AW Seemingly Done With WWE; Ranting on Twitter

can't wait for 90 days to pass. then we will be able to see him on impact. hope he ends up managing somebody like pope or bully ray

With each dumbass Twitter post he makes, all he does is validate the WWE's decision to release him more and more.

Not really. He was already released. Ken Doane kept his mouth shut for years, where did it get him? Whenever this guy stops tweeting he becomes irrelevant again. This is some silly WZ logic of if I can drive someone over the edge then they were bound to end up there anyway.

Ranting is a way to keep him relevant, probably not the best way to do it but relevant nonetheless.

It does kind of validate WWE releasing him though, especially since he's been acting like a bitch since getting released. I understand he's pissed but he really needs to express it in a better way, all he's doing is making it less likely for him to get rehired back by the WWE and its the only place someone like AW will ever make a decent paycheck in the wrestling world.

TNA would be stupid to sign him. He brings little to nothing to the table and is currently proving that he can't be trusted to handle himself in a professional manner. It would be a perfect example of a high-risk, low reward signing.

It does amuse me when he complains about guys like Vince and Big Show not being punished for the same things he's doing.

That's not what I said. What I was saying is that when this guy acts like such a buffoon for being fired, which happens to roughly 10 performers every year for various reasons, it indicates he might have had a bad attitude. After all, how long was Abraham Washington off television before AW showed back up?

The more bad attitude AW shows, the more it validates the WWE's decision to dump him. Do I know AW has a bad attitude backstage? No, but the evidence right now certainly points in that direction.

That's what I was getting at.

Certainly. If they wanted to punish AW they would not have put a mic on him the very next day (Smackdown). There is likely some other reason for him being fired.

Plausible but it is still speculation. Twitter is just a short cut to the new shoot interview. How many wrestlers did shoots on someone they thought had wronged them back in the day and it turned out they didn't have some egregious attitude problem that made them unemployable? My main point is what someone does after an abnormal catalyst is not directly comparable to their normal demeanor.

Agreed. But that's really all we have to go on. After all, we're not even sure WHY he was released. We're just speculating on that.

No, but then again, I'm sure you've heard the phrase "where there's smoke, there's fire".

Basically, you and I are saying there's a likely cause and effect relationship going on here. Where we differ is on which is the cause and which is the effect.

Shame. I liked him. I thought he was funny and he was genuinely one of my reasons for watching RAW.

I find this hard to believe; I thought he was painfully annoying and boring.

I disagree with both of you. I didn't find him overly funny and he certainly was not one of the reasons I watch RAW. But I didn't find him painfully boring or annoying either.

I feel total apathy about him being gone. And that's the worst response someone can produce. Love him or hate him, not bad either way. But apathy is a fast pass to the unemployment line. Really, I don't care about him being gone one way or the other.

I was never a huge AW fan to begin with. I remember him scouting for his AW Promotions crap. It really could've been good had they stayed the course they were on. He had signe Mason Ryan, Primo/Epico/Rosa. Then Mason Ryan just kind of faded away and finally he dumps Primo/Epico/Rosa for PTP which is a little bit of an improvement. Now he's fired for a lame ass rape joke and for possibly having a bad attitude. Yepp he was a huge success wasn't he? Give PTP time to develop and they'll be just fine without AW. I know I will be.

I like AW but I hate how people say he got the PTP over. PTP got over before they were paired with AW. Weren't the WWE considering giving them a Tag Title run long before AW came along? Yeah, exactly. If they did fine before AW, they'll do fine without him. But if they still wanna pair PTP with a manager, how bout they join Vickie Guerrerro's stable? She isn't the mouthpiece that AW is but managers are always fun anyway.

What a tit. He is making sure that nobody in Stamford regrets that decision. When DBD got let go, he was practically silent to the press, apologised when he had to, got some dates in the indies, worked his ass off and got his big break when the fuss blew over.
