You don't cough up blood from CarbonMonoxide poisioning, you pass out and gently die. If indeed they were coughing up blood "No confirmed reports on that." It would've been something more serious, like internal injuries.

we dont know how he died. it could be murder. it could be suicide. it could be carbon monoxide poisoning. all we know is that benoit is dead. it wasnt a shooting. that the WWE alerted the police. that is all we know.

I am going out on a limb here, but I am willing to bet it was NOT accidental carbon monoxide poisoning. I mean, come on. That is just too coincidental. He rushed home last night for a family emergency, then today they whole family is dead?? No way. Something happened. Someone did something. Murder-suicide maybe. Third-party murderer. But no way was this an accident.

does anyone think that he may of murdered the family
and then turned on himself?

Even though its a possibility... This is not the time to bring something like this up sir. Please dont think of these things. wait until more information is confirmed before jumping to such terrible conclusions

no this is real, no one is at raw and the whole show is a tribute special, they have to stop the vince is dead storyline now.

He may have poisoned his wife and son and then commited suicide? who knows what goes on in his life? we dont....thats for sure!

The beginning of RAW Vince made a point to say they died in their "new" home in Atlanta. There were reports I read on a random site saying he called saying his wife and son were spitting up blood. Also, there were reports saying that gunshot wounds were not the cause of death. So that tells me with all 3 stories...means a carbon monoxide death. I'm not 100% positive...but I'm pretty sure.

WOW! 40 years old, i cant believe this. makes how he was being treated in wwe seem so pity now, i cant believe this. :(

greatest technician in wrestling today, cant believe he's gone

RIP chris, very sad time, can't believe it

RIP Benoit

I could only hope they show The Owen Hart Tribute Match between Benoit v. Bret Hart match I know Bret Hart has had to of heard the bad news. I can always remember Bret saying no one could do the Sharp Shooter Correct except Beniot, and if he were to come back to wrestling he would only really want to wrestle Benoit. Im so sad that the two Major most recent deaths in the WWE(F) haver been best friends Eddie and Chris. RIP!! You will always live forever in the hearts of the WWE(F) Fans!!!!

Come on... he rushed home for a family emergency then they all end up dead?? What, they all died, he rushed home, then he died? Come on. There was some foul play. I'm not pointing fingers, but this reeks of foul play.

He called from home saying he couldn't make it to the Pay Per View because his wife and son were spitting up blood. That's all I know. He may have rushed home the day earlier. The fact of the matter is...you sleep with carbon monoxide floating around all night...you won't be waking up.

OK, hello, did you not read what I wrote earlier? What "random site" did you find that he called? We just read WWE alerted police that they didn't know where Chris was. And again, Carbon Monoxide poisioning doesn't make you cough up blood. It may have been CM poisioning but that's not going to make them cough blood.

Chris Benoit was 40, and I'm still in shock and depressed that we lost a VERY good wrestler.

I very rarely post on here at all...but like everyone else on here I am sure, I was absolutely shocked to turn on RAW tonight and see the horrible news about the passing of Chris Benoit, and two other members of his family.

Of course we all hope that no foul play was involved here, and hopefully I guess it would be better if it was an accident, but truthfull there is absolutely no good news that can come from this.

I will remember Benoit as most of us do, a tireless worker who always brought his 'A' game to any show he performed at...his work ethic was legendary, and his precision in the ring is nearly unmatched by anyone in the history of wrestling entertainment.

All I know for sure is that this is one of the darkest days I can ever remember for professional wrestling...Benoit will be missed by everyone.

Ok, hello, did you not read what I wrote?? I said I'm not 100% sure, I'm putting the pieces together like everyone else. It does sound a little fishy but I put 3 things I heard from 3 DIFFERENT sources and they seem to all fit. So I am thinking that right now.

And if he had to rush home for some sort of medical emergency, like his family was suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, they would have either been dead or totally fine by the time he got there. They'd be dead, because they were overcome, they'd be fine because they realized something was up and got treatment. Either way, he wouldn't have gotten home hours later and ALSO died from the same thing. Somethings up...

We'll see. The guy is on the road 7 days a week, 365 days a year...I don't see who he could have had a grudge with in the "new" Atlanta area where he just moved into that would want to kill him without using bullets. Doesn't make sense.

Only believe 1/2 of what you read and none of what you hear. Any good journalist will tell you that. I've been digging around and I've seen your "couging blood" rumor on a few places yes, but very very unreliable. I've been scanning AP and other newspapers and live feeds all over the country have seen nothing about any blood. I'm just saying, we don't need to be putting fuel to the rumor fire. If I find any new developments I'll post.

in my opinion the police are only investigating it as a homocide because they dont have a clue (yet) what happened.

Listen, this is a message board. This isn't the wall street journal. Nobody here knows what happened. The whole point of a message board is to post our thoughts and concerns. This is what I think happened. I heard the coughing up blood scenario AND it seems to fit with the whole "new" home thing AND the fact that fire arms werent used....you have to use clues. I am.

I think it was Carbon Monoxide Poisioning. They said that his family was spitting up blood and thats why he had to rush home and miss Vengeance. I think they all inhaled it and since it's oderless, colorless, and tasteless....they really didn't have a chance. It's gonna be so hard to watch wwe again.

Just think....Him and Eddie are now wrestling again, you know?
