The thing is, I wasn't doing what you said I was. You said I was playing mod and telling people to stop. I wasn't. I asked them if there was any real point in continuing on with all this. There's a difference. I've said that several times now, yet you don't seem to be able to comprehend it.

So Norcal... people take things far too seriously. The fact is, I have no problem with a debate on religion, God and his existence, evolution, but educated debate and the realms of God tend to go towards 'Go fuck yourself' very quickly. Hardly inspired debating points

Luther siad it was interesting. there are very few "oh just go fuck yourself" lines in this entire thread. its actually a TON of thought out points and counter points, just with flameyness, and some menical whackjob ranting. hardly te primitive thing you have made it out to be. in fact I dont think a religion debate/argument could be successfully held ANYWERE but in here, due to the emotional nature of ther subject matter. its better this way

Hmmm...I thought maybe he'd drop it after the "Mod Fantasy Camp" line...
The problem with that theory, though, Norcal, is when you allow emotion to take over your debate, it just becomes a flame war. For example: CCS was trying to use facts until he got angry, then it became, "You're going to Hell.".
I honestly was not trying to be a mod. Didn't cross my mind once.

CCS used zero facts at any time during this entire thing. and it shouldnt matter. if you cant contain yourself, then dont engage in the conversation. there is no longer such a thing as "flame baiting". conduct yourself in whatever manner it is within the debate. if you dont like the heat, stay out of the kitchen. and especially dont be the person to bring the meal to be cooke inside of said kitchen

And as for 'maniacal whackjob'... given I can guarantee that all his points are justifiable based on the Bible, I don't feel it's fair to label someone as a whackjob. Had he said 'God lives in a spaceshape and has commanded us to kill ourselves', then maybe.
