Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day

I actually hate milk. All I pour on these bowls is hot sauce. It's basically the ingredients of a breakfast burrito in a bowl that you buy from Wal-Mart for like a dollar, then you microwave it and it's ready. Cheap and easy breakfast that tastes great.

Does it not give you really bad shits eating $1 microwave meals for breakfast every day?

I prolly shoulda said torta since it's technically a sandwich.

So basically it's a fucking large lemon made of bread.

Is this still a breakfast thread? Because I just ate some leftovers for breakfast of the shrimp and vegetable burrito I had for dinner yesterday. Was very nice both times.

Stuff like that always tastes better the morning after. And yes, this always has been and always shall be, first and foremost, a breakfast thread, despite deviations into Dagger's digestion.

I fried up some mushrooms, asparegus, cherry tomatoes and made some sauce using a quarter veg stock cube and a little chilli pesto. Spread that on some buttered toast.

Breakfast of the year for me.

I have no time in the mornings to make a nice meal. I could always try waking up earlier, but who wants to do that...

So I'm going to get some muscle mass/weight gain formula soon to try and convert some flab into power. Any suggestions? Advice? Horror stories?

Cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese for me today. It's like desert for breakfast.

This is when you call in the NorCal.

When gaining weight I added an egg or two to every meal... Grew sick of eggs pretty quick. That can be both a suggestion and a horror story. Also, I would advise you not to do that if you like eggs.

Weight gain formula is less fun than actually eating more food. One trick is to blend everything into a drink. And also bring a regular drink to wash that down. Just because its steak, potato and gravy juice, doesnt mean it will leave you refreshed.

Had a breakfast casserole made from bisquick, eggs, cheese, sausage, and onion. And of course I had seconds.

I live in Lancashire, fucking eggs everywhere.

Is bisquick like a meaty Nesquik?

Gulp those babies down, hulk hogan style. Instant protien.

Homemade spicy chips ('Fries' for those of you on the wrong side of the world) for breakfast. Fried up some baby sweetcorn, broccoli, mushrooms, asparagus and tomatoes to go on top. Delish.

Only had half an hour before I had to set off to work today so I cooked the quickest thing possible: baked beans and scrambled egg on toast.

Baked beans on toast is the one English food that I don't understand at all. I think its because here in States our baked beans are totally different. We would never eat them for breakfast either.

My god, I could one more baked bean than a pig. I've heard that you treat beans differently over there, mixing it up with rice and such. They're a good, quick breakfast component though; slow-releasing energy and plenty of fibre.

Egg and cheese on an everything bagel with a peach snapple. A rare treat for when I'm in New Jersey. Won't have another for months most likely.

Can't believe it took me almost 8 months to start reading this thread.

I have been struggling with existential quandaries lately. Meaning of life, origins of the universe, afterlife, that kind of stuff. Sometimes I find it painful and it drags me in to a sense of anxiety that takes me a minute or two to fight off. Usually I just start thinking about just enjoying my life and my kids and that snaps me out of it.

However, going forward I realize the answer to these questions is simple: poppy seed, sesame seed, garlic, onion and salt. Otherwise, they couldn't call it an Everything Bagel. Thank you for the inspiration JGlass. I am now at peace with the universe.

I've been eating good old fashioned porridge for breakfast this last week or so.

Just eaten plain or do you add any flavours, sugar etc??

I tried porridge once, the instructions on the bag made it waay too watery though, never went back.
