Im 14 and I love wrestling thats what i wanna do when i get older i wanna make the dream a reality.so would starting a backyard wrestling promotion be good for me or not?If u think it would be good then what should i do to get it started all i have is a trampoline and thats about it i have no materials to make a ring and i usually have no money.Im more of a hardcore guy so i do anything and everything during a match.everynow then me and a few friends have matches on the trampoline but never have a show.I personally think its a good idea to do backyard wrestling as long as noone gets injured.it would give me an experience around the business and i could make a few bucks although i dont care about the money i juss do it because thats what i love to do.but what do u think i should do?

There are 2 types of Backyard wrestling. 1 is good, the other is bad.

The bad type is the hardcore shit you see profiled on the "backyard wrestling is evil" news stories. People smashing light tubes over each other, throwing people through tables, etc. That stuff is terrible, because it will lead to injury, and because of the destructive nature it brings forth.

The good type is the generic wrestling fans goofing off missing punches by 5 feet stuff. That stuff is fine, because it is about having a good time, and the risk of injury is lower.

If you want to go and do backyard wrestling, go right ahead. Just make sure you (and the other wrestlers) are safe.

Me and a buddy of mine usually wrestle on my trampoline. We dont do any hardcore stuff. But we do some great moves tombstone piledriver, suplex, superplex, piledriver, ddt, hurricanrada, and many more.Idk what to do i wanna start a real small promotion but i livein a small town with few pro wrestling fans

Wrestling with a few friends in the backyard is fine as long as you don't do anything crazy like trying to attempt difficult moves or using weapons on each other. I really don't think it will lead to anything since not too many people are attracted to teenagers wrestling on a trampoline. It's fine to horse around with friends and have a good time though. If you really want to get involved in the wrestling business you should probably look around for some local wrestling schools or organizations. Education should be your first priority though that way you have something to fall back on.

You say you're a hardcore guy and then say you don't do hardcore.

Also a piledriver? I wouldn't let a 14 year old kid piledriver me

I am hardcore sometimes with a few friends but the guy who i let piledrive me is 30.it does look weird a 30 year old hanging out with a 14 year old but hes a friend of my family and he knows a lot about wrestliing and he dont care to get on the trampoline. My friends my age we arent always hardcore but we r more high flying off the trampoline on to the ground moves. Some times we use trash cans and chairs in our matches also but nothing crazy we never bleed lol my parents would kill me if they seen me razerblade

I never do the tombstone piledriver.im usually the one getting tombstoned.i do more flips and high flying moves

Sure it's a good idea as long as no one gets injured. The problem is you can't guarantee that no one will get injured. You have no training and do not know how to protect yourself or you opponent. Even the pros who have had years of training get injured. I'm sure you'll do it anyway, but I would stay away from it. At least keep it simple. Don't do that hardcore shit and avoid moves where someone gets dropped on their head or neck.

You're going to do what you want to do, but at least take this one piece of advice. Don't do it in your own yard. It would be bad enough if someone got injured, but if it happened in your yard your parents would get sued for everything they're worth even if you're not directly involved in the injury.

They say this for a reason. I can see it now, the 30 year old pedophile drops you on your head, you snap your neck, your mum tries to get a lawsuit.

Go join the wrestling team at school if you want to wrestle. If your school doesn't have a team, look up a MMA class you could join. at least that way you are learning some self defense along the way.

It's good if you're just screwing around for fun. It's bad when there are these idiots that put together a "promotion" and all they do is nearly kill themselves by smashing tube lights and other shit off each other. Just YouTube some back yard wrestling "promotions" and you will see just how shitty they are. CZW is basically backyard wrestling and it's a legitmate promotion and that shit is trash.

dude dont call him a 30 year old petophiile!!!!!I hang out with him because he is friends with my family him and my dad watch football.Me and him watch wrestling
