Classic Christian doctrine would assert that there is nothing we can rightly "do" or even perhaps "believe" in order to attain salvation. It is, however, only by the grace of God and the atonement of Jesus Christ that our sins are forgiven and we are reconciled with the Father.

It is something offered...not earned. If so, we'd all be screwed because we can't NOT sin. Right now, i'm just sitting here. But I'm probably sinning.

Its better to have IDEAS, than beliefs, you can easily change an idea if its proven wrong, or you gain a different perspective on it. changing a belief is a whole lot harder.
