He just mentioned that tonight the entire arena was to be packed while they furthered the investigation of his character, Mr. McMahon. He than just mentioned that in reality, Chris Benoit and his family has passed away. He got choked up and had a tear or two talking about it. He said tonight would be a 3 hour tribute to Benoit.

Only thing that puzzles me is why the Arena is empty unlike other tribute shows they usually have everyone there and do some non story related wrestling.

Vince is not a dick. Mr mcmahon the character is a dick. Vince did the right thing there.

He spoke about how the raw was supposed to be filled with fans and the story was supposed to be about the death of his character but chris passed away and he and his wife and son were found dead in their home today and that hell be greatly missed and then they showed a clip of him with kid pictures and leading up to wmXX

Kudos to Vince for doing the right thing. I didnt like the McMahon death storyline, but at least its over and been scrapped now, but a shame in these circumstances, that we're now mourning the loss of such a wrestling legend.

Yeah the arena s empty but they just lost a hell of a lot of money by still running the show. They are getting no money tonight and thy are still running the show for Chris.

Tonight's RAW live event has been cancelled and fans in Corpus Christi have been sent home. Wrestlers and WWE staff are being allowed to leave the building to mourn the passing of Chris Benoit.

The WWE wrestlers and staff were gathered together late this afternoon and were told the tragic news that Chris Benoit, his wife Nance, and his son Daniel were all found dead today in their home. We can confirm that they were NOT shot to death as local papers are reporting that.

Tonight's RAW will now be presented as a tribute to Chris Benoit and his family.

Something smells fishy to me about how they died. It is strange that he rushed home yesterday because of a family emergency. What could have happened yesterday that would lead to such events today? I can only expect the worse.

DId Banoit have 2 kids? I saw two kids when they were showing the WM20 clip, but apparently he, his wife, and one son (if he did have two) died. If that's the case then this sucks even more because that kids whole family is gone.
