Book This! - General Discussion

Review for Sword and predics for Best are up. Proph, I will get you one later. Hope to see one in return later guys ;) Anyone else want a review?

Thanks Peep for the review, really appreciate it seemed like you enjoyed the show even though you're not a TNA fan.. and that has been my intention. I believe that TNA has the superior roster but its booking is terrible. I would to do some simple booking babys vs heels push the guys that deserve it and make TNA a product that WWE fans could read and say hey TNA rules...

Thanks Best (and the Cock Shaped Pillow) and GLOBAL ICON for the reviews, will get them back to you soon when you post the next shows. Have SMACKDOWN written in a recap form, I can't keep posting the monster shows I am doing if I am to get the BT moving quicker. So SMACKDOWN is going in recap form with less in the matches for now.

Looking forward to seeing what you put up man. I know what you mean by it's hard to keep going with the monster size shows. They do pay off though. We saw how much better Peep is when he puts up the show in full.

I don't like doing it but it keeps things moving. SMACKDOWN is now posted and I think that SMACKDOWN is more about the major storyline development than the actual matches. Most of the matches were there to 'develop' stories this time with a few unclean finishes. So whilst I don't like posting a show that I am not 100% happy with the detail, I am happy that I am now at Vengeance. Hoping to post the PPV next weekend.

I get what you're saying. I myself hate posting shows that I'm not 100% pleased with. Got to say that your shows have been really good as of late GCB. I'm enjoying the Smackdown brand more then RAW though. Smackdown seems to be getting a new life with Punk as the champion. Hopefully Punk gets a victory at Vengeance to make his reign one of decent length.

Smackdown is 1/4 done. Not much time to write it this week.

If my Raw doesn't get posted this week, expect it to be posted in the same format Summerslam was posted in this coming Saturday.

I am thinking of going back and finding single storylines I was planning to use in other promotions I had planned, and playing them out in either a thread I can make in the main section or in the Showcase thread here in the Lounge. I think it might be a good way to provide people with something new and interesting, while keeping my interest up in this section due to my busy schedule killing any time I have to work on CWF.

I went through some of my old notebooks from ten years ago which was fun.

I found a story I wrote about ten years ago where WCW/WWF had merged and called it WCWF...

I had all the dream matches in the first few ppvs such as Sting/Taker, Berg/Austin, Michaels/RVD, Hart/Vince etc etc.. and then after I did that I took the story with Vince saying he wanted to destroy the company and introduced his new team. Brock Lesnar, Sean O'Haire and Leviathan (Batista) and had them try and take out all the other superstars in like a 3 man Nexus... the writing was pretty poor but the story I was trying to write was pretty cool. Lesnar's main victim was Hart because of the Vince/Hart feud.

I guess there was just so many stars back then due to having two major companies... fun times.

I have my first Book This! project sorted out. It is an old project of mine that didn't get off the ground but one I am still very interested in and I actually have most of the first show written. Plus I wanna use this as a way to test the waters around here on my writing style etc, so keep your eyes peeled people it should be up rather soon....
