Bound for Glory LD

Looking at the roster right now, I don't see many combinations that make a lot of sense.
A traditional wrestling rule is that foreign people are magnetically attracted to other foreign people, so it's very possible that they might bring someone else in from Japan to work with Hamada (here's hoping, that sounds fantastic to me).

I don't think Daffney or Alissa work as part of a tag team, so they're quite limited with what they can do.

Actually, Daffney is doing nothing on TV expect be a valet... so, this could be a chance to sign MsChif from SHIMMER and team the girls up to bring the Scream Queens to TNA. If Kim didn't leave, her and Hamada would have been an excellent team.

Hamada teaming with another wrestler from Japan would be epic.

I don't think Daffney, Alissa, or Hamada or teaming with anyone, anytime soon. They have other stuff going on that's better.

MsChif would be killed on TV. She's better off in SHIMMER.

And Kim/Hamada works if people don't know Gail is Korean...But hey, they don't know Sarita is Canadian...

Daffney and MsChif sounds bloody good actually.

Who says they have to use a single move? They could win via Double Team Finisher and do it sneakishly as they are best at heels.

I have to say, TNA would probably want Sara Del Rey soon as well. She can work just about anything.

TBK is backstage...Are his 90 days up? I could see him making the Ultimate X a 6-man match...

Him v. Red would be way too awesome to not love...

Then again, MsChif and Del Ray have always looked like very logical acquisitions, and TNA hasn't gone after them yet (or if they have then they didn't want to come).

Can we avoid backstage arrivals please? I'm trying to maintain a total media blackout during the build to the show... just in case RVD shows up carrying a pair of wrestling boots. :D

MsChif has been doing pretty amazing in the indys. Probably figures being the best indy wrestler is better than an "OK" TV wrestler...

True... I don't imagine that there's much money in female indy wrestling, but then I don't think TNA pays most of its talent very much either.

Sorry. I'll keep mum then. I'll remember for the future also.

And, if RVD showed up, there's no way I could contain my marking out.

It's all politics :lmao: All of the current KOs are happy she's not kicking their asses anymore...

Although now I think about it, I think TNA allow a lot of their talent to work indy dates as long as they aren't on DVDs. Kong certainly can, although as I understand it she's got a rather better contract deal than a lot of the guys.

MsChif makes most of her money off SHIMMER DVDs I'd assume.

It's so refreshing to WANNA see a TNA PPV. My Football Blues will hopefully not be fu**ed up by what SHOULD be a good-very good PPV. Does anyone else think it would be a total cluster fu** for B4G to not at least be really good? Pre show also has a real good tag match set up. I remember the 1st B4G "forgot the match" but it was as good as anything on the PPV.

I'm hardly an expert, but I' cant imagine a promotion the size of shimmer is giving it's talent a percentage of merchandise sales. She'll be on a simple PPA contract... at least, that's what Total Extreme Wrestling 2008 has taught me.

I don't get into the backstage stuff. I'd think it'd only be worth it for her to show up on taped shows. Otherwise, she'd just be wrestling a match a month for them.

I bet the money and exposure are both better in TNA, but her chances are better in SHIMMER.

Four was X-Division match right?
Certainly better than Eric Young and Sojo Bolt against the lesser part of Rock n Rave.

EDIT: Although personally I thought Rock 'n Rave were really good, and that Lance Hoyt could have been made into a star.

You might be right, I do know it was a X-Division Match of sorts. I remember the disappointment that was Joe vs Liger, but it was solid good all around. As far as tonight goes as long as Sting and Angle both job I should be happy.

I was extremely disappointed with the generic let down that was Bound for Glory 2008. Quite a few good matches now that I look back on it (and Joe delivering that flying dropkick down a goddam flight of stairs still ranks as one of my favourite spots) but it simply didn't feel special.

TNA really seems to have learned from that show, since tonight really feels like their Wrestlemania.
