Jeeez how do you guys write so much for one show ? 2000 words a match is what I would write for a college essay.

That's for a mid card PPV match (2,000 words), for a match on RAW/Smackdown most people do 700 or something around that. When you get writing it flows and you get these high numbers.

Yeah this has to be the best promo I have ever written. It has such a great feel to it and the stuff makes great sense. Lots of history is spoken about and then we get to the good stuff.

I think you are missing the point of Book This, my friend. You started in here by asking if anybody would write your ideas as a BT, err, OK. Nobody in their right mind is going to write a show when their own ideas aren't in it. What would be the point? So you then asked if people would write your matches. You clearly don't want to put much detail into your BT and that is your choice but Proph is spot on when he says that it won't be detailed enough at 1-2000 words. It won't be, full stop. You are claiming that you don't have time to write more, you're claiming that you've not got time to write reviews. Well, in that case, don't expect anybody to review or comment or be interested in your BT. People won't review someone that never reviews them and they won't be interested in a BT that takes 1500 word shows and splits them over 2/3 posts. I took a look at it, mate, if you're not going to follow the constructive criticism about adding some detail (which means your show has to be longer) then what is the point of actually posting it?
Also, calling those of us who do write 5000+ words for a show as people who don't have a life, that isn't going to win you many friends either. If you don't wanna do your BT properly, don't do it properly. By all means, continue to post it. It'll not take long for people to work out that it is easier to ignore it. I think that you have got it all wrong about what you think BT is, mate. I'm not meaning to be nasty with this, it's simply the way it has to be. If you don't like it, I'm afraid BT is not for you!

Am having a little break again, like sometimes you need to, but should get SMACKDOWN up soon. Have got six weeks off now (hahahaha!) so am aiming to hit Vengeance ASAP. Will get round to reading Prophet's new show and Peep/Theo's PPV when I can!

How long is this break? I could so over take you in the views (well probably not, I'm still going for the 7,000 mark). And thanks for backing me up, this guy has no idea what this section is about. And I have 3 matches left for RAW. To be honest it's not about the matches this week. The show is about 2 segments and that is the show. Just like the fallout from MITB was about Cena and that was it, this show is about Jericho cutting a promo and one huge promo that goes down with Triple H. That's the way I feel about the show anyway. Don't expect spectacle matches from this RAW though.
I don't know about the break. You're not catching me though, squire.
If you're not going to do 5* matches, Proph, I'm not reading it. You need to put in much more detail, lose the life man!

If you write 2000 words, mate, the comments you're going to get are going to be about detail. Nailed on. And you must hardly ever be energetic because I haven't seen a review yet. Nobody is saying you must post 5000+ word shows, post what you want but Proph is dead right that people will either (a) tell you that there isn't enough detail or (b) won't read it.
If you don't have much time, I have to wonder why you are trying to post the shows as quick as you are. Why not take longer to write each show? You don't have to spend a whole day typing - I don't. I type a bit a day usually when I'm writing a show. I find that writing a match and a promo a day means I have a show every 4-5 days. Sometimes I don't write at all in a day. You shouldn't be trying to write to a schedule, just when you feel it.
The reason that Da Prophet is one of the top writers here on BT is because he listens to other people nitpicking at his shows. I have to nitpick on his shows now because they are so good. At first, they weren't anywhere near as good as they are now. But he listened, he didn't take the criticism as anybody being nasty, he took it on board and improved his writing. If you are on BT, I'm assuming you want to get better and you want people to read your shows? You need people like Prophet, Peep, Theo, TSG and me giving you constructive criticism. Then you can get better.
Comments like the one I've bolded are what will annoy people. It annoys me. You're making out that those of us that write more haven't got a life. I think you will find that you are very wrong. I write my BT because it gives me chance to 'take a break' from other things when I'm on the computer. I do it when I feel like it. If I stop enjoying it, I'll take a break. If I never enjoy it, I'll disappear and not write it. My show being as detailed as it is doesn't mean I haven't got a life and you have. It just means that I use the time I give it better.
Most newbies in BT are happy to take the criticism because it makes them better writers. You're the first I've seen to take issue with it and I just don't understand it.
