd basically be stuck with a Morrison feud which would keep Morrison out of the main event, or trying to get Sheamus' US title. Smackdown sounds better to me and that's the Truth.
