Getting Noticed By Management
I am a huge Punk fan but I won't be bias
Before I get into the main topic lets hit the whole "Walkout":

I believe its a work from day one
Punk is obsessed with twitter and has been silent since
All of his friends have said nothing and if he was truly at his breaking point he would of dish some dirt by now to them
Punk is very outspoken he would of done an interview of some sort of his explanation of why he quit
If this is a work its the greatest work ever
In the end I think this was a good way to give his body some rest
Just imagine at WM the dome will come unglued when he makes an appearance
Loudest pop of the night
I will not be disappointed if he doesn't show up
Two important dates if he decides to show up and its not WM then the night after and the build up to SSlam
If he doesn't show up to those either he's most likely done with wrestling

I get the fact of why some people don't like Punk or most importantly the action of Phil Brooks
His attitude at times is shitty
He has said that numerous times that he's difficult to deal with
At least with Punk he doesn't use a religion to say he's different when he's still the same shitty politician like HBK
Punk has always thought he will get what he believes he deserves from creative or he won't stick around
That has happened in other promotions he has been a part of

No denying he makes mistakes in the ring
No more than what UT and Lesnar have
He doesn't act like a MMA badass
He has graduated from a Gracie Academy in LA
It a legit school where he graduated at the top of the class against aspiring MMA fighters

Cm Punk sucks.

Always hated that little puke.

His shoot promo is extremely overrated.

Maybe this is just me but I'm not a fan of @$$holes. Not a fan of The Kliq (any one of them and never was, although at one point I liked Hall and Kev a little bit), not a fan of Hogan, etc.

Cm punk is one of those @$$holes.

Seriously how in the helll can anyone respect a guy who became a star by using backstage politics.

He basically said give me the WWE title or I'm leaving.

That's the problem with cm punk and his fanboys, they act like there's nobody in the world besides him.

Also, I just realized something with his walk out. His fanboys will always be on his n-ts, doesn't matter what he does.

He can kill their own family and they'll still sing his praises.

I agree with you at times his attitude sucks
As far as backstage politics from reports over the last few years there are no signs of him playing politics
I am a fan of SCSA but didn't agree when he quit
If this isn't a work I don't support Punk walking out on the company
I am also a HBK fan but hes one of the biggest pricks
I hate the fact how HBK numerous times has said hes a changed man after he found god and HBK is the same asshole in 2014 as he was in 1992

HBK isn't the same prick he used to be. He wouldn't have done half the thing he did if he was. HBK was huge in his return and he didn't have to lose the matches he did. He clearly has changed a bit because HBK of 96-98 wouldn't have said that he didn't want the WWE championship. It just wouldn't have happened. His ego seems to have stifled at least a bit.

That's because his old pals Hall, Nash and Waltman weren't there to cover up for his asss.

And he also became a father.

Let's not forget what he did at Summerslam 2005 as well. Acted like a true Christian.

That's because his old pals Hall, Nash and Waltman weren't there to cover up for his asss.

Yeah He had Triple H who was bigger than all of them was.

And he also became a father.
So you're saying he did change, thanks for that.

Let's not forget what he did at Summerslam 2005 as well. Acted like a true Christian.
You mean the match Hogan said he didn't see anything wrong with? And it is Hogan, he's always so shy about his feelings. Plus many within the WWE said it was one of Hogan's best matches. I don't see the problem.

I don't dislike CM Punk. I think he is a terrific performer capable of excellent matches, promos, and acting. But if you want to know certain things I have not liked about him here goes.

- not every promo he does is likeable
- not every match he does is likeable
- not every acting scene he does is likeable
- his top rope elbow sometimes sucks
- the GTS doesn't always look good
- his tattoos are irritating
- he once punched a fan
- he looked like a douche when that Michelle Beadle stuff went down
- the New Nexus was weak
- I could care less that he is straight edge

Why should I dislike CM Punk? I don't. Yes, Punk's in-ring work was somewhat lacking in 2013 after his fued with Brock Lesnar and he was put into pointless fueds with Ryback/Curtis Axel etc but the guy had a good run 2011 onwards. I liked his 2012 heel run the most.

And if you hate Punk for walking-out, hate Austin for doing the same as well... And who knows, if all this is a work or not.

I Choose attitude, CM Punk sounds like a douche for the way he treated his fans and other peoples around him.. He once told a Fan of his'' who respected him, to kill them-self simply for disagreeing with him on not supporting Gay Marriage, and Remember that time he PUNCH a Fan live in TV!

Here are some other things that bothers me about Punk

1. He's Very atheistic and liberal, strongly dislikes Christians

2. Did I mention his political views are Strongly liberal, he dislikes conservatives..

3. Before he left Twitter, he took many Jabs at Christian conservatives

4. Before he left Twitter, he took many shots at religion

5. This explains why he clash with Mark Calaway ( The Undertaker)

6. This explains why he has no respect for The Undertaker or Sting

7. His Lack of Respect for those who've been in the Wrestling Business for a long time is sad..

8. His Lack of Respect for Part Time Wrestlers upsets me.

9. No Secret, many Wrestlers have dislike CM Punk for years

10. The years, he has disrespected Kurt Angle

11. The way he disrespected Hulk Hogan in TNA

12. He Supports Gay Marriage

In no way did I dislike Punk. But I wasn't a huge fan and I could see through his "Best In The World|" bullshit. Mostly because he wasn't even the best in WWE.

I found his promos repetitive, they droned on and he was self-righteous. His ring work was also sloppy and he's needed to change it up for a while. Still one of the best WWE had when it matters though.

Yeah he's a douche. So are many wrestlers. Punk's just honest about it.

I must have missed him hating Christians. And what's wrong with have differing political views

3. Before he left Twitter, he took many Jabs at Christian conservatives

4. Before he left Twitter, he took many shots at religion

Some people don't like how religion tells you how to live your life/do particular things. Same thing some religious people do to other religions/atheists

5. This explains why he clash with Mark Calaway ( The Undertaker)

6. This explains why he has no respect for The Undertaker or Sting

Must have missed that as well

7. His Lack of Respect for those who've been in the Wrestling Business for a long time is sad.

Probably the ones who like to hog the spotlight/don't like change

8. His Lack of Respect for Part Time Wrestlers upsets me.

It's a legitimate gripe. Why should someone work less than you but get paid as much if not more. Even if they are a big name it's still irksome

9. No Secret, many Wrestlers have dislike CM Punk for years

10. The years, he has disrespected Kurt Angle

11. The way he disrespected Hulk Hogan in TNA

Some people don't like other people for whatever reason.

12. He Supports Gay Marriage

And what's wrong with that exactly??

As to what I disliked about Punk before he left. His ring work could definitely be sloppy. I still maintain his suicide dive is one of the worst. And his promos could get repetitive. But aside from that his pros outweighed his cons for me.

Nothing Punk Is Still The Best In The World :):)
If/When he returns I'll be behind 100% face or heel.
When he's gone I'm still behind him, we don't know why he left but his in his good right to.
I'm not gonna make a 180 because he's not there.

12. He Supports Gay Marriage

Huh, didn't know that. But I personally don't care about a person's off-screen beliefs since that's their business, not mine.

More on topic I didn't have any reason to dislike him before. His promos were great, his matches were great and whatever attitude problems he may or may not have had didn't affect what I saw on screen. I'm sure he's a jerk and a pain in the ass to work with since he's not shy about that, but again that's no skin off my back.

I will admit though his in-ring performance was slipping before he left. Like his moves and matches weren't as great as they were before, and he felt like he was slowing down to me. I remember reading a rumor about him taking time off after the Heyman feud was done to rest/heal up from his lagging injuries, and was surprised when it didn't happen since it sure look like he needed it.

Here is why I like Punk. He stands up for what he believes in even if it means walking out on the company at the most important time of the year. He is great on the mic. He can put on great matches with damn near everybody. He calls out WWE's bullshit. The GTS is/was a great finisher. He has his haters STILL talking about him over 2 months after he left.

Oh wait. This was ANOTHER Punk hater thread. My bad.:disappointed:

So in other words, you don't like the guy because his political views don't match yours. Ok.

Maybe I'm a relic of sorts but I could care less what someone believes when they're off the clock. Celebrities are entitled to their views just as any normal person would be and I don't think fans should care anymore than clients of my office (I work in law) care about mine

That's said, while he is a jerk to fans on twitter for things like poor grammar and spelling, I don't really care. Not do I care about how Cena is supposedly as ass backstage as well. I feel the same about any pro athlete, it's should be about what you do between the lines so to speak. And his work certainly had diminished. So I suppose that's my gripe

Said the Rock/Austin fanboy.

Not a fan of The Kliq (any one of them and never was, although at one point I liked Hall and Kev a little bit), not a fan of Hogan, etc.

That's how he became a star?

He basically said give me the WWE title or I'm leaving.

At least he asked for a title, unlike a certain Stone Cold...

If CM Punk wasn't already a star the WWE would've left him go instead of giving him the belt. He won the WWE championship not because he was going to leave, he won the WWE champion because he was a big enough star that if he left the WWE felt they couldn't replace him at that time.

That's the problem with cm punk and his fanboys, they act like there's nobody in the world besides him.
Disagree, They like Bryan, the shield and many others imo. You're just labeling people based on them liking one person.

Also, I just realized something with his walk out. His fanboys will always be on his n-ts, doesn't matter what he does.
Well we don't know the reason he left this time, but I think it's safe to say Punk wasn't the same. Could be injuries or anything else.

He can kill their own family and they'll still sing his praises.

That's one of the most ridiculous things I've heard, and just makes you sound bitter and desperate for attention.

I am not a hardcore CM Punk fan, nor am I a hater. I will say this about Punk, just like Cena before him and possibly DB in 6 months time. The problem with Punk before he left was oversaturation. Every week we would see Punk 2-3 times on Raw, and to me it got to be too much. While I once enjoyed his promos and ring-work , I started thinking been there , seen that. No offence to Punk, Cena and possibly Bryan or all others before them, its just sometimes I get tired of the same guy taking up tv time every week.

I became a Punk fan shortly after he debuted in WWECW. I knew of his ROH work but I wasn't rooting for him to succeed in the WWE just because he had Indy success. As the years went on and on, he grew on me more and more, and it culminated with the Summer of Punk which was a very cool time.

The only thing I began to dislike about Punk over the past year or so, was his wearing of the Gracie Academy hoodie. I know he has trained there, but if you are a "fake wrestler", you shouldn't be bringing attention to the fact that you're a mark for real fighting. It just comes off as very poser-ish.

Yeah that's why they chanted punk's name in Bryan's segments and matches and the Reigns vs Bray match.

Injuries? So he left like a little pu$$y because of injuries then didn't bother to explain it on twitter. That would make it even worst.

Can't say that I dislike Punk. As is to be expected, he was better on some nights than he was on others but that's life itself. Not every promo was solid gold, nor was every match a classic and I've yet to come across any pro wrestler that can lay claim to being superb each and every single night. All in all, CM Punk was an extremely talented professional wrestler.

IF, IF, IF he's as provocative, confrontational, pessimistic, arrogant and sarcastic in real life as has been alleged over the years, then he's someone I could handle in pretty small doses before having the overwhelming urge to empty a can of industrial strength pepper spray into his eyes before tasing him in the nuts.

I have been a fan of Punk's for years, going back to his CZW days. He has, however, given me some pet peeves over the years.
1. While I respect him for his Straight Edge lifestyle, I found the SES to be annoying towards the end, he was a total debbie downer lol.
2.He kinda butchers the Macho Elbow.
3. While I love the GTS as a finisher, it requires the one taking it to actually take it right and sell it, which a lot of guys don't do thus making it look sloppy a lot.
4. He unfortunately has developed a "5 moves of doom" routine
5. His ring work slipped a little in 2013, he was pretty banged up so I can understand that
6. His attitude is cringe worthy at times, not necessarily whiny, but self entitled and pretty egotistical.

This is my first post in the forum so don't S&@! on me too hard hahaha
BANG BANG!, Have a nice day!!!

I know the Punk situation sits wrong with a lot of fans, as it does with me as I honestly, have no real feelings towards it, as you can see in the WWE, life goes on. The big issue I was having with CM Punk prior to this was his seemingly distant feelings towards the matches he was having and his total lack of passion and emotion. Whether it was singing on national television to jokingly making a tag team name with Daniel Bryan, I felt his disconnect and that is what really got to me about Punk prior to his departure, and I kind of feel a sigh of relief that maybe, when he comes back, he brings back a new life to his character and revives us, his fan base, to 2012 form.

Yeah that's why they chanted punk's name in Bryan's segments and matches and the Reigns vs Bray match.

f0AoMPG.gif

Because it's impossible to like more than one superstar at a time, right? Punk was/is still freshly gone.

Because no other superstar has left due to injuries, right? Wait... you have to announce them on Twitter now to "still be a man"?

Lord you're an idiot.

The Rock is an @$$hole? Hahahaha lmao.

Are you mentally !nsane or something?

The Rock is the nicest wrestler ever, if not the nicest human being ever lol.

His on-screen character is not. The Rock, not Dwayne Johnson, has been (several times) an asshole of a character.
