Thoughts on the 'Ratings Thread' I've posted?

The two top guys have some big ratings... this is due to the quality of their outputs, but also the other work put in such as the previews posts. These get views as well that bump those views, so to all BTers to bump your ratings look at marketing peices to bring up your views and of course keep your shows strong!

Good point. I always try to stagger my preview post so that it appears a few days before my TV/PPV post. Not done to cynically boost my 'ratings' but to keep people interested so they know the show is coming. I'd start posting previews if you're not already. It also makes your show easy to pick up if your reader is new to it. For example, a new reader to my thread doesn't want to wade through 160+ posts at first - a quick 'recap' via a preview helps them understand it and they can pick up the show where it is. If they like, they'll go back and read the rest later!

If you get a show reviewed people will indeed, "tune in" to read what is said about the show..

So I finally started my post draft show. Nothing in depth, just a backstage segment that I've head in my head for awhile and had to get it on paper before I forgot. May dabble some more before hitting the sack.

Right, those of you who haven't joined in the tournament. Get a match from your BT copied and pasted into the thread now. I've chosen my Triple H vs. Sheamus match, I know for a fact that Proph, Jam and Peep have matches that could be entered.

I'm gonna do my best to get my next show up as quick as possible, but I have no idea when that will be. My laptop fell off the arm of my chair and now the screen is cracked and nearly destroyed. I can still see things for the most part, only bothersome thing is the black streak that goes about halfway down the screen that blocks off anything behind it. However after I get my next show in I'm thinking about sending it in for repairs and who knows how long that will take to get done.

The latest episode of TNA- Wrestling Matters is now available. Angle returns after his defeat at the hands of the Fallen Angel at Lockdown. Morgan gets another "opportunity" from Jeff Jarrett to get his chance at the World Championship. The Unbreakable 3 are scheduled to appear and to continue to shake up TNA....

All this and more only on TNA-Wrestling Matters, where wrestling matters, again!

Sorry guys, I probably won't be able to get the tournament match in it stinks I really; really wanted to. I'll probably post the match in the showcase section if there's not another round.

Also, Arcade: here's a tip. If you don't have an actual computer to post your shows on, than please don't post shows yet. For one, it's spam, because you have 41 posts with only 3 shows, and each post is maybe 200 words each. Even though a good amount of the mods don't really care/ pay much attention to this section (no offense no matter if you do or don't), but if you read the rules than it's clearly spam. Also, no one is going to review that. I'm really sorry; I try to be as nice as I can, but no one will review that. You really need an actual computer to post in this section, so if you're getting one soon, than just wait to post shows, and if you're not, than I'm truthfully sorry, because I love reading anyone's shows as much as the next guy, as I follow pretty much every active/ semi active fed in this section, but just leave your fed alone. Nobody's going to go through 2 whole pages of shows, just to read 400 word matches and 2 line promos. I'm trying to help; not be mean, but just don't post a show until you get a computer. Also, when you do, wait a few days to post shows, because not everyone logs on here every day, and as Proph or GCB (not sure; sorry guys) said that you don't want people to catch up with your shows, and you want everyone to be caught up, and waiting for you to post your next show. I really, honestly; truthfully don't mean to be mean, but stop posting shows until you get an actual computer; I'm sorry.

I didn't count haha; I just guessed, and I was talking matches if we're on the same page. I know I have to use the molble (android I think) version as well, and it's really not that great. Stay around though, you seem like a nice guy, and once you get a computer, I'm looking forward to reading your shows.

Probably so. Usually when I post on my phone sometimes a message that says "Error connection to server lost" It pretty much agrrivates me and I end up having to type the whole part again, plus I type way faster on a computer than a phone.

I am at Vengeance in December 2010, have up to WrestleMania planned out with PPV results and any title changes or major stories. I like this way of planning as I know what I am working towards. I know who to push, when to push and what events I need to sow seeds for. Shorter term, I plan PPV to PPV - when Vengeance is posted, I'll think about how I'm going to get to the Rumble in more detail although I already know the matches and winners when I get there. My thread turns 1 year old in the next couple of days. Everybody grab a party hat! It's funny to me how my thread turns 1, but I have been on and off with it since the beginning. Things like Beast getting sick and leaving, the joint project and my own boredom with the project have caused myself to take breaks. I wonder if I'll be able to go 2012 without dropping the thread for over a month? I doubt it.

Some interesting stories have come from my thread since it has started. Well they may not be stories but more like useless trivia.

I can't stand Christian at all. Respect him as a wrestler and all that but he doesn't appeal to me. I dropped him from my thread for that reason. And I stand by my statement that I'll never make Christian a world champion.

I hated writing the Survivor Series tag match.

I have become ten times better since the thread started a year ago. Look at the first show and then my last Smackdown. It's amazing to see the difference between the two. Plus the standard of work has risen around these parts.
