None of the above is the correct answer. Subway, Blimpies, Quiznos, D'Angelos... I've had subs from all of them, and they all suck. The bread is incredibly over hyped, the meat tastes like it's 90% additives, the cheese is made of cow piss, and they overload on other toppings and dressings to try to cover up the fact their shit sucks.
Wawa would be the only one of these places that even passes for a halfway decent sandwich, but they're really not that much better than anywhere else. Still, you can't beat those gnarly computers you order on. QuickCheck has the same thing, but I think that might be a more local Northern Jersey thing.
If you want a real sandwich, go exploring around your town for a local deli/sub shop/pizza place. I can think of four different places in my tiny town alone that I would go to before Blimpies, Subway, or Quiznos. And when I'm in Boston I'm surrounded by places that make much better subs than the chain stores. It only costs a buck or two more to get an upgrade that will save your mouth the humiliation of eating fast food sandwiches and your digestive system the struggle to find something worth absorbing from the experience.
I'm sorry if I have offended anyone with my radical views, but I take my sandwiches very seriously. No joke.
